Taking in realities like yours for the vast energy they contain, for beings of my race, was a natural ability that we used to only use when desperate. That much is still true, but it’s been needed now more than ever, and I just happen to be the one carrying out the deed.

I admit, it’s because we were far weaker than our adversaries. And I do wish my people could have tried diplomacy with the other side, but they’re too busy with slave duties to even try. I slip away just barely enough to begin gathering power and drafting promising beings from realities like yours.
