No, not the ability to travel specifically, but what if they are too in shock to realize what just happened, or any situation where they wouldn't be able to call upon their power again due to lack of knowledge? In fact, I'd wager a lot of times that it wouldn't register that interuniversal travel is what occurred, in the cases where they weren't aiming for it.
