I think I found a common denominator. Maybe we all have problems that arise because we all try to pull the RP in different directions. I'm trying to make it an anime, Whiz is trying to make it a story, Sven is trying to make it (to be honest, I don't know how to put it. Augmented real life?), and Spirit's pulling in a direction close to mine, but not exactly the same. When it was first created, it was a pony RP, and even those without pony characters submitted to that fact. I think that any apparent tension arises from that fact.
I'm trying to make it a story? o3o Well, I guess my extra use of descriptors can lead to that. But it still all clicks together perfectly, don't you think?

Do you agree? It's just a little something for us to hopefully ease the gear grinding I've felt for a little while. Like I said, I think ours run smoothly together because in my eyes, we're going a similar direction. I just had to say it before I went to sleep and forgot.
Gear grinding? As far as I've seen, we've all gotten along quite well so far.

There may very well be none. All my characters and plots are original, but in total anime style, at least in my eyes. Yours seem to be similar. (By the way, I have school tomorrow, so I'm going to go to sleep soon. No, I'm not kidding, yes, I know it's Saturday.)
I guess you could say my plots tend to go in a story-like direction.

^That's kinda me. I feel like I'm putting in my "stories" as I'm piggy back riding everyone else's. Hopefully without grinding people gears. Also, I use anime people cause 1) I haven't perfected my style in drawing 2) they are really good character bases. And 3) I take too long trying to draw my characters on how I think of them.
I do the same; I fit in my stories when appropriate.
