That's a part of life; sometimes it's harder to learn and sometimes it's easier. The key is to resist, regardless of what life throws at you because you're strong.

You're presuming a lot about me then. I used to be able to learn things easily. Quantum physics? No problem. Give me a wiki page and I'd know it inside and out. Now I can't even understand the same pages. I'm not strong. I have literally no redeeming qualities beyond an inability to not help when I feel I can. Humans are trash, but I'm pretty much bottom of the barrel trash, and nothing you say is going to change that or convince me to pretend otherwise. I've accepted it, it's fine. Don't worry about it.

The neuroplasticity of the human brain allows it to learn and reduce skill in areas depending on how they're reinforced. Each neuron or neuron matrix establishes a "knowledge-base" that the rest of the brain utilizes in order to "know." When you learn something new or work on an existing skill, the existing paths are made stronger, while new paths aren't made as often. The reason new concepts can be learned so easily as a child is because this acts as a network of roads, where a new, small road can be added relatively easily and often. As you age, the small roads begin to be replaced by stronger and faster "highways," where thoughts occur more efficiently. When building your neural "highways," your subconscious decided that certain skills could be better used in other areas, hence a more difficult time understanding quantum physics, but an easier time understanding the complexities of human emotion. The way to rebuild highways or make the current roads larger is to put passion and effort into whatever you want to achieve.

But this is affecting everything. I literally had to take a couple seconds to remember that it's "affecting" not "effecting" in that previous sentence. My mind isn't just shifting focus, it's losing focus on everything. And I don't have any passion and effort to give. Even my dreams for the future leave me unmotivated. Things I enjoy doing I end up getting bored with immediately. And I'm not talking about things I could do years ago. 6 months ago I could learn a new incredibly complex concept easily, and now I can't understand things half as complex. Even my personal imaginations have lost their appeal and creativity. There's just nothing left from me.

That's a different scenario altogether. Losing a purpose in life causes your emotional and perceived mental state to deteriorate immensely. In that circumstance, you have to provide a motivation based on your will. Even if you don't like it, force yourself to do it and get better at it, and everything else will adjust accordingly. Let your willpower be your drive, and even if that isn't it, allow the state of nothingness to push you away instead of pull you in. Virtually everyone feels worthless at some point or another, but it's a matter of pulling yourself out of the rut instead of sitting there to simmer.

Dude, i deal with that all the time. It's just your brain processing all the stuff to find what it wants.
As for your motivation, you just have to keep at doing something, especially using your imagination if you want to keep it. Otherwise, it just gets dull. Finding new things to do can give you insight on stuff you want to do. Also even if your imagining the same stuff or thinking up new stuff, try to see if you can change something different about, that way you try to think outside of what you already know. Persnally i've only ever had the motivation to stay alive, get through the day, and enjoy time with friends and family. I didn't and still don't care about my grades, let alone money, but at some point i have to get on with life and do stuff, because i realize i'm not gonna get any where with doing something. So with or without motivation, i do what i need to and what i want to.

So since you guys all like RWBY, here ya go. Cute stories of romancing each of them. Blake's and Yang's have nice puns based on their titles.

Even though I've never seen RWBY, Ruby is mine and I will stab you if you touch her. She's cute.

"Alley dog" really doesn't sound good.
Can anyone come up with a canine equiv to "alley cat" for me?
"Stray dog" or "stray mutt" don't really give me what I'm looking for.
I'm looking for something cute-ish but still insulting, and would make for something that would be commonly said.
