I have created this interest check to hopefully gather the members of the "Last Embers" thread from the old site. I will be working on putting it back together and retrieving anything I can from the old archives and posting it until Loves return and we can sort out her story and where to go from here.

Great! nice to see familiar names. I have talked to Scout and Orion and I have seen Guru and Fox on the site as well but I have yet to see Love. Anyone have a sighting?

Hey everyone! Man am I glad to see this topic. Huge thanks to Avery for gathering us all together like this. Hopefully more of our cast turn up.

So, like everyone else I've been waiting for the site to return, and thankfully it has, but it seems like we've lost quite a bit. I did have the entirety of the opening post saved on another computer, which unfortunately has gone kaput, so if anyone has that saved I'm sure we'd all be really appreciative. Besides the opening post (which has all of the character sheets saved and that crazy huge slab of world info), I don't think we'd need much else to continue. I'm thinking of just starting the RP up again by moving us a bit forward in time to where the two arks have already started their journey. Would everyone be okay with that?

In the meanwhile, how's everyone doing? It kind of feels like the aftermath of the apocalypse in here.

As long as I have my character sheet I am happy to skip forward. If I remember correctly Mal was just entering the ark any ways and hadn't interacted with anyone but Misha.

I have one of Ottilie and one of Alina that are oriented after the initial posts. Other than that, all I have are mine, which are quite hefty by themselves. Unfortunately it looks like I didn't completely back up the entirety of my last set of posts, otherwise I would have most of the last round of everyone. :/

I've managed to recover my CS; in the process of salvaging what I can from the cache of the old site, so I'm good with a time-skip.

Also, has anyone seen Maze around?

Yay, LJ! And I'm good with a timeskip as well. Haven't seen Maze :/ the only people I had contact with when the site went down was Kathi-chan and Scouteh.

Great to see the majority of people back. I'll dig through mu files on my computer when I return to VA. I am in PA right now until Tuesday and don't have access to my normal computer.

I am good with a time skip, I think it would be a good way to inject some "newness" into the thread since it is rebooting.

I'm thinking I might start trying to save my post on a flash drive and bring it to work when I get the chance... though keeping up on reading the IC is still a tough one. XD eh? I'll skim them as much as I can for now.. maybe copy paste them and take em home to read. >.> just hope too much doesn't happen between copy paste time and back to work and post time. That would be tragic. I guess I better leave my post as flexible and open ended as possible... >.<

Sorry for the lack of updates guys. I've actually been a bit unsure as how to proceed. Is the site safe to RP on now? I'm worried that something horrible might happen again and everything will be erased. Also, who else is missing? I think Maze is the only one who hasn't checked in. There's also the issue with the missing opening post, as that was probably the most important thing, as it had all of the world info and stuff. If there's anyone who has a copy of it saved, let us know. I did try to find it on google cache, but I can't seem to find Page 1 of the OOC. Sucks. :(

So yeah, right now I'm taking a bit of a wait and see approach. I think I'll wait few more days to see if Maze shows up again and if we can get back the opening post before starting again.
