Mithrail was getting annoyed. Why wouldn't he yield already?! "Are you deliberately trying to insult me?" she muttered audibly through the quiet. "I bet you are aren't you? Fine, if that's the case . . ." Mithrail was not a martial artist; her fighting skills were incredibly poor, but she managed to make up for it by having natural speed and power. There was one move that she was taught though; it was the ONLY martial arts technique she was taught, and it was meant to be an escape technique, but Mithrail has never even considered the possibility of running in her life, so the move turned into an offensive one, which she usually combined with her flight or aid from spirits. As of now, the physical counterpart would do. This was a move she used when she wanted to end a fight in one blow. The Celestial assumed the Bowman stance, putting her left hand forward and tucking her right hand to her ribs. She lowered her head and glared at Sol. What would he do now?

Sol looked curiously at Mithrail as she adopted a stance. So far she had showed no knowledge of martial arts but she had a stance this entire time. Sol considered what to do, a melee attack at this point seemed almost suicidal, so instead... Sol picked up the metal shards that were left from his sheath being shattered and started hurling them at Mithrail. They would only cause superficial damage if anything but perhaps they would annoy her enough for him to get off another hit.

Mithrail inhaled just as Sol launched the shards of metal at her and dived forward. The technique titled "Horse and Archer" was a quick step meant to escape in a random direction during any interval. Mithrail turned it into one burst of speed so fast and with so much power behind it, the ground behind her turned into powder. The shards of metal bounced of the incoming shock-wave, and Mithrail ended up in front of Sol, using her cocked right hand to throw a punch to his stomach.

Sol flinched as Mithrail exploded towards him in an impossibly fast burst of movment knocking the piece of metal back at him. He had no time to dodge either the metal or the attack and simply ignored the metal letting it cut acorss his cheek drawing a crimson line across it and Sol brought his arms up in an X defense, the only thing that he could do here since he had commited himself to that one simple action. He gasped as her fist slammed into his weak defense lifting him off the ground and sending him flying into the wall several feet back. Sol grunted as he slammed into the far wall, again. He slowly stuggled up and stood resting against the wall assesing his injuries. Blood loss was starting to come into play making his vision blurry, his elbow was seriously bruised and he could barely stand on his injured leg limiting his movement to only jumps and rolls. If he could only get one more hit in, if she did that same attack again, then he might be able to sneak in one last hit.

Mithrai kicked herself forward with noticeably reduced speed. She stopped in front of Sol to engage in another fist fight with him, throwing more and more punches. They were slower than they were earlier though.

Sol rapidly blinked as Mithrail moved towards him launching into yet another barrage of punches. He barely mangaed to bat away the attacks and dodge them, more from instict given from long hours of training then anything else. His eyes glinted as he finally finsished the sequence of punches that Mithrail most commenly used. Sol stepped forward on his good leg barely letting a fist whiz past his face and spun on his good foot dodging the next blow he knew was coming and slamming both of his fists into her side. The blow wasn't the strongest he had done but she had no muscles there so at least his hands shouldn't break, and hopefully she would at least hit the magic wall of force stunning her long enough to allow him to repostion to endure her next attack.

Mithrail lost he balance due to his blow and ended up tripping on the magic field. Her head smacked onto it and she fell to the ground. Annoyed at her fall, the Celestial flipped back up, ready to punch it out with Sol again.

Sol began the painful process of moving again despratly focing his exhausted body to dodge. His reflexs began to fail and his body no longer obeyed him as he wished it to and one of Mithrail's blows slipped past clipping the side of Sol's head and sending him spinning to the ground head spinning more than it already had been. Sol slowly attempted to rise to his feet once again using the wall to steady himself.

> Meruin glance up at Tyler. Like Joseph, she had her head buried in a book. "Is that coming from the one who started challenging everyone for their ranks one after another? Sometimes all at the same time?" she said with a raised brow. That asides, Meruin really was curious. Mithrail was a pure Celestial, so according to her research, she should be able to fly and command local spirits. Why wasn't she doing so? "Yes it is. And yes I am a hypocrite." Tyler admitted quite quickly. "I must say, this Celestial girl is quite powerful. Can Sol beat her without magic?" He asked offhandedly.

Meruin laughed silently at his quick admission to hypocrisy. Turning to the match, Meruin gave her own assessment. "From what I have seen, no. Celestial's are abysmally poor at using magic since they can only command spirits, but they're notoriously hardy and strong. This girl seems to be a younger one, so her strength is not the same as those in the books." Meruin peered at Tyler, raising an eyebrow. "I take it you're interested in fighting her?" She didn't want to consider that he was interested in anything else about her.

Tyler replied as he opened up his book. He began reading and learning more about Water Magic.

Joseph yawned. He closed his book, looking at Sol. "Your fight is starting to bore me. If you want to beat her, here's a tip: Despite her body being extremely tough, her internal organs are the same as a human's. That's the one thing Celestials and humans have in common, besides appearance."

Meruin stared at a Joseph. For a teacher such as him to fail at common sense was . . . particularly disappointing. "How exactly is he supposed to affect her insides if he can't penetrate the _thick hide_ that is her _skin_? If you answer magic, then perhaps you will observe that he is actively dismissing it's use; otherwise, Mithrail would not be so _outstanding_ a victor. Meruin frowned. "Also, with all due respect sir, that was rude to Sol. At the very least he is trying his best and upholding his promise despite his situation; I see nothing boring in a man upholding of his pledge with determination, I see only well deserved pride and a noble spirit." Having said her piece, Meruin returned her attention to the fight. It was true though, that Sol would have a particularly difficult, almost impossible task of winning against the fledgling Celestial.

Charles would walk towards the commotion and look to the two fighters wondering what is going on, then see the ones on the side lines talking, and walks over towards them "..what's going on?" he asks surprised there is any fighting going on.

Joseph sighed. "Here's a better tip: Have you ever met a humanoid being whose neck and eyes were as tough as rock?"

"Why won't you stay down!?" shouted Mithrail. She was frustrated and annoyed, but she was also feeling nervous. What if he never went down? She grit her teeth and charged throwing more punches as soon as she got close. "Fall damn you!"

Tyler snickered at the sight before him. " It appears as if the Celestial is getting quite frustrated. I suggest you give up Miss Mithrail! I doubt he will be going down unless you either paralyze him or kill him." He called out to Mithrail with a noticeable grin. "Unless you can do either of those things, you may want to yield."

Sol's exhausted body was barely able to even acknowledge Mithrail quickly moving in to relentlessly continue her assault. The blood loss was starting to have noticeable effect and his limbs were beginning growing heavy from the effort. Sol changed his movements and adopted a completely defense style to adjust to his lack of energy and focused on simply surviving the assault. Holding himself completely limp Sol simply weaved between the attacks, if someone was not used to fighting against this kind of tacit it was incredibly hard to respond to. A complete defense was much easier than constantly looking for a chance to counter attack even though Sol could barely even manage this. There was no way he had the energy or the capability to even attempt attacking the Celestial again, but he wasn't going down until he had to and in his mind that was never. Unless Mithrail suddenly did something unexpected Sol should be able to keep this up until his legs collapsed, which at this rate would probably happen in less than a minute.

"Argh!" snapped Mithrail, completely losing her patience. She threw more punches, and for the first time in this fight, threw a kick, aimed towards Sols legs. "I'll break your legs completely if I have to! So! Stop! Moving! And! FALL!" she shouted.
