[OOC] Myriad Reality

@Host Quick change though, looking at some more images of similar rings I found that the top band goes down to 1, so I've changed the duration for both the second and first bands to minutes. Just giving a heads up.

EDIT: I figured a second of time slowing wouldn't be that useful all things considered.

The posting? I mean if all else fails I can always bring back Fenris to move Cyrox about as he can't travel between dimensions, but if you or anyone else wants to introduce a character into his still vaguely defined world-which is a post apocalyptic cyberpunk version of Earth-at some point then feel free to. At the moment I might move him to like a small town or settlement saloon where he can investigate the ring some more and figure out how to use it properly, but other than that I have no idea.

Have you decided the increment at which this parasite ring will leach the user's life? Is it a permanent thing where they will die at X time, or can other life extension factors help pay off some of the "debt"?
I'm wondering about it since limits often work well when they're serious enough to be considered both in and out of character.

I say it's a permanent thing as it effectively eats away all the users years past 100, forcing them to live up to that age and that age only. Well, not really forcing, more like barring any further aging past that point, albeit by disintegrating them and everything on them. The user can still die before that through various means, hence why I had the suit keep its wearer in their physical prime despite their age.

It's more of a "the price you pay" kind of consequence, which is pretty interesting. Can they ever take the ring off btw?

Of course. Though I haven't yet considered what would happen to the field if they did.

EDIT: Maybe the field still remains so long as the ring is active? Or maybe it could be a distance thing. So the further away you are, the less chance it has to affect you?

What about if it takes an "advanced payment" equal to maybe half of the user's current "debt" and makes it so that if they ever use the ring again the "debt is forever permanent, regardless of if they keep it or not? Kinda like a curse mark.

That's the basic idea of my suggestion, but it doesn't have to be half. It could be whatever you feel is fitting.

Before you post, I had an idea where Cyrox has to use actual physical doors in order for his new dimensional abilities to work. Unless that conflicts with pre-established lore somehow? The explanation for such could either be personality, or just one of Existence's unexplained occurrences.

Yeah, that's fine. Some beings have signature methods of generating portals, so doorways are totally viable.
