<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
Yeah. I do.
*my smile gets wider*
You must be Abby.
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
Yeah. I do.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Sinon: You're getting better.
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
True enough.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
*my smile gets wider*
You must be Abby.
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
How do you know my name?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
I have my ways.
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
Which are?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Dimensional powers and such.
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
That sure tells me a lot.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
It does! The radius of my knowledge is vast. But I'm just giving ya the bare bones of it.
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
You sound like a bonefied expert.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Haha! I like ya. Very humerus.
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
I can only marrowly scrape some of these by.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
I'm sure it issomwhat mandible
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
Anybody else could pull them off better.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
I was going to make a chemistry joke, but I wouldn't get a reaction.
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
Water you doing? I thought we were on bones.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
Sure!
*takes one and does the same*
My father and I are pretty much our own species with a problem like that as well. Blood flows through our bodies extremely fast, giving us plenty of oxygen when we need it. Other than that, energy is usually burned greatly. That is why I have a giant meat locker and I live on a planet that has lots of different sized beasts.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
We were, but this cold was giving me a femur.
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
I've got nothing.
<Snipped quote by Spiritblitz>
Really? That's pretty cool. *Finishes the stick and starts on another* I'd recommend not eating that too fast, there's enough carbs and material in it to kill most things. Anyway, you gave your story, I guess I should give mine, eh?
*Finishes the stick again and starts another* You saw what my species actually looks like when you were fighting me. There are... I dunno, a few trillion of us? Given our size, I'm pretty small for one, by the way, it's not surprising that our planet is the size of most stars. How it formed and continues to sustain itself under it's own gravity, I don't know. Anyway, despite all the other life there, the vast majority lives underwater. We're not exactly built for swimming, you know? Tentacles get in the way. So we're stuck with eating land animals and some vegetation. We're really good at storing material and energy, which is good since we'd starve to death if we weren't able to store a few dozen times our own body mass.
*Starts on another stick and holds out a red gem* For example, this little thing is a part of my body I removed to keep my personal mass at good levels. *Points to metal around the gem* That's something a friend made for me. It keeps it from getting too heavy by adjusting the gravity around it. Right now, it's got... I dunno, six thousand years worth of material and energy? For an omayun, that is. Back home, I was starved to nothing. You've got no idea how pathetic we look starved. Most of us take to just staying still for most of our lives, since moving just wastes energy.
*Starts another stick* With as many species as there are for us to potentially eat, most are too small to be worth catching and eating. Our main prey is about half our average size, but they breed really slowly. We can't hunt them normally, or we'd wipe them out and die from starvation. So we just gorge ourselves every couple decades when they get a high enough population, then try to stay still until the next time. Some idiots tried to farm edible plants, but it takes a lot more energy to raise them than they give back when we eat them. Normally a situation like that would drive us to cannibalism, but we have this stupid excretion in our cells that makes it pretty much impossible for us to digest each other. It's what lets us change our form. Most of us can change into any creature we've eaten, but I'm stuck with just this one extra form. Which would be great if we didn't still use the same amount of energy and material regardless of our form. That excretion is why we just toss corpses into the water where there are some animals that can break down the cells, then we sometimes catch some of those and eat them in return. Circle of life and all that.
*Finishes the stick and starts a fifth* So having lived like that for longer than I care to remember, and starving further since I can't stand staying still and I'm small enough that it was hard for me to catch them in the first place, and bigger assholes would gang up to steal my kills before I could get enough off them. So first chance I got, I left. Luckily the guy who helped me leave was some sort of genius or something, 'cause he made me able to separate my stored stuff and have it not implode from mass. He's also the one who made these. *Holds the box of pocky up*
Well, shit. Sorry for rambling like that. I guess I could've cut that down quite a bit, huh?
