I don't even know what SOS is besides Save Our Ship.

I just made that SOS up. I'm making a parody of that SOS. Selfishness, Odium, Stupidity.

Oh, I see. Man, I once got in trouble for racist jokes that didn't even involve whomever was listening. People need a spine.

It has literally never meant that...
SOS stands for Save Our Souls, not ship. Unless used in a shipping sense. In which case ignore this post.

Um... SOS originated on ships because it was morse code used generally when it was sinking. It's an old term about actual sailing ships.

And as for sneaking, best thing you could do is learn to lie, if you're too scared to explain to them the exact process of getting their head out of their ass.
Come up with a valid explanation that could be used in X situation. Memorize it, plant evidence for it, hint at it being the case, then repeat with Y situation.

I promise you it's not. It has stood for Save Our Souls since it was first used.

Lying is a sin, so stop trying to lead us astray.

"In popular usage, SOS became associated with such phrases as "save our ship", "save our souls" and "send out succour". These may be regarded as mnemonics, but SOS does not actually stand for anything and is not an abbreviation, acronym or initialism."
So we're apparently both right and wrong.

Remind me again of why god gets to lie then? Of why almost every holy person in the bible lied? Of whenever it says that lying is a sin?

I'm not gonna lie here, I have lied to them before. Regretted it. Prefer to keep knowledge to myself to avoid situations altogether.

Then you get into all that muddied shit about withholding information = a lie; etc.

First, God never lied, and I don't understand why this simple concept never seems to get through to you. Second, John 8:44 "You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."

The Bible talks about lying a lot.

Withholding information isn't lying. It's deception, which my parents do not approve of, but it's not.

My parents classify them as two separate things. And frankly, lying is 100 times worse with them than simply not telling them anything. If they straight up ask me though, and I refuse to answer, then I get into the same amount of trouble as lying would.

" Two other cases of lying were when Abraham, out of fear, told the king of Egypt that Sarah was his sister and not his wife (Gen. 12:11-20, 20:1-12), and later Isaac did the same thing with Rebecca (Gen. 26:7). Some again say that Sarah was Abraham’s half cousin so he was technically correct. Once again, the intention was to mislead. What was interesting in both these cases is that God had to intervene to bail them out. "
Defending a lie is a lie David.
On a side note, the devil is a murder? He killed 10 people throughout the bible. God killed millions. You cannot claim absolute morals and then say that immoral acts are moral just because someone in power did it.
