I feel that we do. You assume that there's one solution (since the rest of us want to keep the way we are), which doesn't work. It'll only wear you down until you have nothing left, unlike now, where you still have the will and desire. Let's at least look at this from another standpoint first.

It seems to me that he's saying that since he's tired of his own characters, going to another group with new characters (of his own) would keep him from wanting to go back to the old group, where he would have to deal with his own characters. X night be jumping to conclusions a bit here.
