Traditionally, performances take place in a quiet concert hall, and not a crowded, loud stadium. In addition, the acoustics surrounding the performance stage and beyond would be utterly horrid.

-Maddie- And as far as I know, concert halls are designed to amplify the sound and for the acoustics! This is terrible for that! There would be practically no reverb that makes concerts concerts! How is this possibly working?

Not particularly. Though I haven't measured the proportions to test whether or not it creates a reverberation effect similar to Greek Theatre. Though that would be entirely inefficient.
