I'd think if you're not paired with a Master, your Servant just wouldn't get summoned until you get one. As in, you pair up in here, and then the Master does the summoning ICly. Gnar may have different plans though.

Not true, to be honest.

There are currently 8 servants, not counting players who have two Servants, and 6 Masters with another on the way from my knowledge, which makes 7 masters. Meaning, we only need one more Master for everyone to have at least have one partner.

Just to note, Unknown Beast is technically capable of going completely autonomous after being summoned. So that's one Servant who doesn't need to be paired up.

Age: A ripe old 36 years

Nationality: 'Murican.

Appearance:

Personality: A serious individual with a cynical sense of humor, each one of Todd's moves is calculated with an expected reaction in mind. He's the kind of guy who always has a plan, and gets very worked up when things go awry.

Weapons:
"Marchen" Family Magecraft: A subset of Earth Magecraft that utilizes specially prepared metal. The process to make said substance takes nearly three to four days for a single gallon of the liquid. When utilized in combat, the substance can be given a single order by the mage to perform a task. The power and complexity of the task exponentially increase with the more liquid used. After said order, the liquid metal is expended, unable to be used again for something else.

As an absolute last resort, Todd carries a five-shot, snub-nosed revolver of unknown make. It's quite powerful, but inaccurate and useless at range.

Abilities: Earth Magecraft, Witchcraft

History/Background: Currently disowned first son of a distinguished magus lineage, Todd's been around the world for years, working as a freelance mage-for-hire. His most recent task required his services in the upcoming grail war for a substantial sum of money. After being told of the risks, he accepted without a second thought, already planning his way out of the contract that he'd taken with his employer.

Assets: Fourteen gallons of the carefully prepared metallic substance that he uses in his true magecraft, along with several dozen assorted artifacts that he uses in the variety of curses that he's picked up over the years. Other assets include his sponsor's money and several dozen of the revolver's cartridges.

Alrighty folks! I decided that I will post up the opening post later today in a few hours, since we do have almost enough Masters for everyone to start playing in the RP as pairs. If absolutely necessary, I will force myself to play as a master, even though I can be a biiiiiit slow with keeping up with so many things at once.

Anyway! Start pairing up people, for the Holy Grail War shall be starting soon!

Also, as a side note, we all know Kalameet is the best girl here with his stylish and fabulous outfit of fabulous-ness-is-es...er...uh... YOU GET WHAT I MEAN. HE BE DELICIOUSNESS.

Outfits: A free man, Gardener chooses to wear relatively loose and open clothing (or whatever his Master would wish of him) with a slight preference to loose white shirts.

Personality: In a few words, the Gardener is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. There's this pleasant, almost enlightened feeling he radiates from himself, approaching human beings as if they were his children. Calm, quiet, slow to anger but quick to befriend, you'd have to be a very special kind of awful to earn his ire. He has a particular disliking of violence, but he is by no means a pacifist - he learned long ago that combat is necessary at times.

Rider (A+): Creatures on the level of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast can be used as mounts.

Magic Resistance (B): Cancel spells up to Three-Verse Arias. It is possible to lessen the effects of High Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals to a degree.

Personal Skills:

Culture Hero (A+): Lets just say that as part of the Gardener's legend, he did a lot for human culture. The Gardener is able to grant any human he favours with a laying of his palm upon the forehead with up to three non-unique knowledge- or -technique-based skills at Rank B, although they cannot be skills which themselves emulate multiple skills.

Librarian of Stored Knowledge (A+): The Gardener has access to vast tomes of knowledge and wisdom within his head. With the most trivial of Luck checks The Gardener is able to draw upon high-level knowledge of almost any branch of life.

Voyager of the Storm (EX): The Gardener knows his way around a boat, that's for sure. Grants the equivalent benefits of high level Charisma, Riding and Military Tactics skills to do with naval aspects.
