Nul zones are basically areas where energy and life-force is absorbed from anything that steps or wanders inside. It will take only a certain amout, depending on the strenghth of the zone. If a normal fireball is sent through a nul zone, it's size will be reduced even after is leaves it, and any enchantments on objects will be weakened until they leave the zone. However I'm the only one exempt from those effects, as the energy and life-force taken is stored by the nul zone and sent to me when i need it. The only effect I'm not exempt from is the inversion of light within it, as it's the only thing that tells you where it is. I have yet to find a way to make allies exempt from the effects or to make it possible to draw energy from nul zones in a different dimension. I can also equip a nul zone as a kind of armor. Anything else you want to know about nul zones?

The Dark Zone is a dimension where everything and anything is against you. I mean, it is like that here, but the chances are slim. There, however, it shows. You'd have to have lots of luck and endurance as well as resilience to all kinds of damage to survive there alone. I've seen a small dog and a large bear fight and the dog one because the bear was crushed by a boulder that came out of nowhere. You don't win in this dimension, you survive. The force that is causing this chaos is the Void. It is harder to explain because you just capture the force. It is there. Though, I have seen it make beings go into a frenzy and they gain loads of strength with the cost of their mind. There also Void Spawn. Different size creatures who are immune to the Void. And thus are very dangerous. Void Walkers are of group of beings who try to help people survive the Dark Zone. Some are immune to the Void while others have resistances. How to get them is unknown to me.
