They've never succeeded before. No character ever looked good in the clothes and no original character ever qualified. I mean I guess for furries there's got to be some success but now it's the case for raw aesthetic.

Mikoto looks fantastic in a SS commander outfit. Wish that it didn't exist, but can't deny that it's the case. Kuroko also looks good in a grunt uniform.

Well, fortunately Nazi ideology is mostly dead in this day and age. As for the art, unless they're promoting Nazism, it doesn't seem to be all that bad. It's historical, anyway.

It's coming back into trend recently. It's not a problem as long as they're non-violent, but I meant the violent ones back when are the ones I wish didn't exist. Blah blah butterfly effect blah blah.
Yeah but it's Mikoto. Dressing a character in an outfit means that there's some version of that character that would wear it for some reason. I didn't want any nazi Mimis.

90% of them are just there for the meme. I'd wager the ratio is no bigger nor smaller than since 30 years after WWII.
If she happened to be an officer in Germany in the 40's, she'd have a reason to wear it. Personally, anachronistic art isn't a huge deal since it's an expression of a melding of time periods.

They announced it without any kind of forewarning, hence the left field. Plus, they have tons of writers and could keep it going if they wanted to (OP does it), but they're taking a break to prep for the movie and such.
