So I was hanging out in my dorm room

When all of a sudden I noticed that my big, Vash the Stampede wall scroll (which is almost as tall as I am) was suddenly not hanging on my wall anymore. @_@ I mean, it didn't take me long to deduce that it had fallen off and landed behind my bed, but after retrieving it from down there, I couldn't help but wonder... how?

Cuz see, my scroll is held up by a string, which is hanging from a hook on the wall, as seen in this badly-lit image here.

There's nothing wrong with the hook - it's still perfectly secured to the wall, as it didn't fall off with the scroll or anything. And there's clearly nothing wrong with the string, either - I mean it didn't break or anything, obviously. So the only way this thing could've fallen was if the string somehow got knocked upwards so as to come off the hook... but that hook is like a full centimeter tall... and I have no idea at all how the scroll could've gotten that badly jostled. @_@ I mean, you can't even get the string any higher than it already is without lifting up the whole scroll several inches in order to create enough slack for that to happen, so... I am very perplexed by this.

And the other major questions in all this are: how long ago did it fall, and why did it take me that long to notice? @_@

I realize it's a harmless prank. I just can't see her making that sort of attempt to mess with me.

Plus she was there when I acknowledged that it had fallen, at which point if she had been the one that knocked it off then she would've started bursting out laughing cuz yeah she would not be able to keep a straight face through that.

Then the next most probable outcome is probably the wall banging, or maybe your roommate had quest and when he/she wasn't looking one of their guests accidentally knocked it down.
