What card?

<Snipped quote by Audacious>
The best counters to it from what I've seen are a Full Crystal-Beast deck and a Perfect E-Heroes deck. You could probably get away with a Stardust Warriors too, if you choose some good Pendulums and have all the right Synchrons. Alternatively if you have a Sacred Beast or Gods deck with three Mound of the Bound Creators and March of the Monarchs you'd have a good shot. If Hazy Flame had more support it would be perfect but they only have enough cards for maybe half a deck. Artifacts would also do well if supported correctly. A mix of the three Six Samurai archetypes might be good too.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>
I had a perfect Chaos Dragons deck that used the Dragon-Lords and them getting banned dropped my win rate from 100% to around 30%. All the good chaos cards that could be in their place are either not dragons which ruins half the deck's supports, or are banned.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>
Why is it good?
Also, nice shady link.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
Trickstars are also good as an anti-meta option.

The banlist isn't a only a tool for game balance, it's also for motivating players to buy new decks as the old ones become playable. I'm just glad Kozmo has gone as long as it has with only Dark Destroyer being limited.

It combos with certain other cards in the deck so well that they can usually, with only 5 cards on their first turn, make a field of monsters that would take anyone else 10-20 cards of resources and turns of time to make, if they even could. The card is an enabler for some infinite loop hocus pocus that puts the deck so far ahead of every other decks curve.

If you're expecting to go against Spyral, if you have Double Helix and Ghost Reaper & Winter Cherries you can shut down their deck. Maxx C also breaks Drone's affect.
If you don't already, Cyber Dragon Nova and Infinity (if they aren't banned) and Chimera-Overtech would be good to have. Alternatively, if you don't mind not using an Extra Deck now that they're utterly useless anyway with the Link system, some monarch support cards and Wiched Eraser could counter any swarm deck, SPYRAL included.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
I wish I owned one, but the game isn't worth the cost of some of these hand traps to me. I own a Ghost Ogre that I got back when they were cheap, but other than that, it costs so much to get the handtraps because demand is so high.
Nova and Infinity are must haves for me. A friend is lending me his for the tourney, since he's playing a Herald of Perfection deck and won't need them.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>
That sounds pretty cool.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>
The Fabled cards used to do that too, but even if half of them weren't banned the Link system would render them useless. This stupid ass update to the game made any deck from Arc-V backwards practically unplayable unless it already relied on Monarch cards and no Extra. I remember there being decks that could get out three Shooting Quasars in the first turn with Fables.

Nice. ygoprodeck.com/card-database/deck-prices
You should show me your deck. And if you have a card shop nearby, Eraser really is OP against swarms. I just wish they'd archetype upgrade like they did with archfiends and make the Wicked Gods Divine so Bound Creator could search them.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
It's cool if you're one of the guys out there who can afford/be lucky enough to get their hands on a deck that costs upwards of $500. Playing against it sucks unless you are also playing against it.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
I had a friend who could get double Quasars turn 1 with about 75% consistency. But yeah, the game is usually busted, but the periods where the meta involves a triangle of elites, where 3 decks are the best, and those in rogue tier still have a shot are the best formats objectively.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
I can take a minute and type up all the cards I'll be running in the tournament if you want.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>
Ouch. I'll stick with Pokemon TCG.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>
Mhm. Or I can help you test it on a sim.

Casual play isn't that bad. The game is only even remotely that expensive when you get decks that hit top tier, because then people buy them so they can win, and supply & demand does its thing.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>Kozmo Dark Planet x 2
Kozmo Dark Eclipser x 2
Kozmo Dark Destroyer x 1 (Because they limited my baby)
Kozmo Forerunner x 2
Kozmo Landwalker x 2
Kozmo Sliprider x 2
Kozmo Dark Lady x 2
Kozmo Goodwitch x 1
Kozmo Wickedwitch x 2
Kozmo Farmgirl x 2
Kozmo Strawman x 2
Kozmo Tincan x 2
Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit x 1
Kozmojo x 3
Back to the Front x 2
Solemn Strike x 1
Bottomless Trap Hole x 1
Dark Hole x 1
Kozmotown x 3
Terraforming x 3
Emergency Teleport x 1
Reasoning x 1
Torrential Tribute x 1
Sideboard and Extra deck will largely be determined by what my friends have to lend me, as I don’t own any. But I expect that it will include Nova, Infinity, Castel, and Phantom Knight of the Break Sword at least.

A really good Pokemon deck would be around the same price. You can really only get good cards cheap if they're middle of the road. New cards and old cards are really expensive. The original Charizard alone is upwards of 100$ at times.
<Snipped quote by Galaxy Raider>
Basic Kozmo then? If you want to test out, ygoprodeck.com/ygopro-2-0 or duelingnexus.com work. Apparently both Pro1 and Dueling Network were taken down.

It just sounds like a lot of rules.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>
Yeah, because it's the original. Even the Wailord stall-out deck was nearly unbeatable and wasn't all that expensive in the end. I think PTCG has a lot of avenues for a great deck, cheap or expensive.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
I won't lie, there are.

So much meta.
