Kaori
As Kain’s voice carried to Daniel and Her about what she was about to do, she looked at him without emotion, although he could tell his words had sunk in with the slight nod she gave him. She had always taken heed of what he preached…or tried to, always keeping away from the lines that would be crossed to declare her monster. However, Daniel didn’t have as much luck as a vampire. He wasn’t human, nor wouldn’t act like one all the time. He was never in a dire need for human blood, but now he was standing on the edge. Kaori’s eyes fell to her hands, over the speckles of dirt that would cover it, despite the other two approaching. Kain would want for her to always pitch in for Daniel. In a way, his messages were now conflicting. Possibly loose a life to save a life. Or lose a life without ever knowing if you could have saved them in the first place. She knew what she had to do.
Ignoring Pytror for the moment, her head flipped towards Axton, obviously carrying something in his sleeve. And then Pyotr, with both of his hands behind his back. Great job, drew too much attention…. The last thing I want to be is vulnerable. Her eyes skimmed over the surroundings of the courtyard. Various pieces of rocks laid here, and nothing that could cause some deathly damage. She rose from Daniel, coughing a few times before she was fully upright, and took a step away from him. Kaori could no longer maintain that delightful smile and voice; her tensed jaw muscles and bitter glare displayed a silent-type of annoyed. Her arms crossed over her abdomen, hugging the clothes that stuck to her side. Picking up was weapon would be too visible. Having her arms like this made her seem nervous and more innocent. Instead, this was a pretty good position to back-hand someone.
“You, the one with the rock in his sleeve, there is a problem.” She tilted her head, sighing quietly with the nonchalant words leaving her lips, with her eyes locked on pytor who seemed to be more aggressive. She kept an eye on Axton out of the corner of her eyes, continuing. “It’s you. At least hide your weapon better, like he is behind his back.” When being one of the first to leave a place like the hotel, you quickly learn how to hold on your life better, to every detail. She cleared her throat, speaking to Pyotr next. “Can you find my friend’s heart rate? Can you help him?” She asked, gesturing towards Daniel who was too weak to do much moving. He had yet to open his eyes and could only speak through thoughts, but surely in his life-or-death mode, his body would reach out for a blood source. Ultimately, she left this choice up to Daniel for now. “I……think he’s dead!” She blurted out, like she was gasping for air, wearing this ‘emotional act’ like a costume on the outside. Whether it would stay or change depended on how this went. “Help us, please….” She blinked, sending a thought towards Daniel. All it takes is one bite…. And a couple of steps closer from him.
