An S-class FairyTail Future role-play (Int Check)

This is my first role-play on the new guild after a two(ish) year hiatus. Super excited to be back!
Also, you are welcome to call me Lume instead of Luminance.

The Plot (so far…^.^’)
200(ish) years in the future. The new Magic Council has taken control of all legal guilds and have recruited all of the S classified mages into their ranks, never to be seen again. Guilds are ruled with an iron fist and nothing goes on without the magic councils knowledge. Council members visit guilds weekly to make sure things are running smoothly and if things aren’t, then the guild master is placed under review. All requests/missions must be council approved.

Mages and all magic users must be registered and ranked, refusal results in punishment. Dark Guilds and Rogue Mages have been eradicated by the Magic Council’s Elite Squad of Rune Knights. No prisoners are ever taken.

The Magic Council is now a feared name. It is no longer like what it use to be, no sacrifice is too big or inhumane. Dark and dangerous things are happening in the very heart of the council, all of which are kept under heavy wraps.

Will there be any mages brave or strong enough to get to the bottom of everything? Our characters will be the few mages who were wise enough to keep their true/real magic a secret and use a cover magic. A magic which isn’t considered to be strong or threatening towards the Magic Council.

HELP WANTED!! You can show your enthusiasm and interest by helping me with the plot.

Boring rules of boringness

1. This role-play is between HIGH CASUAL and LOW ADVANCED, meaning acceptable spelling and grammar is expected as well as CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.

2. NO ONE LINERS. Have at least 2-3 paragraphs.

3. NO SPEED POSTING. Wait at least 2 posts before posting.

4. Yes, be imaginative, but please still be rational. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Also no ‘god modding.’

5. Please try to post at least 2-3 times a week.

6. I love romantic relations, but please for the good of the little kiddies eyes, fade to black, or pm, if things get heated!

7. Swearing is allowed if it suits your characters personality. Just don’t go overboard.

8. 1 character per person unless it’s an NPC.

9. Be nice to your fellow players or I will send you to the naughty corner which is all the way out of this role-play.

10. Ahhhh! This is boring me to sleep! So to finish, tell me the answer to life, the universe and everything in the Extra section of your CS. Or I will not accept your CS.

Can I seduce you by adding a few extra things?

Fantasy / Action / Adventure / Mystery / Drama / Supernatural

In the deepest, darkest part of the Magic Council Headquarters there is a room.
It is no simple room.
It has no windows
or doors.

It is a prison,
yet has no prisoners.

It is said that in the early hours of the morning when the sun is about to peak over the horizon,
voices, screams, pleads and indistinct whispers
sound from the very structure of the building.

Then the sun rises
and silence…

Edit: I had a new idea, if people aren't interested in FairyTail then we could do something completely different and just use the above seduce snippet and ignore the magic council headquarters part. Instead of mages maybe supernatural creatures? Elementals? Ancients? The imagined? Something never done before?

Nope, not really any restrictions. However now that I think about it I might just say no to dragon and god slaying magics. Other than that, just use your beautiful pink(ish) and squishy brain to come up with something amazing and unique for a 'real magic.' Cover magic can be one of the generic and boring magics that everyone seems to use such as ice make, celestial etc

I will stick with the FT idea since I have more of a plot for it and my cs is nearly finished. If you haven't already then you may begin creating your CS.

I just wanna see the first magic xD would our cover magic have to relate to the real magic?

Me too :) I would like for the cover magic to relate to the real magic, but as long as it isn't considered to be a 'strong' magic then it can be pretty much anything you like. I have quite the plot bunny planned so it is rather crucial for the cover magic to be something of little importance and/or threat towards the Magic Council.

I am currently working on the IC/OOC thread and I must say that it is looking fabulous! However I shan't nay post it until thee hath all posted yon sheets of characters, okay? Anyway if you have any plot suggestions it would really be super-duper helpful otherwise if anyone wants to Co-GM then that would also be helpful.

Okay :) No need to rush then, just take your time and I agree, names and magic are definitely the hardest part. I actually went through various names before I finally settled on one. But magic... no words can describe the woes faced when thinking up a unique(ish) kind of magic.
