That seems like a sequel kind of thing.
Or an alternate area thing.
Which he's doing.

Sorry I wasn't on yesterday. We were incredibly busy. Like, almost no wifi busy.
@Heroic
I don't think I'll participate if you do it. It just wouldn't feel right. It's a different kind of immersion, and not the one that makes MR what it is. The roleplayers in such a thread would never be able to switch to our format, because they wouldn't be able to appreciate the true essence of MR. It'd just take up extra time we don't have.
For example, the battle that you played out would have been vastly different. Even David's mystery arc wouldn't go quite right. I've become entirely disillusioned to the idea of writing thoughts on the roleplay. Extra attack description? I could do it--but it would be so different. So even would describing tones and how the character speaks.
It's supposed to be implied--MR is all about understanding. Back on iFunny, you implied actions. From then until now, personality, speech, feelings, and all sorts of things were meant to be discovered, thought of. I almost dare to say that you won't find people as good at roleplaying as we are in Casual.
Our roleplay is vastly different from any other roleplay out there. It's special. There's no gradually easing people in from one format to the other, because people of that format just won't know how to understand like we do. It won't accomplish anything in the long run or the short term. It'll just be another multiverse RP that happens to be a bit more creative--but not to the degree it is now.

Your first paragraph basically explains why I'm willing to switch formats for the sake of expanding our horizons. People won't be willing to adopt our format, and if the customers don't come to you, you come to them.
Your second is another reason. There's almost no one else willing to RP like us, and as such couldn't ever come join us here. If we want to grow our playerbase, someone is going to have to adapt to the community.
It only becomes just another generic role play if you let it. There are ways to describe thoughts and feelings without actually giving away information in your writing regarding puzzles or secrets that need to be found out. Also, again, the fact that hardly anyone out there is willing to RP like us virtually makes this a requirement.
Never mentioned easing anyone anywhere. The point is that we go get other people, not wait and hope that the people we know won't join us do so. If we come to them and get them interested, maybe that could start a drive to understand this main thread and how it works.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
Perhaps. But why don't we try making an interest check for this current iteration in Casual, advertising the virtues of ours? If that doesn't work, perhaps you can try to create the spin-off. But as I said, I would most likely not participate.

One thing I'd like to mention: We don't get anybody else who's willing to RP our way not because they don't exist, but because we don't seek them out. I've always touted the "You adapt to MR; MR does not adapt to you" because I truly believe MR to be perfect. But its perfection can only be attained by those willing to reach for it.
<Snipped quote by Balance>
I'd recommend putting such an interest check in the General Interest Checks section first, then following up with putting the thread in a category everyone who shows interest agrees on. If people don't find interest in one RP called Myriad reality in Casual, then another RP of th same name probably won't recieve as many clicks as it could.

It's perfection is subjective to the individual. Those here happen to agree with that, but you cannot expect it from everyone else.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
I suppose that's true. But we should still consider all our options for garnering more RPers.
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
Basically this. Most people don't want to strive for something higher. They want the norm. They want something that they know, that they can cling to. We don't want that. We want people who want to go past the norm, who want to try new things, who want to get out of their comfort zone. People who can think and adapt. An RP like MR but with third person does not find the right kinds of people, because we're just letting them have their comfort zone. People who don't want to adapt will try out MR, and when they see what it really takes, they'll fail.

Well, perfection isn't subjective, even though I'm not necessarily using it in a literal sense. But my point still stands.
<Snipped quote by Balance>
Four people who can do it very well are better than ten who cannot.
<Snipped quote by Balance>
Yes. But we've already tried interest checks for this thread. I see how much success that endeavor had.
I would suggest talking to the people from that Hell's Coffee Lounge RP, as they seem to be the only other speed-posting RP on this site, though they still vary drastically from us in many ways.

I know, and I wasn't either. Merely using it in the same context as you were.
<Snipped quote by Heroic>
But that was made quickly, out of desperation. We're regrouped now. We're calm. Things are going great. Now we can look for new players without panicking. We can come up with something, together, that really captures the essence of this RP.
Also, the people at Hell's Coffee Lounge are severely lacking in grammatical skills and especially capitalisation.
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
Five. There's five of us. I propose that today we begin an endeavour to create an interest check that shows who we want and what we're all about. We need to show people what this mystery, this Myriad Reality is. Many people look at our RP and wonder what it is. They look at our posts and it seems a mystery. We have to let people know what's happening here so it isn't a mystery any more.

Six? Oh! I forgot to count me.

I just want to know what your goal is. I'm not going to stop you or anything.
<Snipped quote by Balance>
Perhaps. Even still, my idea will expand our influence either way.
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
My goal? Share with others what we enjoy so much in a way that they will equally enjoy and comprehend it.
<Snipped quote by Balance>
We've always had a net change of zero.
