As for you... I don’t think we need to have some words with your government after all. I feel as though I’ve learned enough to say that no one here was to blame for what happened. I misjudged the scenario initially.

*Interrupts before Plus speaks*
Thanks! I think what Plus was getting at was asking how they would be able to understand what our signal means if they don't know how to decode it. How would they tell the difference between distress and something less problematic?
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
Mierno: *nods in response*
Would you also like some coffee?
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
Yeah, thanks!
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
*Looks back to the door*
... Yes, sure. I could use a break, thanks. Should help me keep my head in the game when I get back out there!
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
Mierno: *pours a third cup for you*
So, uh, got a favor to ask of you.
*hands you your cup of Coffee*
Could we keep our findings of this event, uh, 'top secret'? As in not speak of it around those who werent present other than trusted parties that we all agree on? Itd be a headache if word got out about this thing sirh the EDB, especially right after The Great War....
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
*Scratches my head*
Would you try and contact for something that isn’t a problem?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
*makes some for you as well*
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
No, no. A signal is a signal no matter what. How do you know what kind of signal we send is an SOS versus a regular signal?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
The contents of the broadcast, of course.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
How do you know our encoding mechanism is what she means.
<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>
*Takes it and drinks almost all of it in the time you take explaing this to me*
Firstly, thank you very much. Secondly, I’m always for not causing mass panic amongst the people, so I’m more than happy to agree to that, pending a decision on who I can tell. I have some friends in the business as well who might benefit from knowing about this, should dealing with that villain become a burden that they must bear at some point.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
Mierno: ...uh, well, as long as it stays within a small group, it should be fine. If the public finds out about beings like what we saw and like Techi here, that would be a problem. A big, big problem.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
... So you guys encrypt distress messages?
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
Not encrypted, encoded. All forms of communication have to follow some sort of code.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
Well, then you’ve lost me. I’m not all too familiar with the science or technicality behind these things.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
*Shrugs*
We'll get that figured out. Thanks for your help!
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
*Shrugs*
We'll get that figured out. Thanks for your help!
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
No problem, but I will say this: I can end all potential confusion and problems by just giving you all a line to me. I have some coworkers who help me by performing favors, helping me out on the techical side of things. Behind the scenes stuff. I can have them come here- and they’ll be completely out of your way, seeing how big this place is- and I can have them install a communicator designed to reach Blue Moon, yours truly.
