You guys realize that when compounds needed to be worked on, they wouldn't be forced to not do anything with it by law. Theoretically, it would create joint efforts between departments.
The theory doesn't make sense though.

Why's that? I'm not saying the society would be any good, it's just that the compound thing wouldn't be a reason why it'd be bad. For example, things done with water would involve Hydrogen and Oxygen workers.

I'm not trying to insult your or anything, but I just don't see how it would work. All that includes is resource gathering, which lacks education, infrastructure, government, etc. Carbon would be much too large, while others, such as Francium, would be much too small. It's like basing a society off of simple machines.

Spanish ancestry maybe? They call me Head. :P

YEA!!!Haha, it wouldnt make sense.

Carbon would have lots of workers and probably subdivisions. Easy. Also, education, infrastructure, healthcare and etcetera could all be considered public service departments, which I mentioned. And I mentioned government as an exception.

Head?Why?

You'd have to have an exception regarding all non-resource collectors. And if you change it so their job only has to contain their assigned element, then it would be virtually no different than today's society, except with more confusion. Because Spirit needs his memories of us =,(

How would farming be classified? That wouldn't work in any scenario.

More confusion for a society not adapted to those traditions. I'm telling you, it could work. Not for really long times, but it could work nonetheless.

Our coach asked me what my GPA was once, and since then they tease me for being smart.Government. A lot of times, farmers have gotten subsidiaries anyways. Why not have government funded agriculture?
Legend said
I'm sorry, it could never work. And you just made it communistic.

Ah makes sense.

Well, (I can't remember if she said this) Erza told Spirit in Limbo that "they" may try to make him remember. Because he was remembered by them greatly. And that that they could. If not, then I forgot to add that.

I'm aware of that second statement.Ah, Ridge's pocketwatch. Probably the most pointless detail that I've missed the most in my time being gone.
Legend said
You did! But you said they would fail at it and I don't think I can deal with this right now!Oh really?
Valiance said
Yeah, and I don't know why. I remember the watch did something, but I forget what that something was...

I thought it was just for show. Or did the Doctor give it to him or something?
