Being able to do things without the promise of physical gain, motivation to do it because it's expected or necessary or because you want to be accepted by others.

That's called Dicipline.

And to add to this, self-control.

Not possible. Humans aren't wired in a way that allows that. The best you can do is create a selfish reason to do it and convince yourself of it. Which is hard to do.

Bro it is possible. I do it. Not completely mind you, considering i understand the need to eat, sleep, and other basics, but i can become distracted to the point where ignore eating and sleeping for a few hours. That and I'm not permanently motivated by money or physical objects. For a few minutes yea, but that's it. I understand the importance of things such as money, but i don't have an internal desire for it besides as a mean to an end.

Your statement had nothing to do with any of those things.

I never took the time to appreciate Cell's theme song. It's part of what made him terrifying. So atmospheric.

Not sarcasm. Cell was created to be stronger than Goku and whatnot by Doctor Gero. Cell decides that he wants none of Gero's nonsense and goes out to become the perfect being on his own after killing his creator.

I could have sworn Cell was the one doing what Gero wanted. 17 killed Gero.
