Conflict isn't always man vs. man. Svár's just a part of it. We've got the inexplicable mercs, the ever-increasingly dangerous splitting of Ruby's mind, and at the same time dealing with the emotions of one part loving Arthur and another part hating him. Good literature should not only place focus on living villains, but emotions, nature, etcetera. Man vs. himself is my most preferred of all central conflicts, and it's the biggest focus in the story I'm writing.I know that perfectly well. In comparison to me now, the naïveté of me back then is incomprehensibly terrible.

Man vs. Self is often used in mine as well. Nature, not so much.

What kind of bullets are these mercenaries using if Ruby needs to be concerned with them hitting her?

I didn't mention it, but the first mercenaries that came after her used bullets that had a poison effect on her if they "touched" her, and she barely purged the effect of one in time. She has to be especially wary.

Evil Dynamo? Relatively weak, but evasive and cunning? The one right under your nose that you don't know about? (Maybe serious, maybe not). Baphumet, who uses skills and tricks? But I'll be honest with you, I have a lot of power focus. But power is a huge factor in my mind, so it makes sense.Look, I'm going to take myself up on my own offer from a while back and say something that's been on my mind. I have awesome things in store, things that nobody would ever expect me to do, but I feel that nothing gets done because I'm the only one here. I can't actually start anything because I'm left alone after five minutes, and I've felt that way for a while now. Like, I've only gotten what, two final bosses in the past year? I feel like I'm restricted between letting you guys do your plots while you are IC, and performing my own, which I never happen to get to, because a lot of the time it feel like whoever is there at the time is about to begin exposition, when it turns out to be small talk.

How about we plan what days we're going to do important things beforehand? That way we don't interrupt each other's plots with our own. So like, "Hey, I have something important I want to do on x day." "Okay then, I won't do anything that day." Or, "I'll move my thing to another day."

Nature is actually technically Man vs. a force greater than himself, so not necessarily nature. For example, the Spirits opposing the realisation of the elements in Paper Sky.

ED never struck me as weak, particularly, and I only rmember Baphumet being Dark's. I know you have something with him coming up though, if I remember right. Also, I don't really know what to say to that except to be more assertive, and I apologize for not being here as much as I'd like.

ED hasn't shown up much, but relies on knowing David's every move, and being more intelligent. His power isn't as high as he'd have you believe.
Baphumet was not at any point Dark's.

It's fine, but I just don't have the ability to progress things without at least one other individual. However, if there's anything to learn from this situation, one is that I need to progress them faster like on iFunny instead of letting them sit until an opportune time.

Even though the poison claws of Rhetro's guy didn't do anything? (He will be returning, by the way).

I personally don't really want to do that. It makes it mechanical and planned; I was actually leaning more toward no OOC discussion of IC details.

Could have sworn Baphumet was used on his account "The World". But okay.

She wasn't. She's the green haired one with the mask that shot the other one.

The one with Gilda,

These don't directly poison her. It's applying a magical effect, rather than physical. They've done their research. So if they hit her, despite not touching her, they'll release whatever effect the bullet has over her inherent barrier of order, and it'll seep into her.

How about this? We split up the days. We don't necessarily say we're going to do something on this or that day, just that if we want to do something on our days, that's our day to do it. Obviously when we do do things it'll have to extend into more days, but that's an unavoidable effect anyway. It won't be mechanical at all. I definitely don't want it to be mechanical or planned. This is a free form roleplay. It just keeps us from accidentally clashing.

Oh.

Hax.

Eh, I don't know. I don't think it's really an issue, but I'm generally lightly paranoid that it is.

I've mulled over it carefully to see if it would break the kind of vibe we want. I'm as sure as possible that it won't.

It'd be a simple cycle of 3 (or 4) days, and in each day a certain one of us can do something important we might want to do. A day starts either on a new day or after the end of a plot thing of the current day. Simple and non-restrictive. One can even ask the others if he can do his plot point before his day, and the others can let him if they don't want to do anything for their days.

But in the real world, related events don't wait 3 or 4 days.

Sounds familiar, but no. I take it has something to do with Whataburger.
