Nearly. The elements in question were not jobs but rather powers, but close enough.

I disagree. I do not believe that what you described is similar to Ridge's fiction by any means. A role dependent on elements is purely illogical.

It isn't. To phrase it in the words of my sister, "Equines are so out of style."

Equines? Uhh, the only equines I know of, where I live, are the ones that we ride. Far as I remember, human are the main population. Of course there are the subspecies. Like Wyverians, The Ancient Ones, The Spartonyx, and the Fayries. Be careful, they may seem helpless, but they are vicious and diabolical beings.

Upon further review of what Ridge said, it is. Very illogical. There are numerous elements that would have no use at all. Thus, it is similar in mechanics: Each being of the race was born with a particular power relevant to a particular job which they continued to do for their lifetime.

I doubt that I require any caution above normal levels.

A lack of danger does not equal pleasure.

But it's one less thing that you had to worry about, therefore allowing more time for you to do other things.

Oh. Sorry. Didn't mean to bump into you. My fault.

Hello!

Actually, the very last and oldest race to suddenly return was exactly like that.

See? I know what time talking about.

The primary error that captured my attention, so to speak, was the fact that the theoretical world does not take compounds into account.

Removing yourself from a dangerous situation does indeed help. However, I do believe that it would do you well to reexamine the situation behind his agreement.

No, you do not. A society based on jobs based on specific atomic elements would be absurd and impractical.

And you're telling me that you've never heard of absurd and impractical societies?

The society would die quickly. It would ignore essential things like electricity and health and things like carbon would be far too broad a subject matter.

A dead society was still a society.

Even communism is quite a bit more logical than your proposed "elemental society."
