I will just take that air manipulation part out. I was just thinking enhanced speed by reducing air resistance and utilising small amounts pressurised air for propulsion. It would only last a couple of seconds at a time. Anyway, no matter, I deleted it.

Kyara’s parents are carrier bird breeders and provide the land of Gemminia with the means of long distance communication. An important part of the job was to write out and read the messages for those who could not do so themselves and as a result Kyara is well educated and highly intelligent. Like all those of the Air affinity, Kyara is extremely creative and she tends to live in her head, but with her head seemingly in the clouds majority of the time, the people who do not know her well believe her to be an airhead.

Through the letters that she has read and written, Kyara knows the state of affairs of many families who lost their daughters as Brides to the Drakken. Seeing just how devastated the mothers and fathers were by the loss of their children made her realise that it would not be long until she too was taken. She knew she could have run away, it wasn’t unheard of for such things to happen, but she couldn’t do that to her parents, after all, running away was just as bad as being taken. Until her coming of age, Kya spent her time with her parents barely separating from them and helping them as much as possible. Finally the day came and she went with the Drakken without a fight. Staying strong for her parents was the least she could do. If only she knew what she was truely getting into.

Growing up around birds has given Kyara a fondness to the small winged creatures and she has a habit of making bird calls when bored. She also has a pigeon by the name of Jase who she hand reared from a hatchling and somehow he always manages to find her when she leaves the house.

YAY!!! I don't mind taking that air part out. I was actually debating whether to add it or not. I just thought it could be a unique plot point (you know, 'the thrill of the chase' and all that jazz).

Current Plot Idea

Our characters will be newly appointed partners and the first mission will be undercover, with the objective of finding an alien drug ring. There is an alien created drug being sold to humans (and other aliens) and it has a deadly effect.

Alternate Plot Ideas

- My character works for the MiB and your character is an alien working in (or as leader of) the drug ring.
- Your character works for the MiB and my character is part of the drug ring.
- My character 'recruits' your character. Vice versa.

With the help of her element, the wind, Kya is capable of being very quick and generally if she wants to get away from something only those of equal speed have a chance of catching up. That being said, since she isn’t too practiced with her power, her bursts of speed do not tend to last long. This too goes with her temper, for it is slow to show and short lived.

The year is 2017 and the world still remains oblivious to the existence of the extraterrestrials who visit and call Earth home. However, this unaware integration of humans and aliens has not gone without certain repercussions, in particular, the resulting births of half humans. While these humans are rare in number, they display abilities akin to their alien parent and often pose a risk to the wider populace. It is for this reason that the MIB recruit these individuals in order to keep them in check and teach them to adequately use and hide their abilities.

Hello, Luminance here. I have been on a hiatus from the guild and am ready to get back into writing. So, without further ado I present to you a Men in Black inspired rp. I say inspired because not everything in this rp is going to be cannon and I (hopefully you too) will be taking some creative liberty, which I feel is necessary with any fandom RP in order to make it more enjoyable and unique.

On that note, I hope we can collaborate on the plot. I'm not saying to go into express detail on everything that is going to happen, because that will ruin the surprise, I am saying that I expect you to come up with your own ideas and not just make me do all the work. You can create story Arks, NPC's, weapons, aliens etc. Whatever you want as long as it is relevant to MIB.

IMPORTANT

- I am only looking for ONE RP Partner whom I shall select from those who show interest and post a CS in this thread.

I will PM the 'winner' after a few days (2-3 days) and then thank everyone before closing this thread.
The CS Layout is tiny and shouldn't take too long to fill.
It, along with my characters CS can be found at the bottom of this post in the hiders.
If only one person shows interest they will be selected.
If no one shows interest I will cry in a corner I might try it as a group rp.

- I can physically only post a maximum of 3 times a week. I work and have university so I only have weekends free.

Despite being 18+ I would prefer to 'fade to black.' The reason for this is because I like my RP's to be plot focused.

The ability led to the nickname The Neuralyzer, because Nora can make people both forget or remember memories without the need for a neuralyzer.

Can tell memory based lies from the truth. e.g. ‘have you seen this weapon before?’
The P300 brain wave tends to be large when a person recognizes a meaningful item among a list of non-meaningful items. Using P300, Nora can determine whether people recognise information that is related to a crime or other event.

The user can cause the target's upper brain functions to shut down temporarily, causing unconsciousness.
