i have full control of the souls, for i have millions of them within me. anyone i kill and have had a drop of their blood, their soul becomes mine to use. i connected this sword to my "soul pool", as i call it. its partially why i am immortal. and i can improve my swords power by the ammount of souls i put into it. if i were to go full power, who knows what whould happen.
