I certainly am not the GM and thus take my words with some modicum of hesitation. Assuming a target number of 10 + the guards' perception skill + wisdom bonus I would assume that's a failure.

The big question is how are the guards going to react to the failed attempt :)

I'm also uncertain if one should post the attempt to hide the object before letting our GM resolve the action or if we just post the die rolls in the OOC without writing the character making the attempt. *ponders*

We asked about a bit and think we figured the mechanics out. Correct us if we're wrong.

We rolled one D20, got a 16. With a modifier of +7 from skill, that becomes 23.
Anything missing from the sleight of hand check?

Just make a normal sleight of hand check. There is no failure, in that the guards will not beat the crap out of you. However, you may not get anything in the door (or have anything to get through). For example, a 6 isn't really good enough to get any supplies. On the other hand, a 23 could get some rather useful supplies into a cell.

Correct on both accounts for the Pathfinder default setting.

We weren't 100% sure about that. And we're not sure what exactly we can have her sneak past those guards.

So due to some stuff shifting around on my end, I'm not going to be available to post during the day anymore- no more wicked fast reply times, just morning and evening.

Okay. That's fine, Primal.

Some things that you could get past the guards would be a small dagger or a lockpick. Clerics could try to get a small, secondary holy symbol, but it shouldn't to hard to carve one if you can't get it through. Spellcasters could also try to get a scroll through. Small stuff like that. The DC to get anything through is 14. For every 5 by which you pass the DC you can get another small object through. So Omega wouldn't have gotten anything through. Creativity is useful. If you want to get anything through that I haven't listed, just post what you want to hide.

Unfortunately, Ellri either didn't roll in the right room or something happened to his Sleight of hand roll, and I'm going to have to ask him to roll it again because it's not showing up in the log.

Now we rerolled. Not as good a roll, but nothing to do about that.

this time it was a 9, +7 skill modifier = 16, so that should equal one and 2/5th of an object. Since we can't exactly find much use for 2/5ths of an object, that probably equals one object.

Oh, and one thing... Where are the manacles attached? One leg? one wrist? both wrists? both legs? Neck? Waist? Multiple of those?
Its kinda necessary to know, considering that its somewhat challenging to change clothes if you can't pull them beyond your wrists/ankles/whatevers?

I'm waiting for the others to post before advancing you guys farther into the story. I want to try to get 4-5 posts in between mine when possible so that "most" of the group is able to affect the story before it progresses.

Also, what's with all those other rolls Primal? Another failed attempt to talk? :P
