I've always been most interested in magical, fantasy, and ability stuff. That's one of the main reasons I like writing and reading MLP fanfiction so much. Just that whole "more than humans" shtick really gets to me in a good way.

What does exposition have to do with anything? It's genre neutral.

Here is the reason for no abilities, Avis lives on an Earth that will slowly be overrun by super-human beings. And there are attacks that come every now and then. But I was hoping that the limitedness of power with the other chars would cause for some specail think of fighting back those super beings. And the people that Avis meet are regular humans.

Actually scratch the super beings part. I like normal human all the way better. Regular Earth, regular humans.
