The beam shifts across the sky and cuts successfully through a number of gunships before a massive magnetic slug rockets through it at a speed totally transparent to the naked eye, totally evaporating its head as it collapses. Moments later, a thunderous boom is heard from across the skies sourcing from the flagship still in orbit. It periodically lets off more and more of the same shots, though presumably toward other targets, as the smaller bodies seem to pour over the corpse of the behemoth half-lodged in the rift in a parade of never ending bodies*

*Under the supporting cover of the soldiers, any Kalsimer charging my way get mowed down as the beams are continuously bent backwards, taking their time in vaporizing other bugs before their trajectories become totally inverted, cleaving the beetles in two with their own attack where they stood. They collapse where they stand and, after a not-insignificant amount more aerial forces come through the tear, it closes itself, tearing the bodies of the titans in half once more where they fell*
