I see no problem with this but then again, I can't post due to me being the last to do so. :P

Since NIghtwing seems to be working on something, I think we should at least wait for that, but the reason I mentioned that I had nothing was that there was a possibility that this is the case for others as well. So I think making this a short round would be good.

I agree, I only realized the situation I put us in after posting a day or so later. The next scene, it would be beneficial if everyone congregated back at the inn, so that we can receive our "reward" from Matthias. Now, there is something I haven't thought out yet, what does everyone want to do after that?

Do we rest until the late afternoon, and head out for Grovett Pass? Some collabs amongst everyone could help our characters become more acquainted with the newer members of the group, unless some find this pointless. But then, I figured we'd set out with the intentions to make camp later in the evening.

Do we stay the night in the inn? I really see no reason why we would need to do this, unless someone wants to suggest any ideas.

Or do we set out right after receiving our reward? I'm sure that would really piss Zal off, lol. With the lack of sleep and what not, he's had enough, poor fellow. Crying sparrows, tree ents, bandits, and a bad headache. However, it is still an option for us. We would still have the intentions to make camp at nightfall, and our goal would be to head to the Pass.

Ideas, suggestions, thoughts?

I'll likely have Angel go back to petting Sid as she didn't help and wouldn't know IC about the reward. XD

Either sleeping choice, later or now, works for me though it might be best to get it done sooner. Namely because it allows interaction for those not tired while enabling me to easily intro Merthias to everyone and reveal a few things a rather then doing it on the road. Namely since not everyone might be heading to Cherod of their own like Angel.

Yeah, I hadn't thought of that. Angel, Orion and De don't really have an IC reason to join the quest. That probably needs sorting out before we leave.

That's one of the reasons I have Angel heading to Cherod in the first place so she would at least have reason to travel with and as she got to know them she would grow attached to their company.

I could probably cobble a post, but to be perfectly honest, Zal's just gonna go 'Thanks', shake his head at Sid, and then go to sleep.

He could not care less about the new comers as long as they aren't trying to kill anyone.

Sorry it's taking so long guys, I just got caught up in working 2 jobs at the moment, I plan on having a post up by tomorrow night by the latest, if not sooner.

And I've been thinking...would restarting be an option that some of you would want to consider if we can't get this back up and running?

Seeing as we didn't do much, I wouldn't oppose it if this failed to restart.

Some of the pros of a restart is properly introducing the other newer players and maybe even make it possible to create back stories and connections. For example, any of others within the Dark Forest region of the rp are far game for Angel to know. Even possibly know about her curse as well which might help in the long run when/if Anjiru gets released and sicked on some big baddie.

Not to mention, some pasts could be rehashed to melt with others. Like Orion and Rhaedin could end up knowing each other due to both having references to having interacted with Elven Scholars/nobility in a way. Maybe Elrithian and Merthias could've been friends before Merthias became an owl due to his attempt to seek a way to cure Angel's curse, even possible is Elrithian's father and Angel's could've known each other since they were both druids. There's many opportunities with a restart to draw connection and have a united goal in mind, with various reasons for them to do it.

Feels a little like there'd be a bunch of stuff we'd have to do again if we restart, but the more I think about it, the better it sounds. There is not that much character developement that would be lost anyway, at least not for my guys.

If we do a restart, I don't think I'll start it off the same. It was a slow beginning. Unless you guys are cool with restarting in Kvechuk, although I think it might be redundant for the older players. I think an attack on a southern Angard village near Grovett Pass from the Cherods would be an exciting place to start. There's more opportunities for back-stories to be created here.

I'm good with whatever you think is best though I might revamp Angel and tie her to a few of the PCs, if no one has any problems with it?
