Both sides are overstating the bill. It's not as good or as bad as either extreme says it is. You don't have the resources to do so and they have defenses.

The thing is that ISPs have worked their way around the existing bill to begin with. I agree that something should be done (preferably de-monopolize the internet industry and allow anyone to have an internet service), but this in and of itself probably won't affect all that much.

I don't disagree. I also think that we should focus more on legislation that should be passed in the future to protect consumers (i.e. deprivatize the stupid internet cables) than these things that might not have a practical effect.
