The perception thing, for reference, is basically as such: Arthur, being the master of creativity as he is, has the power to expand the understanding of others such that they can see things that he creates that can never happen in the normal perception of Existence. It's kind of like what we expect to have in heaven: What Arthur can let you see is literally beyond your imagination--at least, until he makes your imagination better. Of course, I can't actually describe what happens, because I can't imagine it.
