Unless they overreact.
Thaaaat is more complicated, yeah.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
Unless they overreact.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Thaaaat is more complicated, yeah.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
Does that happen to you?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
I can't say that it does. You?
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
More than I'd like.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Sorry to hear that. I suppose those are the kinds of mistakes that we learn from though.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
I guess so. Some people are just hard to talk to.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Ha. You certainly don't need to explain that to me.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
You're not like that, though.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Thank you! I'd hope so. I used to make my living by talking.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
Really? What did you do?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
A looong time ago, I was payed to speak to government leaders across the world about technological advances that could help their militaries. Things like improving medical equipment for use on the battlefield, as well as vehicles and repair equipment. Those kinds of things. I also did research in the medical side of that.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
You were a doctor?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Kiiind of. I didn't actually do treatments for people, but I can and have. I just did research and development on making on-the-fly medical services more effective and stuff.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
Like what?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Enhanced cellular regeneration, portable medical stasis pods, treatments for biochemical weaponry. A bunch of different things.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
That sounds really advanced.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Pretty advanced. That stuff was at the pinnacle of medical research last time I was there.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
That sounds like you could get completely rid of death with it.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
That is a good thought, but sadly not. Back then, we could only get so far with pushing the limitations of the body.
