While all normal Scribes work simply by layering reality theoretically, Tamerlaine as the Framer can accomplish something much greater--she can directly change reality. She does this by separating parts of dimensions into subsets, and then changing the laws of those subsets, manipulating the very code of reality itself instead of just layering a different arrangement. In the culmination of what we call Realmatic Theory, she keeps both dimensions stable with mechanisms to "translate" everything which moves between the two.

Someone with a strong enough Commandment at their disposal can directly block and cancel out the reality bending of another Covenant member with the same Commandment. That is, as long as they're not part of the same generation. That's why Seth and the other Master Scribes can't do it.

Close. That you have a single Commandment technically doesn't matter--if someone had three strong Commandments, they could theoretically cancel out three others. And those who do the cancelling are cancelled themselves. The situation would be again impossible if I didn't have the Realmatic properties of a Framer--Tamerlaine as a Framer has the highest priority against other Generations, but because I'm a Framer as well, I can transfer those Realmatic properties to the rest of you. That way, our priorities cancel out. Sorry if that was confusing.

First, we are to be infused with the Realmatic knowledge and properties required for our Commandments, and then we'll be provided with the ability to use our existing magic power Realmatically. This is the only way to cancel her out. The Realmatic properties of two different Generations, if brought into opposition, immediately cancel each other out. Once we start, the only way Tamerlaine can stop it is to kill us--but because she will be left only with her immense magical pool, and we all will still have our normal powers besides the Commandments, we'll just have to beat her like a normal villain and not get killed. Judging by your track record so far, then you have a chance to do that.

We have to be trained by the Master Scribe for each Commandment. However, they each have a special test that anyone what wants to use their Commandment must pass, with one guideline that acts as the ultimate theme behind the test. In addition, I have no idea where any of these tests are, so our first step is to find them. Somehow.
