I'm sure there's some philosophy out there that says that people will cross paths with each other when they're supposed to or some other metaphysical junk like that.

Is philosophy actually credible though?

*Shrugs*
Probably not, but that sounds like something a philosopher would be able to tell you.

I dunno if they would, assuming they even could. No one says to someone in conversation that they just aren't credible.

Maybe a philosopher would because they want to be philosophical?

Their jobs- well, "jobs", would be more important than being philosophical. No amount of philosophy changes basic human needs.

By admitting to lacking credibility? I dunno if it would work that way.

What if there are only needs because philosophers say we do? Isn't there a triangle or something about those?

It's not really a philosophy thing. That's just biology and psychology.

It's good for morale. I've spent long enough prattling. Let's get to the good stuff. *Turns Aron around to look out at the jungle around us and throws out an arm* Look! And listen.
*Enormous trees stand tall for miles around, together forming a thick, massive canopy; every tree has buildings, platforms, and holes from top to bottom, bustling with people. Besides the noises of hundreds of animals, people whoop as they swing from vine to vine and conversation fills the air*

*Watches the base of some of the vines that people are swinging on*

I don't see many places like this. Most civilizations trade this for technological luxury. Which is fine, but balancing the two should be more important than it is.
