The spiritual realm isn't part of this universe, or the entirety of space itself. If it were a spatial dimension, a quantum physics adage leads to the conclusion that it can be reached by mortal means; which it can't.

I mean in the way that you can reach out and touch it. It doesn't follow our scientific laws. It's "here" but it isn't "here".
