Mum just can't seem to stop patronising me these days. Today it's practically an insult because my room is literally the cleanest room in the house and she wants me to read a children's book about how to clean a room, because apparently it'll "help with my organisational skills".

Get her the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers and tell her to clean it herself if she thinks is not good enough XD loljk. Don't disrespect your parents I learned that one the hard way XD

Yeah, the Bible says to honour our father and mother, no matter what, so I'm going to do it anyway once I find the time. I'm just not particularly happy about it.

That moment when you have ten places to eat at for lunch within walking distance from your school.

And it's made worse by the fact that she doesn't even think she's being mean. She thinks that she can improve my mind by having me read children's books. Excuse me, I get smarter by exercising my brain logically. I already did as much logical exercise as I could with children's books when I was three; it's been twelve years and she still thinks that that's an enterprising option.

Also, just read the 'Hacker's Manifesto'.

Wow.

I don't have the words to describe how well it was written and the emotions it brings across.

Well, I just found out that Edge failed at fixing one of the crucial problems of IE: that the tabs were not split into different processes. I thought Edge was supposed to be a browser with totally redesigned code, which would have allowed them to fix that, but I guess not.

They recycled most of IE.

That's what I thought. I was really hoping "redesigned" meant "redesigned", and that Microsoft wouldn't be lazy about it.

I'M SO SORRY
SPIRIT WOULD NEVER SAY THAT, AT LEAST IN THAT WAY; HE HASN'T CHANGED THAT MUCH

I thought it was the best sign that something was wrong.

His serious sound is natural. Something like "How about some fresh-baked cookies?" is totally out of place for him. More like "I have access to cookies that have just been baked, if you'd like them."

But it's wrong. I mean, if I put a stretch on the plan that I have for Spirit in the future, I could say that that's something that he might say, but it would be a very large stretch.
