[IC] The Great Wall

"The Great wall...It's much bigger than what I have heard...Here's where my adventures begin" Charlotte told to herself, the caravan with the new recruits arrived, it was a great distance so Charlotte talked with the other recruits. many had never held a sword, that didn't impress her, it was know that many joined in order to escape fro jail.
The caravan stoped, many soldiers were waiting, the Commander, an old fat many clapped "Welcome! From today on you will defend this wall with your lifes! Now...enjoy you stay" The Commander said andwalked away.
"Don't worry, he is pretty bad with speeches" A soldier who was giving maps to the recruits said, "Take this, it has the location of every place in here, the dinning room, the barracks, the stavles nd other things".
Charlotte took on of the maps "I'll study it later"

"Good idea" Petra replied. "I'm Petra. I come from a town that is under attack so I ran away then found myself here." She looks over her shoulder. "I am scared that I will be found...."

"Trust me lass, even if somebody knew where you were, it's not likely that they'll bother to come," said Gwilem to the younger woman. "The wall is a haven for madmen, criminals, and foolhardy adventure-seekers with more bravery than brains."
The girl was young, though, at least 4 years his junior. Poor girl must have been pretty desperate if she thought this to be her last resort.
He turned to the older woman with black hair and a ponytail, and asked, "And what about you? Why are you here?"

"That's good then." Petra replied. then just looks down at her feet.

"Me? oh...just...I'm just proving my father i can take care of myself" She said befor looking at her feet a little uncomfortable, she then looked at Petra "Don't worry, I'll take care of you" she said with a kind soft voice as if she was Petra's mother

"Thank you." Petra replies in a kinda quite voice.

[Vindle]

Vindle walked around. A soldier stopped him to give him a map and Vindle replied with a thanks, looking down at the map. While looking down at the map he bumped into Charlotte.
"Oh, sorry." he said.

Charlotte got bumped from behind "Hey watch it!" She yelled quite annoyed before turning back and see Vindle
"You can read that later, whatch where you are going!"

[Vindle]

"We're all on the same side here so have some patience." Vindle said, folding up the map. Are all these people gonna be difficult? he thought.
"By the way, the names Vindle. Since we'll all be workin' together we might as well know each other's names." he said.

kage just had a day dream of the events of 3 days ago "oh god oh god what just haponedoh only a memery" befor kage could do any thing a soldier gave him a map and pushed him torwards a group with a guy and two girls "um hello whats happening?"

Gwilem turned to the young man who had just appeared. "We're introducing ourselves." He said, slyly. "I'm Gwilem," he said, outstreching his hand.

"uh hi im kage uh where are we going and are we leaving the wall?"

Petra sees people getting shoved forward with maps just before she gets given a map and shoved forward too! She was shoved into a group of people telling each other their names but she recognized the one who said that they would look after her so she edges towards her.

CHarlotte looked at the younggirl and smiled, then messed her hair palyfuly
"Aren't you too young for this?"

"No! Well... maybe.... but it is better than where I was.." Petra replies

Gwilem looked at Kage. "Hell if I know. Far as I'm concerned, best bet is to keep your head down and do as you're told. If you're lucky, you won't even need to go over the wall. They can't damn well send every poor sod in the garrison over." Gwilem looked at the young man. He was younger than himself, just making his first voyage into adolescence. "Don't be so eager to put your life on the line. Live a bit before you find yourself dying."
The youth of the wall unnerved him. He was only so young himself, but the only person he had met older than him had been the black- haired woman and the captain himself.

"well its just um i i need to leave some things behind" kage then preceads to tell Gwilem what happened a few days ago "so i bought this hook shot ans well joined the army"

I guess I'm being unfair. He must be capable if he's here at all. He must be of a rather well-of family if he can afford that... thing.
What is that, anyway? I've never seen anything like it.

"well im glad you ask i bought this with what i salvaged from the house its like a cross bow but it has a hook attacked to a rope and it retracts the spike makes it so it can go into flesh and hooks so it drags them forward so i can finish them off" kage holds up his knife
