And my post is u- damn, missed the 180th OOC chance. Oh well, anyways, Leo, I referenced your character in the post, since Alexander was attending insorcery classes, I managed to weave something together. Now I'm off to finish some HW.

Oh, by the way Shifter, I thought our characters could develop a bit of a rapport. It feels like their outlooks are contrasting yet complementary, so I thought Auguste could mentor Adam a bit in the hopes of quelling his need for superiority. I doubt your character would buy the philosophical stuff mine would spew out, but he could see the opportunity to push further, since Auguste has such a mastery over the underlying structure of magic.

It's just an idea that seemed to make sense. Let me know what you think :)

That works for me, I thinking how Adam and Auguste would be rather well antiquated anyway considering Adam doesn't really care about this thing called "Rest"

Exactly! If Adam is an old student and constantly pushing himself, they would already be acquainted. If you want, we can work out "tutoring sessions" of sorts.

Which would be little more then glorified therapy sessions which Adam would grit his teeth through to try and get better at the underlying basics, I like it

Maybe not JUST glorified therapy sessions. But Auguste would definitely try to teach Adam that achievement should be a consequence and not goal, whereas Adam, I assume would always be pushing for more. I just imagined a moment in which Auguste "sabotages" or "fixes" a difficult spell Adam is casting to test his reactions. Hmmm, that would be some good conflict.

I think people were rushing in and then the Headmaster made his announcement. Jedly just acted based on his character's schedule. Your character is quite young unless I'm mistaken, perhaps he could have a special orientation activity?

In any case, it doesn't seem like there's a specific "WELCOME" activity happening for everyone.

Eh, I was guessing that classes were starting relatively soon. Perhaps there's a ceremony of sorts soon.

Not sure if the headmaster's speech accounts for said ceremony, maybe it might be held at the end of the day, once classes are over. Looks like the servers have improved, just that it takes a while for your subscriptions list to update, even after refreshing the page.

Anyway, about the opening ceremony, it will take place the next day. The first day is meant for newcomers and returnees to settle in comfortably. Remember, this is a boarding school as well, so no-one's going to enjoy an assembly on the first day (I know I didn't) xD

It depends on what you understand as 'strong' - Fae can do crap like sprout a whole forest or level mountains at their peak, but if we're talking one v one, the headmaster is only slightly disadvantaged; that match could go either way,

I know how you feel. Had two assemblies this morning, I stood by the exit each time and booked it out of there before the swarm of students broke loose. But will there be classes on the first day, so that the teachers may hand out the criteria?

Nope. Again, the first day is to familiarize and settle down. Anyway, gtg. breaks over :)
