Achieving fluidity is hard, and that is why I'm attached to this roleplay so much. And I am very happy that you joined us here in our family. I guess that's what we are, a family. We all work together to make something beautiful, each of us contributes something, whether it is additional information about Aerusya, or whether it's doing a collab, we all help out. And by helping out, we in return, receive the feeling of belonging. It's a good feeling to have.

So, I've been thinking about my next post, and I'm a little stumped. I have a lot of good ideas floating around in my head, but I'm not sure which would be the best choice for us. Now that everyone is pretty much engaged in combat, asides from Elrithian, Narcia, and Tathein, what happens next?

I think before I can make that decision, Tzarima, I'm going to need you to post before I can determine what happens next. Elrithian is responsible for the chaos, so how does he end it? I need some other information before I can even start to write my next response.

Im not wondering if I could post a DE post sorta swinging his battle axe around to kinda give everyone something to post off of? take out a few bandits here and there? Of course, once DE see's the illusion creature he'll try to attack it which could ruin it... what do you guys think?

Well, Narcia's hands are literally tied at the moment. =P

She did trip a guy that was making a run toward De and Orion, but she's not gonna be able to do much beyond that until the rope's gone. I guess she could change sound to make a bandit have a major headache or something, but beyond that, she's not doing anything till someone breaks that rope.

My next post is in progress and I'll make sure to have it up this weekend. Macabre, if it was a question in need of an answer, Elrithian will drop the illusion as soon as the initial suprise is over (it is a complicated and tireing spell, after all) and instead aim to cast shields and the like on those who risk being clubbed in the head by bandits.

And I really like this RP as well, I'm really glad I dared out of the 1x1 scene and stumbled into this^^

Alright then, well after Tzarima gets her post up, I'll see what I can get Orion to do. He should be able to go over and cut the ropes that are trapping Narcia, and hopefully some of the other hostages as well. We're down to about eight bandits, right?

Beasts of Aerusya

So, I counted 13 images, I think that's right. What do we got for ideas? Names, origin, etc? Which ones do we like the most?

These are my top three favorites.

Would you mind if I helped with the beast list?

If so, would I be able to include sub-class beasts that don't have to attack necessarily, but help at times?
I just find this really cool.

As for the first image you liked Macabre, I immediately thought of an almost mermaid like tale for them. They lure strong men in with their voices, singing at tunes that would hypnotize them, though would not affect women. The trance-like spell would hide their true appearance to the men, letting the men invision whomever they want. Only when they go in for the kill, stopping their songs would the men break from the vice-like trance. By then, it would be too late.
I think that these witch-like beings would definitely live in dark forest, or near swampy areas. As for their name, it would have to be majestic, yet powerful. A mirror to them.

Hey yeah! Any one can create a monster as long as they submit here first, once approved, you can post it in the reference sheet!

And yes, sub-classes would be very helpful. Even if the beast your creating is a mountain cat of some kind, it would still be beneficial to the roleplay.

I also like the idea of a mermaid-like creature, but she has wings in this one. So this is what I had in mind: a Sea Harpy. They live along the coastlines in cliff faces where they build their nests, and they are notorious for attacking ships, eating the sailors, and hoarding loot. The Sea Harpies would have some magical capabilities, but nothing over-powering, although they would be dangerous in hand-to-hand combat.

Awesome, it'll be downright terrifying to go in combat against them, but quite an experience. I like it.

Hey, I just saw your thing for the Stone-Pelted Lynx, what did you have in mind for that? It sounds really interesting!

I wanted the lynx to be a sort of beast that wasn't renowned for attacking travelers, an animal that would provide a bit of relief when seen. I was hoping they could be a bit of help to those passing by. Considering the other animals and beasts are rather deadly looking and dangerous. However, I'm not too certain as to where I could take that idea.

I was thinking about the breed of cat being located mostly near the three fanged river, hiding in the rocks, blending in because of their pelts. I just can't seem to really come up with anything good as of now.
