Hey, hi. Yo. What's up? Wait, no, don't answer that; I don't actually care. But hey, chin up there, buddy. Don't take it personally. I'm just an ass. To everybody. Nope, it's not just you. You actually make my day. You're beautiful. Don't let anyone tell you otherwi- Hey, there's that award-winning smile we all love. Now, why don't we sit down and you can tell me all about how you've been over a nice cup of coffee? Sounds good, right? Cool. Comfy? The seat cushions are made from silk and orphan tears. Now, how was your day? Oh, wait, that's right... I don't care.

So I'm Exodus. Call me Ex. Or Exodus. Or whatever, just don't call me late for dinner. Hah. Hahah. Hahahahah. I'm not funny.

I used to be pretty edgy myself. This is one of my old favorites.

If you believe in magic, don't bother to choose
If it's jug band music or rhythm and blues
Just go and listen, it'll start with a smile
It won't wipe off your face, no matter how hard you try

Do You Believe In Magic - The Lovin' Spoonful
Hey all, sorry I've been quiet lately. I've been dealing with some personal issues, and I'm honestly not sure if they're over yet. Much as I hate to say it, I might be kinda flaky for a bit.

I'll try to get hold of our Hunters and the rest of the GMS to get their posts in.

I think we hit a good spot. If you want to move us forward to the rave, that'd probably be fine.
Locke almost smiled underneath his mask as Alexander pulled a gun on the corpse, the humor of it only fading once he realized how Alexander was taking Elijah's teasing. Most hunters were a little jumpy and paranoid for a couple years after they start. He could remember the days when he was like that himself.

"Alright, you two. Ease up on him, would ya'? We're just waiting on information before we can do anything. Just try to be patient..."

The masked hunter stuck his hands in his jacket pockets as he gazed at the burning corpse. To say the stench wasn't pleasant would be an understatement, though it didn't bother him quite so much. After so many years, his reaction to the very distinct smell had transitioned into an unfazed familiarity. He couldn't help but wonder exactly when it was that the lines had blurred. There are many firsts in the business that haunt most hunters for the rest of their lives, and he was no different; his first decapitation was particularly gruesome, for example, but he didn't carry too much baggage from the last ten years or so. He cleared his throat as the same thought that he'd thought so many times before: nobody should have to do these things, let alone become desensitized to them. But it was better him than all of the families who were slept soundly and relatively worry-free that night, including his own.

Locke would have gone on with the line of thought for quite some time, had his phone not beeped. He pulled it out of his pocket, and scanned the text. It was from Octavius.
"I just got word of a little Vampire party. They drained a number of people dry, apparently. I have reason to suspect that some ferals might be there. If you and your friends could get here fast, it would be pretty nice for you to go in and see if there are any vampire corpses. If there are, everyone in there is either a feral, or an accomplice. They will all be worthy of execution at that point. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)"

He took a few steps closer towards the two other hunters as he started to speak
"Alright, here's what we've got..." He read the message and location aloud. "I couldn't get ahold of anyone else, so it looks like it'll just be us for the time being. Sooo... Let's go crash a party."
@Valor

You're good to go now, thanks for fixing that up. Sorry I didn't respond sooner. A hunter's biggest weakness is that we still need sleep. :P
@Valor

Haha, I'm glad you brought the silver bullets up, because it was something I was going to address. So after some further discussion, we've decided that a Desert Eagle really isn't practical. Too costly and too high-profile for a hunter to really get away with. So if you switch that up we can take another look at what you've got. :)

On a side note, we've also decided that fully-automatic weapons and extended mags are out of the question.
Hi all. I'm the resident hunting expert, sorry I haven't spoken up yet. I've posted my character, Trenton, in the characters tab, but I'll throw him here too. Don't judge it for being 'too simple,' he's more fleshed out than it makes him seem.

Name:
Trenton "Locke" Wist

Species:
Human, Hunter

Age:
39

Appearance:
An almost scruffy-looking man, with stubble and thick, dark hair. White skin, a little tanned, blue-grey eyes. He dresses more professionally for work, but for hunting and leisure he's a big fan of jeans, t-shirts, flannels, and military/utility jackets.
If you really need a visual aid, here's a picture of Hugh Jackman that hits pretty close.

Personality:
He's a professional, through and through, and sees all missions through to their end. Gruff, but approachable, and with fatherly intincts. He's known to be pretty open-minded, but he obviously wouldn't trust any vampires as far as he could throw them, at least without several silver weapons on his person.

Equipment:
He's an experienced hunter with steady income, so he's well equipped. This is his standard loadout, though he's got more stored.
- Silver-coated hatchet
- Silver-coated kukri
- Beretta 92, standard and silver-tips carried.
- Either shotgun or hunting rifle, 12 guage silver-loaded shells or .308 silver-tipped Winchesters
- A smartphone for real life, and several dumbphones for hunting work

Background:
Trent has been on the force for a long time. He's seen a lot, but won't ever forget the night he met his first vampire. What seemed like a standard alleyway mugging on one of his first nights turned into a man screaming as his neck was bit into like a grapefruit. Trent himself would have died that night had a hunter not been there to stop the creature. The hunter explained the truth about vampires, and Trent took up the hunt as what he figured to be a natural next step in defending citizens. Fast forward 20 years, and he's the leading detective for the department, and a highly respected hunter. So highly respected, in fact, that he's come to be the de-facto leader of the local hunting community under the code-name (to remain anonymous in the 'real world' but still have a presence in the hunting world) 'Locke.'

Extra:
- Has a family. A loving wife, Julie, and a young son, Ben.
- His job provides him with good cover and a steady stream of cash.
- He wears a silver chain around the neck, and has his family do the same (though he won't explain why).
Yo. Sorry, I'm still alive. Basically what happened was I was called last-minute to work at a summer camp for a week. And then I came back for a second, then third, and now I'm going back for a fourth. Mostly just to continue the opportunity of escaping my life and stalling facing my problems, to be completely honest. This is the last week I can do it, though, so that's that. I'll be back soon.
Yeah. Uhm. The reason I haven't been able to post was because I've been volunteering at a summer camp. And honestly, it's kind of my way of just running away from my normal life because of stuff I don't want to deal with. But I'm going to milk that opportunity for as long as possible, which is one more week at the most. Sorry guys.
Hey guys. Something came up, and it pretty much means I can't post for 2 weeks. I'm really sorry.
