"Does this have to do with the large amount of magic gathering around the school?" Tyler asked as he followed Theo and prepared for a battle if necessary. This magic level was far beyond anything he could do at the moment, but only because he didn't want to reveal his trump card yet.

"Interesting" Sol replied "So that mean's that once it is complete you will be able to fight without being held back by your body, an effective way to take care of your weakness." Sol said thoughtfully, "If you don't mind i would like to have a sparring session with you once you are finished with your ritual, i get the feeling that your powers must be quite impressive when your not held back by your body."

Meruin paused and considered it. She wanted to avoid fighting as much as she could, but at the same time, Sol could be useful in avoiding that. If she could somehow get on the Student Council Members' good-side, he could help her in avoiding unwanted fights.

"Okay," said Meruin, nodding her head slowly, "but don't expect too much from me. I think you overestimate how much exactly I could do."

Theo stopped a few distances from the spell. "Stop Tyler. You and I both know we're not ready for a fight. If a fight breaks out i want you to run and go get help while I hold them off , ok." Theo said putting his hands in the air and electricity flowed out of his hands. " I'm gonna throw a lighting bolt , when I let this go you charge in after it ok.

Sol replied "Very well, i won't expect you to do more than put out a reasonable amout of effort," Suddenly Sol's hair started to stand on end, he looked around cautiously, "There's no storm here so what the heck is that?

Meruin nodded. She was just about done with the ritual, all that was needed was for it to gather energy. Thankfully, she noticed that there was already a large amount of expended energy in the area. She looked at Sol who was sweating a bit and drew a conclusion. He was training here earlier.

Well, that makes things easier, thought Meruin. She was about to ask if he was ready to spar/duel with her (she wasn't really sure what you would call it) when Sol began looking around. Meruin could feel it easily; the gathering of power, electricity, if their guess was right. At once, Meruin put her hand in her pocket and held on to a small book there. While doing so, she used her wards to increase her vision.

"Two boys," she said, a little annoyed - she didn't think that she'd get into a fight like this so soon! "I think they're planning to ambush us. One of them is using charging up electricity. What should we do?"

"Just wait if they attack us without warning then we are excused to respond however we feel necessary, i can dissapaite the attack easily enough and i'm in front of you so they can only hit me" Sol replied.

Meruin nodded, and, just for good measure, scooted a little bit more behind Sol. She could probably stop the attack the same as him, but she'd rather not waste any energy.

"Stop. We should see what we're attacking before we attack. Dissipate your spell and be ready for an assault, don't go seeking one." Tyler said as he walked forward. "As far as we know, someone could just be doing ward maintenance around here." Tyler walked into plain view and raised his hands as he saw Meruin and Sol. "I come in peace."

Meruin looked at him, and sighed. "Okay, what do you want?" she asked immediately. She had things to be doing, after all, "and no, I don't want to fight you. Here," she said placing her hands on Sols shoulders awkwardly - the height difference was staggering - "you can fight this guy. He's on the student council."

Sol restrained himself from laughing, it seemed he was to be a bodygaurd of sorts, well if that was what he was he might as well act like it. "Milady if these men wish to fight i shall take care of it for you, carry on about your day." Sol looked at Tyler and Theo "And with that said what is your purpose here?"

Ethan walked through the halls as he was new to the academy and didn't know where to go. As Ethan looked around he felt more and more nervous, he knew no one at the school and felt like he would be a burden to any of the students as he had a hard time controlling one of his abilities. Ethan sat on a bench outside alone

"We sensed a high amount of magical energy outside of the school and decided to check it out. Am i correct in assuming that's what you're doing as well?" Tyler asked as he put his hands down.

"I was training and was curious as to the purpose of the ritual, as Meruin here as kindly explained it is to make efficent use of expended energy." Sol replied, "Your compain here seems to have a more aggresive view of the situation but no matter, if you have no business with Meruin or I then I will get going, one my classes is starting soon."

Slick had been sat watching. "Actually I can see your busy so I'll come back." With that he walked outside and saw a boy he hadn't met yet.

Theo walked behind Tyler. " I'm sorry if I mest up your spell , its just the scientists inside me always become hostile to powerful magic. By the way what type of spell was that?" Theo asked studying the circle.

Meruin, a bit relieved since it didn't look like they wanted to fight, said: "It's a Grand Ritual. That's just one circle of many for this spell, anyway," said Meruin, gesturing to the literal hundreds of magic circles etched around them. "Also, it's part of one big circle, so it took me a few hours to finish it."

"What are you planning to use this Grand Ritual for?" Theo asked as the scientists part of him was fascinated by the use of her magic.

"I need it to help my health recover," said Meruin, pulling out a small pocketbook. It was her secondary Grimoire, a backup though nothing compared to the original. "It gather's expended energy that people use when they do . . . well, pretty much anything, then transfigures it into a powerful healing spell that I can use, so long as I'm in the range of the Ritual."

"Have you tried science I'm sure I can make a potion for your handicap , but I understand if you say no being a magician and all." Theo asked walking towards Meruin.

"I've nothing against science," said Meruin succinctly, "but a lot of my ailments stem from my magic. You can't use science to treat magic, it's bad form and just begging for an accident."

The pages of her pocketbook began turning by themselves at a rapid pace, and when they settled, Meruin nodded. "Also, please don't get too close to me. I'm still making sure you're not going to attack us." The page on Meruin's book glowed and suddenly a small dog, a pug to be exact, pop out of it. "Please check the cafeteria."
