[OOC] Young Justice 2021

[Omega Man]

The Justice League is getting older in 2021. While most of it's founding members are in their early to mid-forties, Superman himself still looks nearly the same he had over a decade prior. The League had gone through several incarnations over the years. There were also splinter units like the Justice League of America and the JL United, as well as the JL Dark led by none other than John Constantine. In the year 2021 however, heroic metahumans are getting to be fewer and fewer. Most alien races that don't appear to be human are often shunned by society, the now more alien Green Lantern from the planet Tandax was banned from Earth. The economy in the United States was still fighting a losing battle. Crime rates, especially metahuman crime, was up a record 120% from this time in 2010. Law Enforcement all began wearing more militaristic SWAT team style gear equipped with state of the art non-lethal AND lethal weaponry. Visually something resembling Robocop mixed with a little Judge Dredd just also packing riot gear. Some metahumans operating as heroes are not welcomed by all of the 2021 law enforcers. Only the League has been officially sanctioned by the President of the 'States: Clara Kendall. Young heroes have been 'sponsored' by the remaining members of the League to operate in Star City, the former home of the now deceased Green Arrow and one of the larger metropolitan cities with increased metahuman crime. The Young Justice program has kept many a young superhuman from going rogue. Can the young heroes take back Star City from the grips of chaos and become full fledged members of the Justice League? Take note that this will take place one year after the previous game YJ2020. Returning active characters will be that much closer to League status...

YJ 2021 Titanpad

This game is a bit of an alternate future storyline, which is something DC Comics is attempting with their Future's End crossover. The only similarity being that in my future Green Arrow is dead, same as in Future's End. Developments in the 2020 game also had Aquaman, Hawkgirl, and Bronze Tiger [posing as Deathstroke] all being killed as well as several of the dropout characters.

Having had a well-off parent, Wisteria had been enrolled in whatever prestigious school had been in the area at the time. Her mind is very analytical, and she is said to see everything as some sort of piece to a formula, making it relatively simple for her to come up with plans. Also somewhat skilled as a detective. She is knowledgeable in most mathematics and the sciences, including Biology, Physics, Advanced Chemistry, Geography, Technology, and Engineering. Currently studying Criminal Science, Forensic Sciences, Computer Sciences, and History/Mythology, her main focus is to up her hacking skills, which are lack luster at the moment.

Stealth:

Having always been one who steps lightly, stealth was a skill Wisteria picked up from years of lurking around Gotham. After receiving proper training she is able to sneak into well-secured facilities with relative ease. Always seems to move without sound, even when not in a hostile environment, and because of this she has accidentally surprised many of her friends or teammates.

Peak Human Conditioning:

- Peak Human Reflexes: Perceptive, Wisteria is always prepared for an attack from behind, though she isn't skilled enough to dodge bullets or other quick-moving projectiles.

- Peak Human Agility: Trained in parkour and acrobatics, Wisteria is nimble and light on her feet and able to leap across rooftops with ease.

- Peak Human Speed: Her most important and best skill, Wisteria is faster than most human athletes. Every single stride she takes is put to use, and it is especially notable in fights when she can dodge even the quickest punches easily.

Martial Arts:

Trained in Jujitsu, Boxing, Dim Mak, Judo, Dragon Style Kung Fu, Iaido, Aikido, and Tae Kwon Do. She is a near master at master at Kung Fu, Iaido, and Jujitsu. Relies mostly on her speed and her own ability to take another's weight and turn it against them in a fight. Her main weapon, the Jōhyō, is often implemented in most of her fights, mostly acting as a tool to reach enemies from a longer distance.

- Lacks proper defense; her only shield is the mass of feathers on her costume.
- Bad endurance; must eat and rest constantly to stay up and about.

Appearance:
Costume
Wisteria is a girl of average beauty, average height, and average appearance. She stands at about 5'6, weighing a somewhat underweight 120lbs, and has an over all athletic build. Her hair is somewhat long, reaching down passed her shoulders, and is blonde in color and rather easy to manage. She has an angular face, with fair skin, lush lips, a sharp nose, and large, gray/blue eyes. Despite being a full grown woman, she does not have much to offer in the curves department, and could easily pass as a male if she were to just put her hair up and block out her face.

Doesn't care much for makeup or dressing up, and can be found wandering around in sweats and tank tops when not on a mission. She has a strange interest in a particularly puffy-sleeved crop-top sweat jacket. Her costume consists of flexible material, with her only defense being the feathers on her back which can withstand most weapons, that is patterned and colored to resemble a tawny owl. She wears a cowl to hide her identity which also doubles as night vision goggles and a gas mask, and her gloves are equipped with retractable claws that are used for clinging to walls and scratching if necessary. She can’t fly, but the feathers on her back double as a glider for a just-in-case situation. Her utility belt is normally covered with knife slots and pouches, most filled with items like smoke pellets and anything else required for missions.

BRIEF Bio:
Born in New York and raised in Gotham, Wisteria grew up knowing that the world is full of dangers. Her mother, a supposedly widowed business woman, often warned her to stay away from most people, telling her stories of all the crime that run a muck in the darkness of the deadly streets, and Wisteria took all the stories and advice to heart. She grew up to be somewhat reserved and cynical, and if not for the sudden disappearance of her mother on her tenth birthday she might have remained that way for the rest of her life. Case after case looked for Ms. Adams, but every time they ended without even a single clue. Days, weeks, months went by, and every single time someone grew just a step closer to finding the woman, it all ended suddenly for an untold reason. Wisteria, finally fed up, began looking into the case herself.

Lurking around Gotham gave her a few leads on various criminals, but nothing about her mother. Trying to force information out of the tougher crowd would have been impossible for the now eleven year old, so she turned to training. Both her mind and her body were pushed to the limit, so much so that when she attempted to chase down a suspicious fella who was reportedly involved in many missing peoples cases Wisteria collapsed from sheer exhaustion. Three years of training left her body at near-death, bruised and battered,, and if not for a visiting Black Canary she wouldn't have made it through the night.

After resting and discussing her need to grow stronger the Canary took Wisteria under her wing. They traveled back to the Canary's home and began a healthier, yet tougher training regiment, and after a few years of intense physical and mental training Owlet was born.

Notes:
- Black Canary saw a weak, genius girl that night. Someone who could becomes stronger and smarter, just with the right help. So, naturally, she decided to mentor the girl.

- Wrote Wisteria to this song, so I guess this could be considered her theme.

- Hates her name, and hates any nicknames that can be derived from her name.

- Her mother is still missing, and she is still somewhat interested in her case.

- Her odd fascination with owls was born from watching one stalk and kill pray one dreary night camping.

[Omega Man]

Name - Kilian Darukk

Alias - Ditto

Age - 21

Personality - serious, headstrong, stubborn

Powers - heightened physical attributes and increased strength [25 tons max lift], as well as unlimited duplication, and a telepathic link to every duplicate

Weaknesses - while stronger, faster, and more durable than most humans, Ditto can still be harmed by anything an average human would be. It should be noted his t-shirt and jeans are made with a kevlar titanium wool mesh. The original Ditto also feels severe pain of his duplicates, so if one gets a broken bone or killed he'll feel it however momentarily it can sometimes lead to blackouts.

BRIEF Bio - Kilian crash landed on Earth a little over a year ago while travelling the stars, in Metropolis no less, and shortly after began moonlighting as a superhero when Superman was away. A native of the planet Cargg, Superman was familiar with Ditto's alien heritage from his experience with the Legion of Superheroes from the 30th century. After meeting the hero in costume after a run-in with Parasite, the older Superman discovered out of costume he was living in homeless shelters while one of his duplicates performed on the street for pocket change. He was sponsored by Superman for the YJ team in Star City and was quickly labeled a mischief maker and dimwit by the other young heroes. After his trip to Metropolis everything changed and Ditto was more responsible and a little stronger in terms of power.

What's Changed - During a trip back to Metropolis Ditto's #3 disappeared. Unknown to the young hero who was now just a two man team, his third duplicate was captured and experimented on by Cadmus. After cracking the Carggite genetic code and giving the duplicate the ability to duplicate as well, #3 escaped and after absorbed by the original Ditto the original gained a power upgrade. Now distant from his duplicates, Ditto is more of a leader and looks at his heightened strength and numbers as an unlimited human resource. Ditto would later stop an army of Superman clones with the ability to duplicate along with the original Man of Steel.

Notes - Ditto went a complete 180 degrees from being a class clown type to being a leader. Learning to deal with compromise and adapting to overcome. League status isn't out of his reach now and any day he could get a call to assist the League, as well as a few others in the YJ program. After a year, metahuman crime in Star City has went down 20%.

[GreenGrenade]

Name – Gabe Harlan

Alias - Hellfire

Age - 16

Sponsor - Batman

Personality – Brave, Serious, Faithful, Humorous (at times)

Powers – Solar Manipulation, can manipulate and generate solar energy- mainly uses its flame form (his flames are black), and flight. He has also been trained in martial arts.

Weaknesses – He must control his power, as mistakes may have large repercussions, on a global scale and beyond. He must also do this as if he exerts too much of his power at once, he will be weak, and may even die.

Appearance - Gabe has short black hair, swept to the right. His eyes are an emerald green colour. Since 2020, his build has become much more muscular, thanks to his active fighting against Granny alongside Fenrir.


BRIEF Bio – Born in Gotham, Gabe never knew his parents. He spent the majority of his life wandering the streets of Gotham, moving from shelter to shelter every day in search of food. At the age of 14, Gabe discovered his powers when cornered in an alley by a gang of thugs. Panicking, Gabe snapped when the first thug hit him. He unleashed a tendril of black fire at the gang, turning them into nothing but a pile of ash. Horrified at what he’d done, Gabe curled up into a ball, crying himself to sleep. Unbeknownst to Gabe, a certain superhero had seen what happened, and decided to take him in to his base of operations. Waking up in the Batcave, Gabe began his training under the tutelage of Batman, learning to use and control his power. One year later, Gabe received his own costume, and chose to call himself Hellfire.

He soon joined Young Justice, helping the team fight against foes such as Computron and Bronze Tiger posing as Deathstroke, a dramatic confrontation with the latter leaving Gabe with an almost crippling bullet wound. After a disastrous battle with an Atlantean warrior, his closest friend behind Jin, Magnus, left the team. Devastated, Gabe managed to convince Magnus to stay on the team, on the condition that he help Magnus with his own agenda. Along the way, they formed a closer bond, one which Gabe jokingly refers to as a "brolationship".

What's Changed - Gabe has now fully healed from his confrontation with the Bronze Tiger, and has learned to further control his powers with the help of experience... He and Fenrir had both embarked on a quest to take down Granny's forces, and upon coming back to Star City, had honed their abilities. However, Gabe's powers weren't the only things that improved, but also his wit. At times he deems appropriate, he may crack a joke or wisecrack, though these jokes may sometimes come off as egotistical.

Notes – Seeing Gabe's potential to being both a great hero and villain, Batman decided to take him in and cement his destiny to fight alongside the heroes of the world.

Powers and Weaknesses

Powers:
He controls general cryokinesis, much like his mentor. Of course, this can manifest itself in several different ways; for example, the simple creation and manipulation of ice and snow (but mainly ice), freezing objects/liquids, frost breath, etc.
His fighting is pretty versatile, due to the nature of his powers. He can coat himself in ice and function as a brawler, or he can skate around on top of ice paths for faster acrobatic combat. He's proficient with a single sword as well, but he doesn't carry it most of the time. His body temperature is decreased and is chilling to the touch, but this is more of a side effect than a power.
He's rather acrobatic as well, due to sliding/skating around on top of the ice he creates.

Weaknesses:
Heat: His powers weaken in proportion to heat, disappearing completely in extreme temperatures. (Shocker, right?)
Unstable Body: He needs to inject himself with a specially-made serum every 48 hours to keep himself from freezing over entirely.
Sleep: Though it isn't immediately apparent, Beck suffers from on-and-off insomnia.

Appearance

Appearance:

He stands about 5'8", weighs about 165 lbs, he's built like a gymnast (though on the leaner side). His hair is medium length, and pushed out of his face. It's a dark brown color, almost black, sometimes it's speckled with snowflakes (something that bothers him to no end), as if he'd just taken a walk in light snowfall. His face is angular and his eyes are a light blue. He's surprisingly pale, as a result of his powers, but doesn't look unhealthy.
Generally he would be considered handsome.

Off-duty, he dresses extremely casually, wearing various t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatpants.
On-duty, he wears a full-body white spandex suit, with a black zip-up hoodie (two of the three he has, the sleeves are ripped off). More often than not, the hood is up. His mask simply matches the white color of his suit, with a black shape that looks like a cross between a domino mask and Batman's symbol with really long, thin wings (see my drawing). His alternate costume is basically the same, but with the colors reversed. There isn't really any reason as to why/when he switches.

Bio

Brief Bio:
He was born to a normal family, and was an average teen. When he was about fourteen years old, he was walking home from a movie at night when several police cars went whizzing by, sirens blaring. They turned the corner in front of him, and he was overtaken by the thought of meeting a hero at the scene. He ran after the cars. Arriving at the warehouse, he heard the commotion inside, and snuck in the back. The inside was dark, but he saw everything in the moonlight from he large window above; Batman, in all his glory, locked in combat with Mr. Freeze. Beck moved closer, the battle clearing any common sense from his head. He crept out of his spot again to get into a better spot... Suddenly, darkness. A stray blast from the villain's freeze gun knocked him unconscious.

He opened his eyes; nighttime. Someone was carrying him. Beck tried to look up, and couldn't... He was cold... He closed his eyes. When he woke up, he was in an advanced hospital, the complex machinery making it look more like a lab. His parents, who were sitting in a chair beside the bed, jumped up and showered him in affection. A couple weeks later, a woman showed up at his house: Ice.

LONG Bio

Full Bio
It was a chilly September night, still light enough for one to just barely see.
This was due mostly to the light of the full moon, as the weathered street lamps
were old and dim. The area was relatively quiet for the ever-busy city,
considering it was a residential district and a little further away from the
main city buzz. A young teen was walking down the narrow sidewalk alone...

Young Beck Harrison was returning home from a movie that night. His date stood
him up, but it didn't really matter to him. He questioned the idea of dating at
fourteen years old anyway, only having agreed after a friend pressured him into
it (agreeing to quiet him). What was on his mind instead was the movie he
just saw: The Revengers, about a team of normally-solo heroes (such as Captain
Patriot, Iron Lung, and the Incredibly Gorgeous Hunk) who join together to save
the world. Beck thought it was a blatant ripoff of several real heroes, but he
couldn't help feeling awestruck anyway.

Beck had a growing fascination with superheroes. It started as a passing
interest after hearing of Batman on the news and at school, but it grew over
time into a passion. Coming from an average family, he knew he would never
achieve the feats associated with peak-human status. His plan was to join the
GCPD, like his father, dreaming that someday he'd meet, or even help, a hero
like Batman or Nightwing some day.

As he was about to turn the street corner, Beck heard police sirens blaring. He
turned around, and watched them whiz by. His head still full with his dreams, he
ran after the cars. Luckily, the quiet of the night was useful in tracking the
cars when they disappeared. The cars stopped outside a warehouse on the nearby
pier. Beck looked at the entrance; it was swarmed with police, yet he didn't
hear any gunshots, only a few loud crashes from inside.

This was a warehouse that Beck walked by every day to and from school, and he
happened to know of a certain broken window in the back. He promptly snuck
around to the back, and hoisted himself through the window; it was a good thing
he worked out every day with the track team. The inside of the warehouse was
even colder than the outside. He zipped up his hoodie, which was appropriately
black, and pulled the hood up.

Moonlight filtered trough the large industrial windows of the
warehouse, the shelving and boxes created large shadows and hiding places. Beck
heard shouting, and a sound he couldn't quite determine. Loud buzzes, of some
sort? That's when he saw it; Batman, in all his glory, locked in combat with Mr.
Freeze! Beck did all he could to remain hidden, barely containing his
excitement.

He was watching from behind a box on a shelf, and decided to move for a better
view. He stealthily moved behind a pillar as Mr. Freeze was looking in the
opposite direction, trying to blast his nemesis with the experimental freeze
gun. Beck watched there for a few moments, but the battle soon shifted out of
his point of view. Blinded from common sense by the dreamlike scene in front of
him, he peeked out of the corner and attempted to scurry to a different
pillar...

BZZZzZzZP!

There was a flash of light, then complete darkness.

Beck awoke slowly. So cold... He tried to look at his surroundings. He
couldn't... Too cold to move. But he was moving. Who was carrying him? He barely
lifted his head up. Could it possibly... Was it really... Him?.. So very cold...
Beck couldn't keep his eyes open any longer. He drifted back into
unconsciousness.

Eight days later, Beck opened his eyes again. He was in a white room, in a
hospital bed. There were some gifts, from family and friends, on a table against
the wall opposite his bed, and an armchair in the corner. He flicked his eyes
to the right: Some extremely complex machines that looked like they belonged in
a lab, and a case of several syringes filled with a blue liquid on a table. He
flicked his eyes left: A large window, and his parents sitting on a couch. His
parents? Beck slowly turned his head to look at them.
"... Mom?.. Dad?.."

Their eyes widened, his mother's lip was trembling. Beck slowly sat up as his
parents came up to him. His mother immediately pulled him into a long embrace,
his father wrapping his arms around the two. Beck wasn't sure what to even start
to say.
"Mom, Dad... I'm... So sorry..." he said. "I just-"
"Sh. It's okay. You're okay." his mother replied.

A few weeks later...

"... And thus concludes our three-part documentary on me! Booster Gold! Join us next
w-"
Beck turned the television off. Getting up from the couch, he walked into the
kitchen and grabbed a glass from the cabinet. He filled it up in the sink, and
as he went to take a sip... Nothing. He sighed as he looked into the cup.

Just then, the doorbell rang.
"Just a sec!" Beck called. He opened the door, and had to hold onto the frame to
keep himself from staggering; it was Ice. She smiled at him.
"Hi, sweetie. It's Beck, right?.."
He nodded, silenced. She glanced down at his frozen cup, and smiled again.
"I'd like to talk with you about a few things."

1: Hm... So this is our fearless leader. Or, maybe he's that one. Wait... Him? Oh, my head...

1: The wolfman, right? Better stay on his good side, his bite's probably worse than his bark... Heh... I'm not funny.

Orbit:
1: I've heard she's rather...Detached. I hope she's doing alright.

Hellfire:
1: Black fire, huh?.. Spooky. Cool, as long as he keeps 'em away from me.

Shock:
1: I don't know much about her. I guess her powers are like Static's?

Fate:
1: Apparently he uses magic. I wonder if he uses strange spell names? "Bolts of Bedevilment! Flames of the Faltine!" Heh. No, that'd be silly.

1: Wow! I wish the live-action movies looked like this guy! Wonder if he likes pizza?.."

1: Her file was particularly impressive. I can't really do any of that. Cool costume, too...

1: They say she's half-demon... Which is shocking, really, but she wouldn't be here if that were a bad thing.

BRIEF Bio - Originally taken up by Animal Man [older Beast Boy] after her powers came to fruition her first day of culinary school, expanding her powers has really taken a toll on Veronica's school life. She is finishing up a lot more slowly than she would have preferred. Her love life is also zilch thanks to training but besides her pseudo anger, she wouldn't have it any other way. She's also ready to step out of her elder brothers shadow.
What's Changed - Veronica ended up leaving the group to hone her skills with her elder brother. Since giving up on cooking school to become a full time hero, it seems as if a piece of her has been cut away making her lash out in unexpected ways. She doesn't faint anymore when she over exerts herself but a numbness is starting to manifest. Now she's able to to lift larger amounts of weight from greater distances as well as wrap metal debris around her enemies. Her relationship with Ditto has also been strained and because of her irresponsible tendencies, they could tend to half heartedly clash.
Notes - Veronica is torn by her heavy feeling of responsibility and living up to her big bro's status in the league, more than she'd care to admit.

Brief Bio - Banished from his planet, Tintoretto was sent to Earth, light years away from his home. Tintoretto was sent on a Slider spaceship to crash land on Earth and be killed by its roaming species. Fortunately for Tintoretto, his appearance didn't seem to face those who found him. Discovered by a young group of teen heroes - as they called themselves - Brick was taken in like a refugee. Uneasy by this species, Brick at first did not warm up to his finders. He resented his acceptance of them as he learned and became accustomed to their customs, but somewhere deep inside, he was grateful they did not end his life. (Other stuff will be revealed throughout the RP hopefully.)

Notes - The Sliders are an amphibious race from planet Swaenous. Most Sliders grow rapidly into masculine creatures. Though they seem much older than they look, their physical appearance must be disregarded.

Weaknesses

Alpha Male Mentality, Arrogant, and now considers the pack largely a liability. Lack of fine digit control and inability to process complex tasks, such as driving a car or typing at a keyboard while in wolf form.

Appearance

Magnus is just under 6' tall, with broad shoulders that taper too slim hips, a wolf-lean physique that grants him great speed and strength. His hair grows wild and course, with a beard that most would call untamable. His eyes are a piercing blue that seem almost canine. His teeth look a touch to long and sharp, more animal than human.

When he transforms he becomes a 6'7" tall bipedal wolf-man. His head is large and lupine with bright, blue eyes and massive canine jaws ending in rows of sharp teeth. His shoulders are muscular but not too heavy for his frame, arms long and powerful. His legs are digitigrade and both fingers and toes have long, tough talons capable of shredding through armour plating. He also has a tufty tail, one that is constantly getting in his way, however it also helps him keep his balance. Pardoning the pun he is wolf lean without a shred of fat on his body. His entire form is covered in thick, coarse black hair. His one piece of clothing is a concession that shows he has not yet completely abandoned his humanity or his modesty, a pair of tattered grey cargo shorts that cover his manhood.

BRIEF Bio

Fittingly enough Magnus Boyle was born in Alaska, on a balmy midsummer night during a full moon in 2002. His parents were overjoyed with their lusty, new-born baby boy, However when he grew his baby inch long canines and chewed through the furniture things weren't quite as jovial. From then on it was obvious Magnus wasn't a normal boy. He never got sick, he would howl at the moon, tore his fluffy stuffed bunny into shreds with his teeth, all sorts of stuff that would be hard to justify as 'normal'. He was never violent to his family or friends but it was off-putting enough to warrant a visit to the family doctor.

They tried to keep Magnus's peculiarities a secret from the world at large, but secrets have a habit of getting found out. No one is sure were they came from but in the year 2012
several black vans were seen around the Boyles' home town. Shortly after that Magnus went missing. His parents still search to this day, but they have never found so much as a whisker of their son. Secretly he was captured by a highly classified agency with the goal of creating their own meta-powered army, led by the sinister Dr Gretta Tante. Eventually Magnus escaped, but not before they had turned him into an unrecognisable Wolfman.

Magnus 'assisted' Hawkman in taking down a League of Shadows assassin cell that was set to remove a politician from office. I say assisst, but it would be more accurate to say that the Wolf brutalised the ninja's before Hawkman stepped in, stopping Magnus from tearing the assassins limb from limb. The two fought, as heroes usually do upon first meeting, with Hawkman gaining the upper hand after a lengthy fight. The Feathered Avenger was impressed with Magnus's sheer power, but realised his savagery could become extremely destructive if left unchecked, and decided to take the pup under his wing, so to speak. Eventually Fenrir joined the original Young Justice team, taking part in the efforts against Shrapnel and Deathstroke, but left after a feeling abandoned by his team mates and a disastrous battle with an Atlantean mutant.

What's changed

Fenrir left the team after losing faith in his 'Pack', instead deciding to try and return to Alaska and reunite with his parents. Unfortunatly Grannies agents were waiting for him there, and almost managed to recapture the young meta. After this last affront Fenrir has began to wage a personal war against Granny and her forces, not surprisingly showing an aptitude for solitary warfare. He has become more aggresive in his time away, more likely to allow the Wolf to have it's way. The man he is now is not the one that left the Pack.

He has developed in power and skill, becoming stronger, faster and deadlier. Hawkman, not quite approving of this new turn of events has still netherthless resolved to train his ward to the best of his ability. As such Fenrir is a better combatant, tactician and hunter than he was before, as well as far more experienced with his heightened senses.

Mostly his war has been a shadow war, a silent game of cat and mouse between him and his prey, though some of it has spilled out into the streets, including one highly televised battle against a group of Grannie's minions named the three little pigs on the streets of New York, after which the media have dubbed him 'The Big Bad Wolf'.

Just a heads up guys, due to recent events I might not get to post for a couple of days. I'll explain it away as Fenrir showing up late to the party, as it were.

Powers - Various magical and mystical abilities, mainly shields, flight, teleportation, telekinesis, etc. He has learned more magic and has several artifacts which enhances his powers. The Amulet of Anubis enhances Phil’s natural magical power, and allows him to communicate with the previous Doctor Fate, Kent Nelson. The Gauntlets of the Four Sons provides powerful protection to Phil making him able to withstand gunfire, and enhances and shields that he makes.

Weaknesses - The Helm of Nabu is constantly trying to possess Phil. Nabu can telepathically speak to Phil if he is nearby. Although he has learned more personal magic, much of Phil’s powers rely on the enhancement of artifacts. He also has limited use in his left arm and hand due to an injury from last year.

Appearance - Phil is slim, a little bit taller than average, with dark hair and green eyes. He wears golden gauntlets, an Egyptian collar, and dark blue shirt.

BRIEF Bio - After the previous Dr. Fate's death, the Helm of Nabu chose a new user, a mere boy. When the helm chose him, Philip had just started college, studying archaeology. A very reserved person, Phil only acting when he knows the best course of action. When he can't think of an optimal action, he often freezes in indecision.

What's Changed - Although Phil started out his superhero career as an heir to the mantle of Doctor Fate, Phil no longer uses the Helm of Nabu, the source of Doctor Fate’s powers. The Helm of Nabu and its namesake spirit are still corrupted by some outside force. Leaving the team, Phil focused on his emanate battle with Nabu's corrupter. He has spent the interim collecting more magical artifacts in hopes to eventually confront and exercise Nabu’s corrupter. He has spent some time training with Justice League Dark in Europe.

Notes - Zatanna, as the only magic-user, is the natural choice for a sponsor. This does not mean it was a good choice. Thinking that there are others who deserve the helm's power more, Zatanna is perplexed and perhaps a bit jealous that the Helm of Nabu would choose Phil, not knowing the internal struggle he shoulders.

SHADOW WALK - By using her own Shadow or those around her Fumiko can enter the Shadow Realm which is a Parallel world to our own. In the Shadow Realm she can still see into our Realm and observe but not hear whatever is occurring.
She may exit then from any shadow no matter how small and the distance must be covered at no faster rate than her best movement.

ARMY OF THE NIGHT -
This is a very limited power in the physical world and require concentration to maintain.
Of course in the Shadow Realm this power is very different and powerful.

Shadow Dancer may not at this moment take anyone into the shadows but may summon those that dwell there to do her bidding; here are three main examples of those she may summon

Bodak

Bodaks were what was left of a humanoid that had been destroyed by the touch of pure evil, creatures devoid of personality or a soul, bodaks are relentless hunters, either of their own volition or at the behest of some greater power.
These beings are incredibly fast and strong (move 30 mph/lift 1,000 pnds)
Fumiko may summon only one of these creatures at a time to serve her as a bodyguard or stalker. She then may not summon another till the next new moon
Rarely does Fumiko call on these malevolent creatures due to the difficulty in controlling them.

Shadow Mastiff

These black-furred hounds dwell in the dark places of the world. They do this thanks to their innate magical power to blend into any shadows in the area. Only if the darkness is removed can the shadow mastiff be seen in all its terrifying glory.

Many claim that shadow mastiffs are the result of hounds from the natural world having lived and evolved on a realm of darkness for thousands of years. They are tireless hunters and relentlessly pursue any creature that they are set against

Fumiko may call on only three of the Dogs of night at a time and if they are destroyed in the physical world she must wait till the next New moon for them to be revived or she can send them back before they are destroyed an must wait 3 nights for them to heal

Shadow Warriors

These beings can come in detailed or blurry humanoid shapes of female forms that if examined are of the same body dimensions as their Mistress Fumiko. They are of similar strengths as she and can be created 7 at a time but if destroyed will require 3 hours per to regenerate.

High Speed Flight - (Usable only at night or in the Shadow Realm) top speed is 335 mph

INTANGABILITY - Fumiko may turn herself into a shadow and become untouchable by all but bright flashes of light like her shadow clones

Weaknesses - Fumiko sunburns easily and needs to wear dark glasses in bright light conditions or raise the hood of her tunic which is designed to shadow her face from all but direct light.

BRIEF Bio - Fumiko is the Daughter of Iga Ran an Industrialist and one time Senjuku (Cleric)
While using his gifts to seal the demon world from this one Ran encountered a Demoness named Kuroi tō or Black Tower.
Black Tower was not an evil Oni but a guardian of a holy mountain.
Kuroi tō was beautiful and powerful but she was lonely as well so she seduced Iga Ran and they became lovers who fought side by side against the evil Oni which wanted to enter our world.
Then one day Kuroi tō told Iga Ran that she was pregnant with his child and that when the child was born she would be of both worlds but that she would be safer in his for the Oni of her's would stop at nothing to destroy the child before it entered it's full power.
Iga agreed and when his child was born took her to his home and named her Fumiko which means "Child of Treasured Beauty"
His family and his retainers accepted their newest member with great joy even though they all knew who her mother was.
In the Iga Household Fumiko prospered growing into a fine young lady.
It was when she 11 years old that Fumiko discovered her powers. Her father Iga Ran helped her learn how to control her abilities and when she reached 15 introduced her to her mother Kuroi tō who through means of a sacred crystal began teaching her daughter what it meant to be a member of the Shadow clan.
When Fumiko was 17 her father was killed and his soul stolen by the Oni he had been sent to seal away after they had managed to escape.
Fumiko even though she was warned by her retainers went to the place where her father's soul had be taken and entered the demon Realm. Those cruel Oni who'd taken her father were waiting and at first seemed too powerful for her and she doomed to die there as had her father.
It was when all was darkest that Fumiko's true power as the Black Tower's daughter showed and she began to fight back becoming the "Army of Night"
She overwhelmed her enemies quickly and rescued her father's soul.
Then after the battle Fumiko returned to the shrine atop the Holy Mountain presenting her father's soul to her mother. Her mom tapped into her own life force and resurrected Fumiko's father, there was just one catch. Because her Mother is bound by her oath to protect the Holy Mountain her father containing part of that same life force must also remain there even after death.

She moved to Star City last year to oversee a ship building yard owned by Iga Industries and fell in love with the city.
She now resides in the top 3 floors of the Hilderbryant Building a huge waterfront high-rise that soars 75 stories into the sky. Her company's offices are on the 22nd an 23rd floors
