Two hours, huh? Nadeline let out a small sigh, though as she was about to go to her room, Wesley approached her. She looked at him curiously, wondering what he wanted to talk about. Turns out he didn't want to talk, but rather had a gift for her. She could hardly believe it--well, no, he seemed like the gift giving type, but she didn't think she would be getting such a fancy and elegant one so soon. He presented her a rapier, likely a replacement for her lost one. She couldn't help but admire it so, gingerly and carefully taking the weapon from his hands. It was absolutely beautiful. She bit her lower lip lightly, trying not to blush, though she did break out in a smile. "Why, thank you." She replied, very much grateful. "This is...it's amazing." Once again, he left her speechless.

Emiri walked past the two and into the hall. Before she got too far, however, Grant had caught up, lightly grabbing her hand. She turned back to look at him and spotted a somewhat concerned look. "No one else is saying it, so I will." He said, his voice low. "Don't go around doing such reckless acts. You'll only get yourself killed. The information is...appreciated, but it isn't worth it to risk yourself like that."

"I understand." She replied as he released her.

"Good. " He said, motioning towards the armory. "You should find a quiver and arrows, I took the liberty of restocking. The others may have their weapons but you and I are limited. Every hit counts."

"Good thing I have an excellent eye for accuracy, then." She nodded at him, going to Jaakuna's room afterwards.

When Nadeline had thanked Wesley for the gift, he would actually motion her to follow him as he just wanted to talk to her for a while. Plus, they both could help each other with preparing for the trip. It would be two hours and that was something that Wesley would use to his advantage. Meanwhile, Jaakuna and Emiri headed to his room. Two hours was still ways away, they would use this time to also prepare. Now, that just left Savayna and Grant alone.

Savayna still sat at the lounge couch. She didn’t really need anything else, she was pretty much ready. She felt like the odd one out as everyone else was doing stuff. She looked to Grant. Her cheeks slightly blushed, but that was only cause of how good she thought he looked. Though, aside that, they were alone. Jaakuna and Emiri were in Jaak’s room, Nadeline and Wesley went off to prepare for the trip ahead of them and that left Grant and Savayna just alone. She felt a little awkward with Grant. There was just some things left to be said. She looked to him once more. “You know, we still have things to talk about.” She said sort of blushing.

In the supply room, Wesley and Nadeline were there organizing everything. They were making sure that all six of them had equal amounts of the supplies and that they were all set. Wesley was actually enjoying this. To some it might be boring labor and if it were with any other person, Wesley would think the same, but with Nadeline, nothing is ever boring labor. The two of them were growing closer and closer as the days passed on. Even as they would keep on doing what they were doing, Wesley would speak. “So, have you ever heard of this Lola person?” Wesley asked.

Meanwhile up in Jaakuna’s room, Jaakuna and Emiri walked in. He still was a little mad at her for going to Reia’s. He couldn’t voice his opinion in front of everyone cause the things he had to say would be a little too embarrassing to speak to them all. Plus, Jaakuna wanted to address this to her in private anyways. Jaakuna sat down at the edge of his bed and looked to Emiri “I couldn’t say this down with everyone else, but be honest with me.” He said, “You’re scared of Lola, aren’t you?” He asked.
As the morning dragged on, Hamut walked through the halls of the Emperor’s Palace, mainly on the sixth floor where his office was. He had summoned the three judges within his plan to overthrow Vincent. As he would open his door of his office, he found Isaiah, Francis, and Levi all sitting down around the room. When he himself entered, all three of them turned to him. They looked to him with a nod of some sort. Hamut would then walk down the center, trail around the left side of his desk, and sit in his chair. He would scoot the chair in so that he can sit up straight. He then placed his arms on the desk, bent in right angles, his hands locked together, and head resting on them. His eyes looked to the judges and with those very same eyes he would motion them to sit down and so they did.

Lifting his head up just ever-so slightly, Hamut would talk. “I have gathered you three here this morning to give you updates on our plan.” He said, “Yesterday, I ventured to The Skycity of Bhujerba and met up with the Marquis and my grandson, Roman.” He continued, “I told him that he was needed to come to Archadia and rule as its Emperor.” He finished.

Though they were indeed shocked, they understood. Well, two of them were shocked. Levi was just happy things were proceeding. Ixion was the one who had a look of disbelief on his face again. “But Roman is of bastard status! Surely you don’t expect him to right out come as the Emperor. I would be much more suited for the role.” Ixion exclaimed.

Francis and Levi looked to Ixion. Francis with a look of ‘how dare you’ and Levi just smiled at Ixion. She liked the fire this boy had. However, Hamut was not happy with Ixion’s display of words. “Quiet boy! You know that due to your obligations and responsibilities as a Judge, you are not permitted to take the throne. If that were the case, then I would jump at the chance. “He stated lifting his head up all the way from his hands. “Besides, Roman’s bastard status will not be a factor. He has the Darcone blood flowing through his veins, despite whatever kind of slut his father — my son and your uncle — fucked to make his existence to happen.” Hamut said. Ixion didn’t like this one bit, but he didn’t have a choice in the matter.

Francis would be the next one to speak. “So, what did Roman say to this?” He asked.

Hamut smiled. “He accepted after some motivating on my part. He, of course, will have to move some things along, but in two days, we will have a new Emperor.” Hamut stated.

The reactions to that were indeed mixed, but they all knew this was for the better, so Ixion would stay silent, Francis just nodded as he approved, and Levi, well she would smile. She was planning something, but none of the judges knew what it was.

Grant decided now was as good a time as ever to load his gun. He went back to the lounge and took a seat as most everyone cleared out, leaving only himself as Savayna. He unclipped the pouch he bought filled with ammo from the weapons shop. As he began to load his gun, she spoke. He wasn't quite sure what she was talking about, really. He did look up briefly at her for a moment, quirking an interested eyebrow. "What about?" He asked her lightly, returning his attention to loading ammo into his gun. He wondered what she had meant, but he hadn't the slightest clue.

Nadeline scrutinized over their supplies. She had made sure to buy an overabundance, as always; she never believed one could have too many potions. However, the manner of splitting them was never too fun a task. Still, she found some odd comfort in organizing, her obsessive compulsive tendencies helped somewhat. For a moment it was only herself and Wesley, and he seemed to be having fun. As he brought up the topic of Lola, she couldn't help but furrow her brow slightly. "It...It is not uncommon for royal families to seek...'help'--a term I use very loosely, mind you--from outside sources to rid themselves of opposition in their race for the throne. Reia is not the first, nor will she be the last to seek out people to kill whoever she needs. Once upon a time, I myself had to learn about some of the groups. Not so I could attack anyone but so that I could know who to expect and perhaps offer a bribe for them to look the other way. But this...Lola character...I doubt that's even her real name, it's probably a code or whatever."

She spoke out her thoughts, though she remained concentrated on their supplied. "It troubles me that Jaakuna and Savayna compared her to Levi. This entire situation troubles me, in all honesty, but that little tidbit may have seemed humorous, but it is about as funny as having two Wild Saurians appear before you in the wild. It isn't enough that we have Vincent and his ruthless thugs he calls Judges to worry about. Reia had been rather passive, and Vlyn and Aloa had been more help than harm. Now we have nowhere to hide--not that we are ones for hiding, but we are now limited to the skies--which while it seems endless is not a good thing." She let out a small sigh. "Perhaps I worry too much, but we need to consider all out options."

It seemed Jaakuna had followed her to his room. Emiri wasn't too surprised. What did surprise her was when he asked if she was afraid of Lola. Was that the feeling she had? "Fear...is not the appropriate word for it." She admitted slowly, going to her bag and pulling out her usual dress. "No...she deeply disturbed me. It troubles me how much she knew." It was hard to admit that the woman had a lasting effect on her. Just like Vincent had. She hadn't told Jaakuna what he had done--not that it was a big deal, but she could still feel his fingers though her hair, and Lola's reenactment triggered said discomfort. One simple thing that probably should not have been so effective. "She told me that she wondered how I would react if...she ever hurt you. I don't now how I should have reacted to that. When i couldn't use my ability, everyone kept getting hurt, and there was nothing I could do about it. That feeling of helplessness was something I wanted to get rid off. So when it came back, I felt so empowered. Like I was...invincible. But I'm not, and Lola reminded me of exactly how mortal I am despite possessing something that could only be described as a power of the gods."

Savayna looked at Grant as he actually looked confused as to what exactly they needed to talk about. Either that, or he was nervous about what it was that Savayna wanted to talk to him about. Still, she wouldn’t stray away from it just cause he would be confused or whatever. “You know what I mean.” She sighed, expressing that Grant was just playing dumb. “There was no possible way that we discussed all that we needed to last night.” She said sitting back, legs crossed. “Besides that, I want to talk to you. Hell, maybe get to know you a little better in the process.” She said sort of blushing.
As Wesley had asked about if Nadeline knew who this Lola character was, Nadeline would express that royal families sometimes get help from the outside. This was something that Wesley knew all too well about. His family was among some of the royal families that did that and sometimes even just a bit too much. She would then go on to say that her Aunt Reia wasn’t the first to do this and that she wouldn’t be the last to use these people for their own intentions. As Wesley listened more, she would state that Nadeline had to learn about these groups only to know what to expect from them. Wesley would nod his head slightly as he would agree with Nadeline there. He would also agree how she would say that Lola is probably a code name of some kind.

Nadeline would further attack this topic by saying how she feels troubled how Jaakuna and Savayna compared her to Levi and Wesley just chills down his spine when he thought of the snake lady(as Jaakuna had called her). Just the fact that the two of them would be compared was never a good sign. Nadeline also stated that added to all of the other people who after them — Vincent, the Archadian Judges, and Reia — now they have the Assassins Creed after them. Wesley also didn’t like this one bit. Though, he would speak now.

“I don’t think we have the judges to worry about right now. Hamut seems to be on our side for now and I really don’t think they’ll go out of their way to pursue us.” Wesley stated. “However, I think you’re right. We do need to consider all of our options really carefully from here on out. I fear that even Rabanastre won’t be safe for us much longer.” Wesley said as now this whole thing got him to thinking about where his sister would stand on this. He didn’t think she would deny him sanctuary in Rabanastre, but with things going the way that they are, there’s a slight worry in the back of Wesley’s mind. “In any case, I think for right now we should worry about the journey to Giruvegan.”
When Emiri spoke, Jaakuna seemed to be wrong in some aspects when he assumed that she was afraid of Lola. Emiri would actually state that she was very much disturbed by the woman. She would further elaborate on the fact that this Lola character seemed to know so much about her, Jaakuna, and their friends. Jaakuna could definitely understand that. Though, this got him thinking on how much exactly this woman knew. However, as Emiri would speak more about it, Jaakuna cut those thoughts for the moment and listened. She would say that Lola asked her how would she react if she had hurt Jaakuna. Emiri would further say that Lola made her feel mortal, despite her feeling that her power was something from the gods or something like that.

“She really is that weird huh?” Jaakuna merely mused aloud. “She won’t hurt me. I am INVINSIBLE!” Jaakuna roared out in proud confidence. Then he calmed down. “But seriously, no one is going to hurt me. We got each other and besides, even if this Lola person is super creepy, we’ll get her and anyone else that comes after us.” Jaakuna said standing up, taking Emiri’s hands. “I won’t let anything happen to any of us.” Jaakuna said, but then thinking about all of that, for some reason brought him to that vision he had when he almost died. When Jaakuna released Emiri from his grip, he would sit back down, head looking down, and then he looked up to Emiri. “I’ve been meaning to ask.” Jaakuna said, “What was it like meeting my brother?” Jaakuna asked slightly nervous.

Protecting everyone was what Emiri was afraid of. Lola knew of their strengths and weaknesses. After that, however, Jaakuna blindsided Emiri with a question about her meeting Vincent. Where did she even start? The fact that he promised her to take her to Jaakuna only to beat him nearly to death afterwards? That odd thing he did with her hair? The fact that he nearly murdered one of his own men for her to demonstrate her power? The entire meeting was unforgettable, though not in a good way. The guy was insane, he made Lola look decent. Though in actuality, she wasn't sure who disturbed her more. She sat down next to Jaakuna, though shifted somewhat.

"It was...I don't know." She admitted, though she shuddered slightly as the image of him ripping through his soldier's body flashed before her eyes. "He's very powerful. He was courteous to me, he asked me to heal someone. He said if I did so, he would release me. Though obviously, that was a lie...he is also very violent. Being so close to him...He frightens me." She rather reluctantly admitted, closing her eyes.
Nadeline nodded in agreement. For now, they needed to focus on the trip ahead, and it wasn't going to be too easy. The group would deal with whatever came their way as it came. There wasn't any use in worrying about every single little detail. She did measure that, however, as one of her princess quirks. Still, she couldn't help but wonder what everyone else was up to right now. It was still some time before they got there. As she placed a Remedy in one of the grouplings, she couldn't help but let out a little sigh. "There are only a few Espers that remain, their locations are probably among the most dangerous that we have ever been to. I do hope our power matches not only the Espers, but the monsters as well. We have been doing well in overtaking them, perhaps now that we have more people it will even out the odds. Which brings the question of who the leader of this group is." She approached the topic as cautiously as possible.
Grant wasn't exactly sure what Savayna meant when she said they needed to discuss more. What more was needed? Still, he didn't want to make er angry or upset her right before going to Giruvegan. Maybe knowing one another a little better would help matters. As he continued putting ammo in his gun, he got an idea. "We could ask each other questions. That's always fun. I ask something, you answer, then you ask something, I answer, and so on and so forth" He said as he finished. He began organizing the ammo into their clips. He didn't really want to admit it but he wasn't very good at talking much. The game would hopefully get him to open up more. He looked at Savayna for a moment. "I'll start. Do you miss Archadia?" He asked.

Grant brought up the idea of just asking each other questions back and forth to get to know each other. That actually was a good idea; though his first question was a pretty big one. He would go on to ask Savayna if she missed Archadia. Yeah, that one wasn’t what she was expecting right off the bat. She would answer it regardless. “Sometimes, I do find myself missing it. I mean, no shit; it’s my home. Despite everything, it’s my home. It doesn’t matter if I’m wanted by the crazy emperor that runs it or whatever, but yeah, I miss it. Sometimes, I think it would be worth getting caught just to smell the air of it one more time.” She admitted. Now, she would ask him a question. “How about you? Are you going to miss your home of Rozarria?” She asked.
As Nadeline would speak, Wesley thought about every single word she said. He agreed with her on the fact that the remaining espers were indeed in some of the most dangerous places that Ivalice had to offer. Even more so, Wesley too wondered whether or not the group’s power had caught up to the level they needed to venture into places such as Giruvegan. “Yeah, I hope our power levels are up there as well.” He said.

Wesley was just thinking about that and on the note she made about the numbers of the group increasing, she would ask who was the leader of the group? It’s safe to say that this caught Wesley off by surprise. He did ponder about it sometimes, but he didn’t stop to think about it seriously. However, now he was and Wesley couldn’t help but think of one person. “When I look back at everything that has happened and how we were all brought in, in some aspect, Jaakuna has been that very sole reason we’re all here.” Wesley said, “I mean, he was the one who had Emiri originally and then you jumped in(I’m guessing at least). And then he got me on board. Following myself, Savayna joined up, which is his ex-wife. And of course, Grant was the last.” Wesley realized he wasn’t making much sense, but he would further his reason. “I just think that everything is the way it is cause of Jaakuna. I don’t know, but if you ask me, Jaakuna is the leader of our group when it all comes down to it all.”
Everything Emiri said about Vincen was true. He was powerful, he’s also courteous, but most of all out of anything else, he is scary when he wants to be. Jaakuna knew this growing up and even when he beat the living snot out of him, Jaakuna always knew this. There was one thing that caught him off-guard, however. He brought Emiri over to Archadia to heal someone. In all that he knew about Archadia, Jaakuna didn’t know that there was someone so important to Vincent’s black hole of a heart that he would need someone to heal them.

Jaakuna looked to Emiri. “Did he say who it was that he wanted you to heal?” He asked her. This had Jaakuna’s attention by the freaking nose.

Well, that had caught his attention. Emiri looked at Jaakuna with an expression of surprise. This faded, however, as she shook her head. "No...he wanted me to heal them in the morning. I thought it was odd, but who was I to object? He said I was a guest, but the truth of the matter was that I was his prisoner. Though once I would have done it, I suppose that was when he planned to kill me in front of Grant." She explained to him. "That was when he locked me in one of the guest rooms...do you know who it could be?" She asked him curiously.
"I would agree with you on most everything, really." Nadeline said slowly, having taken in everything Wesley had said into consideration. "I don't mean to sound ungrateful. Truly, I am grateful he didn't hand Emiri over when he had the chance. I suppose...Oh, I suppose I just wish he wasn't so hot headed." She accidentally knocked over an Antidote as she spoke. Rolling her eyes, she picked it up and placed it exactly where it needed to be. "We all balance one another out, we each have our own positives and negatives. Heavens know I wish I could get rid of my own flaws." She scoffed lightly, shaking her head at the Eye Drops in her hand. "Grant is about as expressionable as a tree, Savayna outmatches Jaakuna in crudeness, Emiri likes to have her little secrets--which is an issue, mind you this Reia fiasco of hers is all too common, she loves getting into trouble. I admit I have my own temper to and my hesitation, and you, my dear, are much too rational." She winked at him.
Grant nodded. He obviously did not have the same fond memories that Savayna had, considering he had been imprisoned. "Stigma is my home as well. Though I don't share my niece's taste for adventure, I prefer staying at home and being with my family, as broken as it is." He replied with a small shrug. He took out a polishing cloth and began running it over the blade of his gun. "Let's see...do you have any family? I remember visiting you at your home, you seemed to be living alone." He also remembered that being the first time he had seen her in her underwear. The thought turned his face red, and he found himself strangely fascinated with properly polishing his weapon.

When he gave his reason, Savayna just smiled and she actually sort of laughed. Though, just by looking at him, Savayna could tell that Grant was indeed the kind of person that much rather stay at his home and not go out venturing throughout the world. She would just keep laughing at this and Savayna’s laugh was happy and a little teasing to Grant. Then, he asked her about her family. Savayna’s laughter stopped.

“I-I don’t speak to them. Or rather, they don’t speak to me.” She said lowly. “I resent my father for marrying me to the Darcone family. I mean, I don’t hate them, the Darcone House. But at the time, they just wanted to save their own asses. And my mother, well she died just shortly after my wedding to Jaakuna. I never knew what or how she died. The whole thing was dropped for the sake of the Darcone House.” Savayna said gripping her pants tightly. “I do have an older brother. His name is Nicolas. He defected from Archadia and my homeland when I was thirteen. We were really close and as you can imagine, I didn’t take it very well.” Though she wondered what happened to her brother, she smiled. “You two would have gotten along, I think. He was very serious of what I remember. Though, he did have a love for nature and adventure. Actually, I remember getting a postcard from him about seven years ago and that was when I was sixteen. He wrote that he was in Stigma, actually. He told me that he loved the way the city was on water and that he wouldn’t mind showing me it someday.” She said smiling. “That was the last I heard from him. I don’t even know if he’s alive or not.” Savayna shamefully admitted, starting to show tears.

As she would wipe the tears away from her eyes, she would put on a smile. “But anyways, I guess it’s my turn huh?” She said. “Have you ever been in love? I mean, legitimately in love. Like, how Lorenzo and Karolina are.” She asked him.
When Nadeline would go on to name the group’s flaws, she would note that Jaakuna and Savayna are crude, and how Emiri liked to keep her secrets. She would state that Grant was as expressionable as a tree. Wesley couldn’t help but laugh at that. It was a pretty loud laugh too. However, his laughing stopped when she would state that his flaw was being too rational. In his mind, he’s thinking, Since when is being rational a bad thing? Wesley would smile to her. “You’re right, I am too rational.” Wesley looked at her rather mischievously. “Perhaps I should do something that’s, oh I don’t know? Is more unpredictable and illogical.” He said grabbing Nadeline close to him. “Perhaps I should just throw all caution to the wind and take you right here in the supply room.” He said bringing her in, arms wrapped around her, and she was in so close that their bodies were pressing against each other and he could hear her breathing so clearly. “What say you to that?”
And with that, his heart sank. Jaakuna didn’t hear anything else. He didn’t hear her say that Vincent was placed her in a guest room he didn’t hear her ask him a question as to who Vincent wanted her to heal. No, Jaakuna’s hearing briefly stopped cause his world came crashing down once she said that Vincent was going to kill her. Jaakuna knew that she was in a lot of danger on that day, but he didn’t know just how much. Vincent was going to just use her and kill her and he was going to do it in front of Grant. He was going to kill two birds with one stone. He just couldn’t believe it. Jaakuna was shaking. His hands were the start of this and then his entire body.

And then he went numb.

Jaakuna started to hyperventilate, breathing in short breaths. Such short breaths that the beat of his heart and the rate at which it would beat would increase more and more up until the point Jaakuna fell to the ground, convulsing. No doubt by this point, Emiri was screaming at him, but he heard nothing. Jaakuna was in a state of shock that he felt all of this was unreal and he felt so detached by everything in his surroundings.

Emiri watched Jaakuna, slightly concerned. Did he even hear her? It was then that he started shaking. That couldn't possibly be good. "Jaakuna?" She asked him worriedly, though he didn't respond. In fact, he got worse. "Jaakuna?! Jaakuna!" She grabbed his shoulders, trying to calm him down, though her own voice was probably sounding panicked. She felt her heart drop--what had happened? What did she say? What should she do? Should she get Nadeline? All the questions in her head were starting to make her panic too. No, no, she needed to fix him--now. Oh dear gods-- Too late, she was definitely panicking now. "Jaakuna! I'm--I'm right here!" She half yelled, half pleaded. She didn't even notice she was shaking him, and before she knew it, she raised her hand and smacked him once as hard as she could. "Jaakuna!"
The whole thing had started as a light joke--she couldn't see a single flaw in Wesley if she wanted to--but the next thing she knew, he had pulled her to him, and at the moment, the two were merely inches away from one another's face. He could probably hear her heart beating like crazy. It was definitely unexpected, she had no idea what to make of it. Once again Nadeline found herself quite literally swept off her feet by him. She didn't even remember what they were doing, only that she and him were in the same room alone. She couldn't hide her blush, and it crept up onto her cheeks and flared something fierce. "That would certainly be unpredictable." She found herself saying, almost in a whisper, as if it was something forbidden. The entire thing felt so out of place. But...she liked it. She didn't know if it was because he was the one doing it or because of the way he was looking at her. She bit her lip lightly, though she did raise a hand to his face. No thinking. No rationality. She reached in and lightly kissed him.
It was a little sad to hear that Savayna wasn't on good terms with her family. It just seemed like something foreign to him; he had always gotten along well with everyone...well, until they all started to change. Still, he was glad she shared it with him. It was then that she asked if he had ever been in love. For the first time in a long time, Grant actually let out a laugh, a small, short laugh, but a laugh nonetheless. "Apparently, no. I thought I loved Emelia--Emiri. Years I thought that she and I were meant to be, even if she hadn't quite seen it." He shook his head at his gun, though he continued to polish it.

"The truth of the matter was that I never did love her. I loved the idea of her--she used to be so docile, so obedient, so...controllable. After she and I met for the first time, my mother passed away from an illness. Shortly after our engagement, my father was murdered by my older brother. All these people taken away from me, all the things I wanted slipping out of my hands...but I could control Emiri. I could make her do whatever, tell her to do something and she would do it without so much as a question. And eventually, she began to despise me for it. We fought. And she was right. All I wanted to do was control her, it wasn't love at all." He realized he had gotten off topic at this point. "So no. Not yet, at least." He murmured.

He stopped polishing his gun and let out a sigh. He then looked at Savayna again. He supposed now was as good a time to ask. "You...don't still have feelings for...Jaakuna...do you?"

Jaakuna couldn’t hear anything she was saying. He was away, not in the present. Only thing he could hear was the faint whispers. He didn’t know where they were coming from. He couldn’t feel where they were coming from. Jaakuna was just so lost in himself, much like Emiri was that one time when they were arrested by Wesley before all of this began. He was remembering back all of this before he met Emiri, before he made all of his friends. His mind was going back to the place before anyone he would dare meet would be brought into his world of crazy. Jaakuna was remembering to a time when he didn’t have to be the reason his friends and loved ones would be in danger of losing their lives.

And then he felt it.

Jaakuna’s face was slapped as hard as Emiri could do it and he snapped out of it. He saw her hovering above him. He saw her face, her eyes, and how she was so worried about him. Jaakuna didn’t understand. Did something happen? The last thing he remembers was her telling him that Vincent had her as his guest. And then, here he was, looking at her as she did the same, but all worried like. “What happened?” He asked, grasping his cheek and he it tingled. It felt like someone sucker punched him hard. Jaakuna was a little confused on what just happened.
They were close, they were super close. Yes, they were so close that their bodies were touching, faces were mere inches away from each other and both could hear each others hearts. Both hearts were beating fast and surprisingly, in sync with one another. Wesley was taking the charge and as Nadeline would whisper to him, he smiled at her, not before taking her hand around his face and kissing him lightly. The kiss was magical, it was wonderful, and it would get deeper. Well, not at first at least. Wesley would return the favor of him kissing her. It started as pecks, but then it would grow into something more deeper, more passionate. Wesley would embrace her as he would throw all of his emotions into this kiss. He would gently, but with confidence and boldness, lift her up by gripping her waist and hoist her onto the counter and all the while still kissing her. However, now the kiss upgraded into a make-out session.
As Grant would answer Savayna’s question, she didn’t expect it. Even more so, she didn’t expect that he would be so open about how he felt — or rather how he thought he felt — about Emiri. He would reveal that when his mother died from her illness and when his brother killed his father, Grant was losing control of his life. At this point, Savayna gasped as she couldn’t believe it. As he would reveal other tidbits, she put it together. Why he was so cruel to them all before? Why he pursued Emiri so villainously ? It was cause he wanted to have control in his life and that’s why he did the things he did. Savayna felt that she and Grant were the same in that aspect, but she wasn’t as bad off as Grant was. Sure, losing her brother and not hearing from him for a long time did a lot against her, but it was the countless men she fucked through her teen years and just the abuse said men gave her that really sent her over the railing. Savayna just didn’t know that Grant was on a similar boat as she was.

That’s when he would ask her a question about whether she still has feelings for Jaakuna. “Oh dear..” She said nervously. She ran her hands up her thighs(they were at her knees beforehand), and as they neared her waist, she slowly clenched them into fists. “That’s a very complicated answer.” She stated. “It’s true that he and I, at one point, were married and in love, but I guess when he left Archadia after killing his father — he did it for me by the way, but that’s another story for another time — I realized that he really did care for me. Now, of course he loves Emiri now and I’m happy for him. I guess, there’s some part of me that still has feelings for him. Hell, I might always have feelings for him, as you will for Emiri, but just a day ago, I realized that my feelings for him are more of wishing him good luck in everything and not wanting to be with him.” She continued, “I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but I consider him one of my best friends and as you know, best friends simply don’t cross that line.” She laughed, “So, I guess to answer your question, yes I still have feelings for him, but none of them are romantic or sexual. It‘s more friendship than anything else” She admitted.

Savayna would lean forward a bit. “I got one for you now.” She said, “Do you still think about the time you saw me in my bra and panties?” She asked, smirking quite flirtatiously.

Grant felt immensely relieved after Savayna finished talking about Jaakuna. It meant he had a chance, anyway. Maybe. Hopefully. He then continued polishing his gun, clearly in a better mood now. Once he deemed the blade polished enough, he held it up, peering over the barrel. It was then that Savayna asked if he ever thought about the time he saw her in her underwear. He didn't even notice it, but he actually let out a slight chuckle. "Of course." He responded without really thinking. Slowly, however, it dawned on him exactly what he had just admitted to. His face slowly turned red, and he took a sudden interest in examining the trigger on his gun. "What I mean to say--that is, I...It isn't something...no, what I meant was--" He then let out a cough, deciding instead to pretend that never happened. "S-So...uh, do you have any hobbies?"
Gods knew how much restrain Nadeline had, and boy did all of it go flying out the window at this point. Nope, didn't matter to her if her own father walked in right now, she had been wanting this for a while now. She lightly grabbed the front of Wesley's longcoat, as if wanting to pull him closer than he already was. The whole thing was just so naughty to her for some reason. They probably shouldn't be doing this, or at the very least, not here anyway. Not to mention they were both members of royalty! And yet there was not a reason in the world that would make her want to stop. She felt her entire body ache for him in a way she hadn't experienced in a while. Her fingers ran through his dark locks, her lips latched onto his. Her other hand would take his and place it on her thigh. His touch sent a sensation on her skin.
What the hell did he mean what happened?! Emiri hovered over him, her entire body trembling, her eyes with tears and her mind in a clear state of panic. It took her a few seconds to calm her own breathing down--no doubt she was probably close to having her own panic attack. Slowly, she regained control, and she gently laid down on top of him. "You're okay...you're okay..." She said with immense relief, though she was not sure if she had been saying it to him or to reassure herself. "You were having a panic attack...and I hit you." She told him as her head was on his chest, her ear against his heart. "I don't know what happened, but you're okay now."

When Emiri told Jaakuna that he was having a panic attack, he didn’t want to believe her, but perhaps it made sense. He remembered being on his bed and the next thing he remembered was feeling something and then here he was asking Emiri what had happened. So, it definitely wasn’t totally out of question. If Jaakuna needed more proof of that, Emiri smacked him. When she told him that, Jaakuna gripped his cheek and the tingling feeling was there. Obviously she slapped him really hard. Jaakuna looked to Emiri and he saw the look of relief on her face. Whatever did happen, it put her in such worry and now that he was okay, she was relieved. “Do you know what caused me to have a panic attack?” He asked her.
They were drawn in closer to each other. It was either Wesley’s own doing as he wanted her more the longer this continued or it was her pulling on his coat and as a result of that, pulling him closer to him. All the while that went down, their kissing wouldn’t stop and Wesley didn’t want to just as she didn’t. She ran one of her hands through his black and white hair and her other hand took one of his own and ran it across her thigh. In the very instant that it had happened, Wesley felt a longing for her unlike before. This longing would manifest itself in raw desire for her. He would do all he could with his free arm to take off his coat, revealing a bare, masculine chest. As he would successfully get the coat off — albeit some slowing of the kissing, but he got it off regardless — Wesley would grip her thigh confidently, and would start kissing her neck. It was deeper than anything before. Just doing this brought passion to the forefront of Wesley’s actions.
Savayna smirked when Grant had said — granted not knowing what he said, but he said it — that he still thought about the time that he saw her(Savayna) in her bra and panties that one time. Savayna, interested to tease him a bit about it, would get up from the couch, and seductively climb on the table. As she did this, she made sure that her tits were showing slightly through the openness of the tank top she was wearing She would be on all fours at this point, her ass up in the air. “So, you still think about it huh? Maybe you would like a refresher?” She said winking quite seductively and mischievously.

Grant was focused entirely at his gun, though he would find a nice surprise at the end of his gun when he pointed it to the wall. Except he saw no wall, only Savayna's cleavage. He immediately put down the gun (lest he accidentally shoot her or her chest) and felt his face turn red. She asked him two questions, one if he really still thought about it, and if he would like to refresh his memory. Of course, most straight guys and lesbians would probably jump at this kind of opportunity. Grant, however, was not the typical normal Hume. He was first and foremost a prince, and while most people believed that royal members often took people as they pleased (lord knew Reia has her fair share of toys and whatnot) he was actually rather chaste.

So this was quite a surprise.

"You...didn't answer the question." He mumbled quietly, letting out a sort of nervous chuckle. "I mean, it's perfectly normal for men to think about these kind of experiences--I mean when I first saw you on the ship (before you hit me) my first thought was that you had clothes on this time."Was he rambling? He was rambling. Very nervously at that. "That isn't to say I don't think you need clothes all the time, you're a beautiful woman with or without them--No, I mean, uh, what I want to say is that you don't need to take your clothes off to be beautiful because you already are with them on so...so..." Oh gods what the hell was he saying?
Nadeline couldn't help but bite her lip at the sight of his bare chest. Wesley was definitely one of the best looking guys, and he didn't disappoint under his clothes, either. His actions were so raw and lustful, she could hardly believe this was the same Wesley from before. But she absolutely loved it, and silently thanked the gods for her joke that he ended up taking seriously. His lips then latched onto her neck, her own hands exploring the bare skin presented to her. It was like getting to open a present a day earlier than intended for her. She felt her skirt getting hitched up slightly by their combined movements, and found his hand on her thigh again--this time he was the one who put it there. She felt her own breathing getting somewhat shorter in anticipation, she was absolutely craving him at this point.
"Vincent?" Her voice was so small, as if afraid that one word would send him reeling once more. She couldn't take him panicking again, and felt her own heart beating madly again. She didn't want to remind him, she didn't want to trigger another panic attack. She didn't even know what caused it, she was answering his question and next thing she knew he was--no, no, she needed to remain calm. And yet, in her head Lola's words echoed: how would she react if something did happen to Jaakuna? Lola was right after all. That thought alone terrified Emiri, and before she knew what she was doing, she got off of Jaakuna, instead sitting next to him. You can't let her get into your head like that. she told herself mentally.

Just hearing him go on and on about how beautiful Savayna was made her laugh. He was trying his best to say what he wanted to say, but in the process he would say these things that suggested that he wanted her right in the here and now. That just made her laugh a bit more. Well, maybe it was more like a chuckle of sorts, but still. He was getting all red and she found that cute. Actually, she found it really adorable. Though, she would stop her chuckling to speak. "So you're saying you want to see me without my clothes huh? All you had to do was ask." She said as she began to remove her tank top, but only slightly as to tease Grant.
Though she said it lowly and barely audible, Jaakuna heard her say Vincent's name. Was that really what he had the panic attack over? If so, then what exactly made it to where Jaakuna would react in such a way? He had no clue, but maybe he didn't want to know the specifics. Perhaps knowing would make do him more bad than good. That's when Jaakuna decided that he didn't want to know the specifics. At the end of the day, it really didn't matter. It definitely looked like ti would bring Emiri pain, so he wouldn't press the matter any longer. "I can see it pains you to tell me, so don't. The important thing is that I'm fine." He said smiling. Jaakuna stood up, holding out his hand. "Let's go down now. We're probably almost to Giruvegan." He said.

No, you're not fine. Emiri couldn't help but think to herself. Still, there wasn't any point in reiterating her words, lest she wished for him to have another attack. She nodded, taking his hand and getting up as well. Giruvegan, huh? She personally had only heard stories, but she didn't really know anything about it, really. Nadeline probably knew something about it. "I wonder what it's like." She voiced her thoughts as they got into the elevator. "From what I hear, no one has actually been able to find it, per say. They usually end up getting lost or defeated by the monsters in the Feywood. I mean, I've trekked through the Feywood once, but that was to get to Mt. Bur Omisace." She said, a finger on her chin as she thought about it.
Of course Savayna would think that. Not that Grant wanted to object. But this was not a good idea. He let out a slight cough, trying to think of a way to make her stop without offending her. He couldn't stop his eyes, however, and he had to forcibly shut them to focus. He coughed again, though this time he was more composed. "That...that would have to be for another time, I--I believe we're almost to the Feywood. Everyone...might show up." Wow, he sounded a lot more composed in his head. He probably sounded a lot more like a nervous wreck.

As he lifted up her thigh and kissed her neck, Wesley would do it even deeper, and longer. He would even switch from both sides of her neck and even at the center of it. He would kiss more south and then to her lips, and that's when their eyes would meet. For that single moment that they looked into one another's eyes, they saw the love between them. This was more than exploring the sexual desire between the two of them. Sure, the sexual part was half of the reason, but Wesley felt more than that — he felt more for her. It was in that singular moment that Wesley realized how much he loved her. His forehead would touch hers gently and both hands would lightly grip her head, his fingers locking between her blonde ones."I love you, Nadeline." He said in a breathing whisper.
Grant was definitely flustered by what Savayna had suggested and she couldn’t blame him. For a guy such as him, what she suggested was probably something he was slightly uncomfortable doing. Regardless, Grant would say that they couldn’t do that now as everyone would probably start coming back down. She looked at him squinting her eyes. “This isn‘t over.” She simply said.

As she would sit next to him, she would place her feet on the table, arms bent behind her head and hands locked together. She would then smile a bit and then she heard footsteps coming in. She knew that foot pattern from anywhere. It was Jaakuna and Emiri. They took seats opposite of Grant and Savayna.

“Did we miss anything?” JAakuna asked.

Savayna laughed a bit. “Nothing that you need to know.” She hissed playfully.

Jaakuna groaned but let it go. “So, where’s Wesley and Nadeline?” He asked.

Savayna shrugged. “I don’t know. Last I knew they were heading to the supply room, but that was about an hour and ten minutes ago.” Savayna said.

Jaakuna placed a finger on his lips. “Maybe they ran into some trouble.” He said, “Let’s all go help them.” He suggested.

Grant let out a sigh as he stood up. "Nadeline is probably haggling poor Wesley, she can get really annoying when it comes to supplies." Emiri giggled as she joined Grant. They walked on over to the supply room, with Grant walking in first. Needless to say, the man was not very happy to see his niece and friend in a rather...steamy position. "WHAT DO YOU TWO THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" Grant immediately gripped his hair, in complete and total shock as he yelled out in despair.

His outburst was enough to snap Nadeline out of the mood. She tore her gaze away from Wesley and spotted the group at the doorway. Grant was in complete shock, much like having walked in on his own daughter doing...things...he was not happy. Nadeline let out a gasp. "Haven't you heard of knocking?!" She whined, clearly upset.

"KNOCKING?! This is the SUPPLY ROOM!" Grant shouted, flailing his arms. "Need I remind you two that you are a PRINCESS and a PRINCE, and you two are FROLICKING when we have an important journey ahead of us?!"

Nadeline scoffed. "We were just...having fun. You're the rude one for interrupting!"

"Interrupting?! INTERRUPTING?!"

"That excuse only works when you're in a bedroom." Emiri chided lightly. Oh, this was poetic justice in everything.

The blonde princess was absolutely not amused by Emiri's joke. At all. An Antidote whizzed by Grant's shoulder, nearly hitting him. He ducked as she then chucked a Potion, though Emiri was not as fortunate. It hit her right on her upper chest, exploding into what could only be described as the most painful Cure she had ever experienced. The cuts caused by the bottle were immediately healed, though they had more to worry about: Nadeline continued her barrage of throwing items at them. Emiri let out a yelp, though she tried to save the items, jumping around rather comically to save them from hitting the wall. Grant wasn't as fortunate, and Nadeline managed to nail him on the head with an X-Potion. The raven haired man fell to the floor in a daze, having been knocked out by the still intact bottle.

When the suggestion came to go help Wesley and Nadeline with the supplies, Grant made the comment that Nadeline was probably bossing Wesley around. Jaakuna laughed a bit at that as did Savayna. It would only take about five minutes until they all found themselves at the supply room where Grant was the first one to walk in and the rest followed. However, what they came to see was interesting to say the least. Wesley and Nadeline were in quite the compromising position and Grant voiced off his opinion. He yelled, Nadeline yelled back and that was just the tip of the iceberg.

When Nadeline whined about how they didn’t knock, Grant would further say that they didn’t need to knock as the room they were all in was the Supply Room. Furthermore, Grant would also remind them that they are of royalty, Wesley being a Prince and Nadeline being a Princess. Jaakuna couldn’t help but smile and Savayna was right there with him. They looked at each other and just smiling. Meanwhile, Nadleine would say that they were just having fun and call Grant rude for interrupting That prompted Emiri to say that was an excuse for when one is in the bedroom. Jaakuna looked to Emiri with a raised eyebrow.

Savayna would hear all that they were saying and she would speak. “Before you get all judgy, Grant, do remember that you were almost pleading with me to get naked in front of you.” She offered up.

Jaakuna looked to Savayna, but she would return his look with words. “Oh don’t give me that look.” She said. Jaakuna would say nothing.

When they were done with that, Wesley lightly scooted to the other side of the room as he would see Nadeline starting to throw potions upon potions at the group. It was first at Emiri, which hit her and cut her; it was weird. The bottle cut her, but the potion healed her. Next an array of supplies went flying at the group and Emiri, as best as she could, try to catch them all in a comedic fashion. Thankfully, she didn’t get hit by any of them. However, Grant was whacked straight in the head and proceeded to knock him the fuck out.

Wesley’s eyes were widened. Jaakuna’s were as well and so were Savayna’s. Jaakuna wanted to say something, but he decided against it. Instead, he would guide Emiri out, and Savayna would take Grant’s arms, and drag him out. The door would close once they were out.

Wesley grabbed his jacket and put it on, strapping it around his body. He turned his gaze to Nadeline briefly. “That could’ve been worse.” He stated.

Once they group left the room (or in Grant's case, dragged out) Nadeline let out a huff of indigence. The nerve of them! She felt her blood getting boiled, though she didn't know what angered her more: the fact that they had been interrupted or that Grant had the mind to tell her off when he was apparently asking Savayna to strip for him. Seriously! After a few deep breaths, she hopped down from the counter, fixing her skirt and letting out a sigh. Wesley was right, it could have been worse. At least they didn't see any body parts, unlike when they all got a glace of Emiri's giant melons. She shook her head, returning to the task at hand. Luckily she had been throwing Grant's share of supplies, so she knew exactly how to put them back and how many were missing.

Oh, she did forget something. She turned back to Wesley, who had sadly put his coat back on. She lightly jumped on over to him, a small smile on her face and the slightest blush on her cheeks, her hands behind her back. "I love you, too!" She told him rather happily. She then wandered on back to the supplies.

Meanwhile, back in the lounge, Emiri lightly fanned Grant, though she could not suppress her giggling. Poor Grant. She figured he'd be up soon, anyway. "Well, I think we should get ready, I'm sure we'll arrive soon." She told Jaakuna and Savayna.

In the minutes proceeding the little exposure of Nadeline and Wesley getting their funk on, the Ifrit was only about ten minutes out from The Feywood. Once it had gotten to a point where they could safely beam down, they would do as such. When they would touch down to the ground, the area was so full of mist that all of them would no doubt feel an overwhelming feeling of magick. It was what came with being around the mist and since The Feywood had such a high density of it, more so than anything else, it wasn't surprising that they would feel weird in some ways. When they all would look around, they would see reflections of themselves, but also snow. Yes, despite The Gilmore Jungle just being behind them, this was apart of the snowy regions of Ivalice and as such, snow is a given.

Jaakuna would look around for himself and he knew this would be a troubling journey. As he tried to secure his cloak to make sure it was properly tired up, he put the hood over his head. He had the same outfit on that he had when they all went to Stigma in the morning, it wasn’t like he was going to be cold or anything, but he just prepared for the worst. Savayna had on her usual blue dress with the armor and she also made sure her cloak was also secure and tight around her. She, like Jaakuna also put the hood over her blonde hair and made it to where her hair was inside it, much like what Jaakuna did. Wesley, who had his long coat on, also checked to see if his cloak was tightly secure around him.

Looking on, Jaakuna spoke. “So, where exactly in The Feywood are we?” Jaakuna asked.

Wesley looked around and he actually remembered the name of this place. “I believe it’s called Antiquity's End.” He said. “At least, I think that’s where we are.” Wesley said thinking about it. “Do you know where we are, Nadeline?” He asked her.
