May be a little late.
The Eveersko Realm Location- Galaxy, 10,000 ly from galactic center
Government type- Syndicalist Republic
Power- Multi-stellar, emerging minor regional
Governmental institutions tend to exist only on the interstellar level in mainly having a pan-realm defense force and government ran organizations for emergency events. Regionally community organizations and guilds tend to make the bulk of managing planets, sometimes with financial incentives but usually tend to be more in the name of charity and goodwill with most financial gains going to enhancing the organization with relatively little going to those who run it, as if they were to do that they would look like “greedy bastards”.
Chiefs in the realm come in three levels. The first levels are planetary chiefs who manage individual worlds. The second levels are regional chiefs who manage dozens of worlds known as high chiefs. High chiefs can attend to the Realm Council, which holds meetings whenever the Grand Chief wills it to be so.
There are policies however, like Universal Law that is enforced around the realm by the realm government forces.
Universal law is very simple, it basically just says to be respectful, be monogamous, not to aggressively kill, not to steal or hoard wealth, and to not deceive.
In practice all these five simple laws have been broken time and time again, some Eveerko are notorious for managing to break all five of these laws!
The government overall outside of their realm police force is rather loose, and generally has competing influence by the six organizations who are all named after the god they seek to emulate.
There are five levels of government in the realm. While in theory a leader from the lowliest clan be chosen to be grand chief, very often one in order to be grand chief needs to become a leader in every level of society to even be considered for the position.
Clan: Generally a group of Eveersko united in various manners, sometimes by initiation, other times by marriage into the clan or in some cases simply choosing to join. Clans tend to be ran by a leader who is chosen by the clan as a whole and that leader tends to be for life. Said leaders often get called to meet in local community councils.
Community: A group of Eveersko that live in a city on a planet, communities tend to have multiple clans and minorities and generally are basically like cities/states/countries on a colony. The community tends to be be ran by a group of clan leaders who work for the community as a whole, and of course to up the reputation of their individual clan units. These clan units also pick a community leader when the old one dies.
World: The planet as a whole which generally has multiple communities. The leaders of communities tend to periodically go to the world council to discuss political matters of their world and beyond. At this level a chief is usually elected by the community leaders for life.
Organization: Organizations are nebulous and tend to change what worlds they dominate on from time to time, but generally organizations get ran by the chiefs of the worlds the organization currently has the most dominant influence on. These chiefs, as you may imagine lect the high chiefs who are the leaders of the entire organization.
Realm: On the realm level, picking the Grand Chief tends to be a more complex process than High Chiefs picking which one they want to be the Grand Chief. Instead there is effectively a election process for the next Grand Chief- where the high chiefs compete for the popular support of the whole realm as opposed to just their organizations. In practice, the most powerful organizations tend to be more likely to get their high chiefs in due to having more influence than the rest.
Leader- Current grand chief is Ivarski, high chief of the Military Guild- chief of Kinafas, leader of Yofor community and manager of the Kavidus clan.
Most just say “Grand Chief Ivarski” instead. At his 300th transit or 53rd year depending on your species. Is currently under threat of being replaced
Dominant Race/Culture:
By far the Eveersko and Realm-Universal culture are mot dominant even if regional cultures within the realm still exist.
The above image is a example of a Eveersko in a stoor zoo, however the physiology of the eveersko tend to be like this.
Economy- The realm is considered a syndicalist economy based around reputation and popular support. The more reputation one has among their communities and peers, the more wealth and power they tend to get.
Culture-
As a society the Eveersko tend to be relatively based on popular sovereignty and even in a galaxy dominated by stifling bureaucratic dictatorships their long tradition has yet to fade and unless forced upon by a alien oppressor. Despite this, thanks to the long life spans of a Eveersko the grand chief can stay in power for centuries before a new one is elected especially in more recent times. The usual reason a grand chief being replaced often being due to popular support for a new grand chief.
However less greed the Eveersko have, pride and popular support go relatively unchecked and arrogant, boastful Eveersko are a common issue, even worse are those who start regional wars for the mere cause of showing their capabilities as commanders. Eveersko of the higher echelons of society also are notorious for their exaggerating of truth and generally trying to gain power over their peers by being the better “big man”.
Innovation wise the Eveersko due to a upbringing on a cold, hostile world have had to come up with creative methods to make better toys and tools due their local clans and dynastic royalties whose family lines keep switching which gender define them depending on the dynasty. While it took millennia before the Eveersko advanced to being a global civilization do not be fooled- the Eveersko have a creative spirit among them that has allowed them to think very resourcefully and with the power of a warp drive on their hands and a burning desire to constantly impress their peers with better and better devices in order to gain reputation, regardless of their practical use.
While there is a cultural and official hatred for those seen as too greedy with wealth that does not warrant their actual status in terms of reputation and goodwill, the wealth of those at the top of an organization tends to be a good amount more than that of the common worker. Usually what wealth gap there is tends to be justified as “earned wealth”- and there are multiple organizations like the Chern Cult who spend their time going about inspecting organizations around the realm to make sure the wealth of those in various ranks of the organizations sync with the reputation and popularity of those in power.
Feuding among the clans, thanks to the competitive reputation based culture of the Eveersko is also pretty damn common.
The Eveersko for centuries in the old order and before the rise of organizations were more inward looking and spiritual, but after a major internal war of sorts and popular support for the old order having fallen due to the old order being to obsessed in their inset values of humility, the new order came about. The new order culturally has proven much more outward looking than most, as their organizations regularly commission exploration missions to both the inner and outer galaxy, some of these "exploration" missions in practice usually ending up with said explorers raiding and stealing alien artifacts and technologies of interest to the realm. As well, many younger Eveersko looking for quick influence on their peers tend to go about being mercenaries for alien societies in their constant warring.
Through the exploration, it seemed that the more exploration was done, the more alien civilizations there turned out to be. Legends became realities in the course of a couple centuries, and with aliens from these lands coming to the realm for better or worse the new order has seen a age of profound change. Yet there is the looming sense of danger, knowing vaguely of large, sprawling alien empires far more massive than anything they could've imagined who might one day show up on the border of the realm...
Religion/Beliefs- The Eveersko are what humans would call a “pagan” society, for the regional faith still tend to be very astrology based ones with multiple regional subcultures that follow regional faiths developed over the centuries. While there is “common faith”- which really just defines the only six gods that exist, the earlier faiths still are practiced however outdated they are. Astrology had developed under the Eveersko when they went beyond their home system to make use of 3D space, and make far more complex constellations than their ancestors who only saw the celestial sphere.
While the first constellations were to, like many species, ensure a good harvest [although predicting the personality of those born as a application never really took off], newer constellations have not really any application other being landmarks for any navigators. Various legends that interpret their contact with powerful alien civilizations that sprawl across the stars also have achieved recent popularity in the interstellar market as a whole. Alongside the stories tend to be very frequent use of arranged wars and
According to common faith, the six gods to the Eveersko didn’t make them, but rather guided the natural world in such way that the Eveersko would one day appear. The six major gods are generally seen as fallible in their nature, from the god of the stars Chern to the god of war their competition for the domination of the heavens are seen to have produced the universe all life live in.
As a result, by the time the realm formed the Eveersko with their unified civilization under the realm and the global cultural revolution believed in order to be like the gods they must to some level mimic them. As a modern civilization, this naturally led to the existence of the organizations whose members see it as their goal to emulate the nature of their gods, with the implications that entails concerning gods like the god of death.
One notable aspect of science in the Eveersko thermodynamics-wise is that they have no official word of “cold”, rather scientists just see less heat. While they are aware the human language was a term for less heat, the scientific communities have generally thought the idea of needing a word for the absence of heat as completely absurd.
Average Lifespan- With medical advancements, about 645 years have been the average life span as judged by the analyzing of 800 years of Eveersko history. However, some of the Eveer have lasted much longer than this and generally are considered biologically immortal by now.
Physical Characteristics- The Eveersko species are yeti-like in their appearance, and are actually usually stronger than they look due to them usually augmenting themselves with biotech and stimulants as well as mechanical boosters to enhance their mobility and strength- as if they weren’t strong and fast enough.
The Eveersko are a race, that while adaptable to more temperate climates find desert-like environments hellish let alone actual lava worlds and prefer colder climates. Despite their dislike of heat, they still managed to make use of fire and make civilization even if they had a tendency to make more elaborate mechanisms than most when around fire usually using a lava forge.
The Eveersko tend to average at 8’ tall and weigh around 300-500 pounds on average and usually have a thick hide of white fur, although often this fur is shaved in post-realm history and when not, usually groomed heavily for those with the reputation to afford such grooming. The hide must remain free of those parasites, after all. This has of course; led to cultural divides between naked Eveersko and those with their fur coats.
Reproduction wise the Eveersko tend to give live birth, and while the females has no breast equivalent [while mammal-like, their biological clade never developed this feature] babies usually can still expect the mother to give nutrition vomit to their children even nowadays. The females tend to look very similar to the males, although tend to have longer coats of hair and tend to be fatter than the males. Eveersko tend towards strict monogamy, as the gestation periods tend to be longer than usual unless risky stimulants that add the risk of a stillborn child are used. It generally takes decades for a Eveersko to mature.
Fur color is usually white, but skin color can vary between black and various shades of blue or even purple. Eye colors tend to be just a few colors as well, ranging from dark blue to black.
Eveersko tend to be omnivores, but often tend to eat a lot and store the fat. This is due to hibernation existing in their civilization, however due to the many worlds forcing differing hibernation patterns depending on the world’s conditions and stimulants hibernation no longer is that big of a disadvantage even if a good portion of the populations till hibernate regularly.
Eveersko are a strictly monogamous species, usually mating for life unless their spouse dies and even than it may be decades before they bother looking for another mate. Gender roles do exist on some level, but tend to vary from place to place although generally it seems males have more political force while females tend to have greater influence in the scientific community.
However, males tend to have a stronger political force than females even if on a couple occasions a female grand minister did exist. There are no real liberal movements trying to change it that catch on, mainly due to popular sentiments being fine with the current arrangements. This has however, led to the organizations having serious gaps in their gender demographics as some organizations tend to have many more males than females and vice versa.
The strength of a Eveersko outstrips that of a human’s easily, however they are not as strong as races like the Graal without their stimulants.
History- The Eveersko come from a very cold world, but the god of life was on their side as the alien crops of their world prospered in snow just fine, allowing for agricultural civilization to develop despite impediments in prehistoric civilization caused by the tedious uses of fire.
In time their civilizations spread across the world and went through stone, jade, obsidian and iron ages going straight for iron due to the high amount of iron deposits on their world and copper being seen as a rare-world material to the Eveersko which made copper very desired in their classical cultures.
But for thousands of years the Eveersko was ran by royal blood, a trend of which on a local level still technically exists in the realm. Royal blood is seen as the reason for a ruler, and popular support usually came as a result of the king/queen proving themselves to their people. Those who didn’t often had their heads cut off and a new dynasty put in place. Dynasties in Eveersko civilization, at least the relevant ones, tended to be both matrilineal and patrilineal as it is the choice of the dynasty as to where the royal blood transfers. This also explains why in a realm ancient history textbook one will end up seeing long lines of queens followed by long lines of kings.
Eventually however, the other cultures that followed similar paths albeit of a more war based nature would clash with the noble cultures and later more primitive cultures would end up as vassals to the two great cultural regions.
By that time it was already the Iron Age, naturally.
And by than, modern history started when the Global War broke out, and nearly caused their cold world to burn to shreds by the use of radiation weapons in the atmosphere. The sheer destruction caused lead to the nations, battered form their wars and violence choosing instead a new path- the path of the realm that would be forged by the year 2700 AD as humans wallowed in the death of there once great cosmic empire.
Mind by than the first interplanetary colonies existed on the two moons of their world and even further out.
The creation of the realm led to a technological renaissance in astrophysics caused by the flow of brains that led to the jump drive being invented and the rise of the organizations would at the same time begin.
The lesser folk and Diasporias:
The realm has a couple other aliens that have fell into the realm’s grasp historically, although both were much more primitive to the civilizations like the Stoor devils or the ancient Humans, both of which by now have their diasporias in the realm although there are strict quotas on how many individuals can enter, and quite a bit of discrimination against weirder aliens.
A few minorities have been allowed in the realm from outside, but have to go through very strict processes and learn realmspeak before being allowed to settle in any world of the realm.
Octomanis are a primitive race of aliens discovered about seven hundred years ago who are the first aliens contacted by the Eveersko. They were a iorn age civilization who built impressive monuments, but had relatively limited amounts of ranged wepaons. Their distinct design, that of a eight limbed radially shaped creature made it hard to imagine these creatures would be so advanced as to mount a resistance to colonization attempts by the Eveersko. Although mind, the eveersko nowadays are much more advanced than eveersko centuries earlier.
However, due to the much more arid climates octimanos prefer they became a useful race for the colonists and in time the octimanos would become a major minority of the Eveersko Realm, and even have members as part of the organizations. The resilience and handiness of the Octomani race is often seen as the big reason why they didn’t share the same fate as the slop and why diaspora communities of octomani can be found in some parts of the realm.
Despite their current standing, the Octomanis are still seen as lesser to the Eveersko due to their planet bound society that has been a world of the realm for centuries and this discrimination has made it hard for a octomani to get a higher standing in the realm due to their being far more Eveersko than Octomani.
A easily conquered species discovered four hundred years ago that have pretty much been left as a vassal by the Slavisko who let them propagate on their world and periodically cull them for food, slaves and test dummies due to their anomalously similar design and biology to the Eveersko. It is to the point where some eveersko xenobiologists have proposed the possibility they are a less capable relative, although no genetic tests have been able to find a proper link.
The slop are a race of creatures that reproduce like rabbits and generally have been used as cheap labor by various organizations despite the risk to reputation using slop can cause in some parts of the realms. Appearance wise they are disgusting runts that are covered in shit and mud. The Slop are omnivores, but tend to eat each other more than anything else and generally eat any shit thrown to them regardless of if it is toxic or not.
Despite the lack of intelligence, they did have a hunter-gatherer level of society and have proven able to handle menial labor to some degree.
If it wasn’t for the culling of their kind wasn’t periodically done, it is commonly believed the slop would have overrun the whole realm with their disgusting ways.
Sub-Factions:
The most powerful forces in the Eveersko Realm outside of the unifying government are very much the six great organizations that perpetually compete for popular rule over the thousand worlds in which the realm consists of. The organizations rise and fall over time, and generally have a oligopoly of sorts. In a way, they are like a combination of corporation and political party always competing for their high chiefs to get seats at the council by gaining public support through their patronage of artists, inventors and so forth.
Historically grass roots organizations, they have over the centuries developed into acting as a parallel authority to the realm government giving citizens of a realm a choice in how they want to live, to some level of course.
The organizations tend to name themselves after gods and tend to act as them to some level as well, often being patrons of subjects those within the various echelons of the organizations deem relevant to their god’s interests. This has resulted in a oligopoly between six organizations from the power military guild to the sad excuse of a organization that is the network. Organizations also tend to go by multiple names as well.
Bozydarios Military Guild – Named after god of solids whom looks like a big, buff badass earth golem, Bozydarios is a long running organization that has multiple times won the seat of grand chief and of the four organizations has the most respect of the worlds in recent times. The prominent military organization, sometimes seen as the de facto realm military for how they own so much of the military, and have practiced the art of war for centuries with their great tacticians and strategists.
In the realm of technology they are also impressive, but only from a engineering stand point, having made the military technology that their rivals envy and try to make crude, inferior forged versions of. Most notable examples being their spacecraft that have astoundingly effective ablative armor and their exceptionally energy efficient coilguns. Alongside military technology, they have made the VI slaves and various
Slavisko Foundation – Named after the god of life who looks like a gaia planet with a similing face, The Slavisko organization is the source of how the Eveersko can terraform worlds and make wonder drugs that enhance the abilities of Eveersko civilians- with their inventors generally being chemists and biologists very reputable individuals come from the Slavisko organization thanks to the stimulants that have solved multiple mental diseases and enhance the speed and reflexes of their kind exponentially.
The Slavisko organization also have made heavy use of the slop to boost their research, and alongside their efforts in biotech have also been patrons of terraforming and colonization missions. The Foundation has been competing with the military guild for the next grand chief, and has put full effort into trying to make the current leader look too corrupt to rule anymore so as to get the leader of their own foundation on the seat through popular support.
Cathedral of the Stars/Cult of Chern/The Star Cathedral- The cult of Chern name themselves after the god of stars who literally looks like a star with a determined looking face on it. They are the most religious of the six organizations, and far less secular than the other organizations. The Cherno are an organized religion somewhat comparable to the Catholic Church, and have their own internal process of picking leaders that nowadays is applied to the overall realm government in a more secular fashion.
Still, the Cherno continue to exert major cultural influence with their festivals, arranged ritual wars and are notable for their strong heritability, patronage, elaborate ice sculptures and funding of vast temples of worship to the gods. In more recent times the Cherno faith has become more or less a cultural power and are also known for experimenting in the fields of xenoarcheology and opening up to other species of life.
Historically they once made the best spacecraft, but their designs have fell to the wayside in havoc of the ships made by the Military Guild. While technically a full blown and organized religion, members still often refer to themselves as just a lowly cult as a act of humbleness.
Vizias Collective– Named after the god of gas who literally just looks like a cloud of gas, the Vizias Cooperative are while not as prominent as the three greater organizations [Cherno, Slavisko and Bozydarios] are a very sporadic organization that are known to make advanced airships and some of the most advanced jets of the realm- capable of flying into orbit nd back without problem. The vizias collective are also known for their gas mines and jovian colony attempts of which have ended in total disaster which is why the Collective isn’t a top organization and never will be. Are known to have made scram jet weapons as well.
Godogos/The Fraternity- Named after the god of death, which looks suspiciously like a fire golem more than a gloomy reaper thing with wings.
While officially recognized as a organization, the Fraternity is often seen as a criminal organization that is notorious for their worship of fire which has led to them being massive arsonists that ritualistically light up entire worlds. As a result, many of their members tend to prefer keeping their identity anonymous outside of the regions dominated by the Fraternity. Their reasoning and logic are theological, and generally they rule through the fear and power that the burning flame of death brings. They are known for inventing plasma throwers and the use of covert operations as well specialized forces.
Despite their notoriety, they still exist because their reputation for better or worse is still high and generally they are willing to work within realm universal law 80% of the time. They see death as a necessity, and believe that without the burning fire of death, the cool embrace of life would not exist, and therefore their faction is needed for the realm to function.
Casi Network- The network is named after Casi, the god of water who of course is a sentient glob of water. The Casi network operates in their use of implementing digital technology and virtual reality simulators. They also are known for pretty much not many else- technologies like VR generally have not caught on well due to the preference of arranged wars and larping in general. The applications of water and ice being all too universal a thing as is within the realm.
The Casi network is also the least popular organization and is pretty much the butt of most jokes made in the realm for their pansy ass nature. They’re in a similar place as the slop in effect at this current time.
History: The realm comes from about 800 years ago, and is the result of the Eveersko race figuring out how to use mass driver technology to propel their kind to other worlds and later, to the stars. History before this point is vaguely talked of in the race app, but what is really important is by this time multiple nations united into a universal “Realm” system that was meant to keep world peace after a major war nearly caused a clathrate gun to go off and cataclysmically burn their civilization to death.
In that time the most dominant organization was the star cathedral, and they used in a somewhat centralized fashion on the whole not bothering to get rid of the other organizations since all of them have their personal militaries. However, as the exploration of space continued and alien races like the Octimanos were conquered into the realm the reverence once held towards the stars faded as the folk culture of the colonies had to make new folk cultures for each colonized worlds with new sets of constellations and local spirits.
Various colonial revolts and uprisings had forced the realm to adapt new technologies and eventually political systems around 600 years ago, allowing for the rise of the organizations that at first came as a religious organization. Later however, other kinds of organization formed and fell who adopted the names of the six gods of common faith.
Around 400 years ago the Cherno’s influence and power waned against the more secular organizations of the Military Guild, Collective and the Foundation who at first cooperated quite a bit to achieve their overthrow of the old order. Such overthrow did cause a short 50 year civil war of course.
350 years ago would come the new order defined by two organizations having usurped the old order who now engage in competing to get their president-for-life into the executive seat of the realm, a state of which has pretty much gone on today.
In reality of course, for the past century the Military Guild in collaboration with their “rivals” have spent efforts hoarding up weapons of mass destruction to use against any potential invading force. However, the question of reputation in using such cheap way to fight the invaders has come up quite a bit…
They didn't bother attending the summit mainly due to not considering them part of the general area despite their proximity to stuff like the sphere and commonwealth.
Type of Power: The type of power the Eveersko realm is somewhat nebulous, however they tend to get labled economic or religious in terms of their power despite their slightly above average innovation rates. However if you ask a high chief in the realm what they believe, they often see the realm as “bad at nothing, good at nothing”.
Technology:
The iconic weapon of the Realm fleets and used by organizations big and small, the variable mass driver is the common weapon of spacecraft developed by the Eveersko species. The weapon is like a rail gun, but is able to change the payload of projectiles on the fly and switch to rapid-fire projectile modes or single shot heavy hitter attacks.
There are a multitude of ammunition times developed over the centuries, such as plasma rounds, smart rounds, irradiating rounds, electromagnetic rounds, interception rounds and so on.
Ground soldier versions of this weapon also are the norm, which in turn allows the Eveersko troopers to carry far more ammo than their peers.
One of the most recent innovations from the realm, mainly due to adopting such technologies from the alien empires that now are in proximity to the realm. Nowadays their uses in containment of the slop and other sorts of beast, as a means of defense on ground and even as a projected beam weapon all have been figured out.
The energy barriers are named after the star god Cherno, and show the odd distinction the eveersko make between energy and heat. The barriers prove very effective at blocking out kinetics of any sort with a mazingly low rate of failure, but after a point get overloaded. Energy weapons seem to overload the energy barriers much faster than kinetics ironically, a thing that has made Eveersko ships make use of energy weapons which are basically plasma weapons.
Highly heat and radiation resistant hull that is used often by the Eveersko mainly due to the high radiation in some regions of the realm from local pulsar stars and as a means to infiltrate the atmospheres of worlds with thick atmospheres. Also the existence of this tech is a side effect of scientists wanting a way to make a armor that could resist extreme temperature weapons like heat way more effectively. It is to the point where particle weapons need multiple shots in quick succession to penetrate the hull of a Eveersko ship- although kinetic weapons have continued being a good means of breaking the hull like any other ship’s.
A example of such machine from ancient human culture. Same film also has a race that resembles some of the sub-cultures in the forest parts of the realm.
The Realm tends to use slave VI that are mainly used to do menial computer work like counting and processing information and targeting the enemy. Such Vis are kept “dumb” since AIs are considered generally pointless when one has the wisdom achieved through stimulants. Generally VBIs do the worst work, and it is often punishment for a Eveersko to work among the machines. They have useful everyday applications in cleaning toilets and the messes made in biolabs by the slop as well.
While the Eveersko are inclined to do the reputable work such as the many different forms of art the realm has and operating machines, VI drones have been used to do work normally seen as humiliating and in a good part of the realm are seen as preferable to using the slop for menial, humiliating labor since the slop keep having sex and raising families while on the job.
Drones are often used as well for scanning worlds and the such, however ground exploration is left to those with the profession of exploration and with the enhancements given to the Eveersko over the centuries they continue to neglect the full application of machine labor due to the use of exosuits as a amplifier when it comes to ship and building construction.
A example of a full-body exosuit used in the Foundation.
The thing dearest to a soldier regardless of organization or guild they hold allegiance to is that their exosuits alongside the stimulants have been instrumental in making their soldiers fast, deadly and damn near unstoppable in ground combat. The exosuits come in many, many different forms and uses.
For one, there are the basic exosuits that are just a apparatus wrapped around the yeti that greatly enhance the strength that the Eveersko can carry, as well these exosuits allow for the Eveersko to move incredibly fast for a infantry. Most amusing about the basic exosuit is that often the Eveersko wears it while pretty much naked when on a habitable world. However, the basic exosuits not always are fit mainly due to the necessity of orbital combat and boarding disabled ship despite their reliability and easiness to repair.
For after centuries of perfecting the art, the engineers within the realm have managed to make a device that consistently works with movements of even a yeti completely cooked up on hyper-reactive stimulants, mainly due to the suits emulating muscle structures over the ages and with the use of biotechnologies acting as basically a amplifier of physical power.
However, there are also fully covered suits like the following:
Powersuits like these are considered a secondary form of exo armor, and generally are equipped with energy shields and designed to allow the wearer to survive in the vacuum of space, as well scale sky scrapers and climb on the hulls of spaceships. However, these powersuits have yet to become the norm and invention wise have only been around for a few decades. Often those with the reputation to afford such suits use them.
Insanely common in the realm are stimulants, some legal and for anyone, others for military only and a few that are just down right illegal in any circumstance.
Stimulants are the secret behind the super human capabilities witnessed by ground forces- as the military ones allow for exponentially faster reaction times, a the fear of death being suppressed, jumping of adrenaline and far greater stamina.
In other fields stimulants act pretty much as drugs do today, although with some more fancy effects like being able to cause rapid regeneration of skin, strengthen the toughness of a hide, change hair color and eye color as well even allow one to have glow in the dark skin.
The jump drive is a form of FTL that allows for multiple ships in the same area to jump in unison to another star system with the guidance of the larger ships in the fleet. While it takes more energy than the typical warp drive, the jump drive has proven useful in a densely populated civilization like that of the realm.
Over the centuries the energy efficiency of the jump drive has been improved, as has the size of the field.
Like the other weapons within the realm, the dial-it-up missile system tends to follow a variable flavor. On the fly a operator can dial-up the payload, life span and fire rate to whatever the pilot wants. Most dial-it-up death missiles follow concepts similar in nature to a IBCM- they tend to be single missiles that eject many smaller missiles at the target when in close enough range. The idea being generally to bombard the enemy ship with a storm of missiles and make interception harder by having to deal with far more missiles than initially anticipated.
Application-wise missiles generally are seen as constantly accelerating projectiles, and generally used as longer ranged weapons than the mass drivers.
While stimulants have greatly enhanced the mind, and exosuits enhance the external body, both of these have proven only temporary. As a result, augmentations have managed to show up heavily in Eveersko society, generally as a means to make their hides more resilient, replace broken legs, and get eyes that can see in a multitude of mediums. Such augmentations have resulted in cyborgs in the realm, and as a means to allow a soldier who was injured on the field to keep fighting should he/she lose a limb or two.
Once upon a time some tank builders on a realm world some centuries ago found themselves frustrated by all the differing forms of planet the realm came across. Some worlds were full of oil lakes with lands of coal that had countless diamond deposits, others had high pressure atmospheres while a few others were just plain rugged as all hell. So they tried and failed numerous times to create a vehicle that can traverse any terrain, anywhere. While the first builders failed, later generations have taken on the challenge of creating a every terrain vehicle, and have gone about numerous ways to do so.
So far now completely successful every terrain vehicle has been made, but the military and civilian vehicles of the realm tend to be very adapted to many, many environments familiar and alien.
Troop transports loaded with pods are deployed when planet needs to be occupied or a ground force immediately. Loaded with the soldiers of the realm, they drop their soldiers from miles above where they coast down to the ground first in a heat resistant pod and later lose the pod as they slow down to the surface of a world.
In the case of space operations, generally troop transports take their soldiers to wherever a hole in the ship was made and infiltrate the ship from there. Similar case is with space stations, but generally the transport gets in through the dock if it is open.
Note: there are other forms of Eveersko tech not mentioned here; I just thought these were the most crucial.
I was going to send you this app last night, but a black out happened at 10:30 PM. Thankfully I kept the document saved. However, I noticed IC started since than and am worried that I won't be able to use this faction. I hope that due to other people like Iso and Serp not being done with their apps despite the sphere's significance that my pretty much complete app outside of maybe more specifics on tech and more pictures will be acceptable.
