Why not just reduce it to zero, then?
I think you know why.
I'm considering opening an MR spinoff in Casual.

I think you know why.
I'm consodering opening an MR spinoff in Casual.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
How do you mean?
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
Putting an interest check up for an RP in Casual, getting other people to join, and starting another group with more people.

<Snipped quote by Heroic>
But why Casual? I get that part, but what all is behind it?
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
I still wanna be a part of this.
There should be a part in the rps where they cross over.
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
To expand our horizons to the large audience that RPs in Casual. It'll follow the same basic premise this RP has in that players carry out their own plots and whatnot.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
Then why not just transfer to Casual? I've actually considered moving to Advanced, in light of the fact that we fulfill every recommended aspect other than long post, but I doubt they'd appreciate us there.
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
Because I want to be able to keep this here and maintain our standards, which only Free really allows, and (at the present moment) I want to give this one a thrid person narrative writing format, as many people may not be too eager to do avatar swapping.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
Technically the standards are suggestions more than steadfast rules. But regardless, if you did third person, I don't think I would participate.
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
There aren't exactly a lot of people outside of Free who would be willing to give our format a go. That's the reason I'm doing that.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
The reasoning behind it is that it wouldn't be MR anymore; it'd be another roleplay. That, and I don't really enjoy third person that much, especially compared to first.
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
I very much prefer this over third person, yes, but I do enjoy both nonetheless. And keep in mind that the format has changed before, when we moved from implied actions to putting them in asterisks . The format can change, but MR will always be MR- incredibly deep and fantastic in every way.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
But the lore allowed for actions, since it was already recording voices; it'd require entire script writers to pump out long descriptions of reality. First person is really immersive, but multiple paragraphs destroy a portion of interaction.
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
In this third person narrative, I'd expect probably a short paragraph, just to maintain the establshed standard. Not only would it allow for conversation and action to be described, but it would also be much more practical for the writers to describe thoughts as well, which is a portion of what I'm sure the majority of writers like to write.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
Go ahead; I'm just saying that I probably won't be playing due to the format. But to avoid confusion, I recommend naming it something like "Infinite Reality" or something.
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
I don't see confusion issues cropping up with the naming?
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
"Hey, you should check out Myriad Reality!"
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
I was planning on giving it a name like "Myriad Reality: *Insert cool phrase for title here*".
