OOC is Open
At one time the people of Adin were known for their strength, their fortitude and their perseverance, but that was before the Shade of Esper moved into the peak of the great mountain that overlooked their quaint villages. He was a monster that was said to have evolved into necessary evil at the birth of the angels and his offspring became known as sorcerers, or black magic wielders.
Village after village was destroyed throughout the land of Capernaum and yet those who came against the Shade fell into madness or were yet to be heard from again.
An invitation was extended to the surrounding villages and the country just beyond Adin’s borders to come and give assistance if capable. The prize was more valuable than any riches could ever be. Eternal life would be the victor’s bounty if he produced the head of the shade and put an end to the madness that ensued.
The only problem was that the prize to be won disappeared last night from its sanctuary and nothing remained in its place but the onyx, inky marks of the one who took it.

I’m looking to start an RP with two groups – witches and hunters. I usually do three groupings in my rps, so we might add something later! I’ve not fleshed out all the details, but am looking for a handful of creative peeps that might join alongside me to bring this to life.
It’s a bit of an adventure, mystery and of course plenty of battles.
The plot is essentially two-fold as described below.
Witches/Warlocks/Shade – The goal is to rule the surrounding kingdoms and to extend ones power through the obtaining of magical trinkets. The issues is that the trinket will be locked and the witches/warlocks will be send on a journey of sorts to locate the key to open this trinket. The latest find of course is the cup of eternal life. There will be an inscription of sorts on it and the Shade – who is creator of these magic-wielders - will charge a group of us to physically pick up and go on a journey to find the key. We can discuss types of magic and such in the OOC as I will need a bit of help from the group in discerning what we can and can’t do.
I love fantasy and dark realism, so they will encounter a few monsters, dragons and perhaps more hunters than they can handle.
Hunters – The call of the hunters will be to hunt the children of the Shade and ultimately to kill the Shade. We will start in the capital city of Adin, each of us having come from afar and will be given our charge to seek out the magic-welders and regain the stolen treasure. We will ultimately be asked to kill the Shade, whose secrets we will have to discover. In the first chapter we will move into the mountain and seek out the witches/warlocks, tracking them on their journey to locate the key.
I’m thinking a good hydra or snake should jack up the hunters quite nicely as well as a few tricks that we’ll get to encounter both mentally and physically.
I didn’t flesh this out completely because I hate walking into a pre-determined world with no say or creative license afforded me.
That said… you’re opinion, thoughts and creative ability will be used to help paint the world, the journey and the nastiness of the witches/warlocks.
I’d love a Co-GM as well, not for organization or storytelling, but to bounce ideas off of.
