Heehee, one of Vervaagd's friends is going to be named Slower than Light.

Exemptions?
Heehee, one of Vervaagd's friends is going to be named Slower than Light.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>
If I'm not absent, I'm exempt from two tests.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>
That's an embarrassing name.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Oh. Never mind then.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
But light is the fastest physical thing in that universe. Saying you're slower than light is like saying you're faster than a snail when you're at top speed.
I can't screw my motherboard into the case.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>
No it isn't. A snail is slower than light. A molecule at -270° F is slower than light.
I can't screw my motherboard into the case.
<Snipped quote by CourierSix>
Why?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
What I mean to imply is that it means practically nothing. It's an extremely obvious statement.
<Snipped quote by CourierSix>
From what I've seen that's pretty hard.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
My guess is that the screws aren't long enough to go through the case and the motherboard enough to tighten up. But I don't know.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>
Why would you name a person that?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Because he's a physicist, and he mentions how fast Rainbow Dash was, so I arbitrarily decided to call him Slower than Light. It's suitably related to physics.
<Snipped quote by CourierSix>
Get longer screws?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
My dad says not to because these ones came with the stuff I bought.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>
I thought you meant an actual name.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
My dad says not to because these ones came with the stuff I bought.
<Snipped quote by CourierSix>
The ones you bought also didn't know what your other hardware would be.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Do I need some sort of support mount as well? The screws I do manage to get in are bending the motherboard to some extent.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
No one in the real world would be called Slower than Light.
<Snipped quote by CourierSix>
If the motherboard is going to lie down normally, then you're probably safe.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Do I need some sort of support mount as well? The screws I do manage to get in are bending the motherboard to some extent.
<Snipped quote by CourierSix>
Well, that's not good at all. If the motherboard is bending, no doubt about it, get longer screws. Better yet, call the manufacturers and ask them if that's supposed to happen.
