I can't really do magic. But i can hold it and transfer it. I have a second stage ability that acts like a virus. But it also drains the life force of everything. Magic cirlcles don't allpy to me if it is an are of effect type of magic as well.

-Ruby- That's its purpose. It locks down reality to what reality is supposed to be. He'd be able to generate new memories, but in theory, he wouldn't be able to pull memories back from the future because they're not supposed to be there yet.

Sounds like it would work, though we may need multiple's of it to cast on the check point he brings forward.
Otherwise the effect would disappear with his current body.
