Keeping pace and moving them to more viable areas of the ring. As well as setting up for the power hand. This is known as an orthodox style. I am also training as an in-fighter. More up close in personal in lamens terms.

Of course. But, and this is my opinion of course, there is much more room for wild attacks in MMA with Boxing on the other hand it will lose you the match.

That depends on your opponent's style, honestly. There are boxers that can only be beaten by wild attacks just like there are boxers that trying to brawl against will crush you.
